The elitist Rockefeller sons would sometimes “joke” about which parts of the world they would each control according to biographer Peter Collier, carving the world up into different thiefdoms. Collier’s admission that there was “something really behind the joke” is an understatement considering the revelations of the late Aaron Russo about what Nicholas Rockefeller told him.
The admission is taken from a segment of a History Channel documentary about the Rockefeller family which hit You Tube today.
“China will be the world’s next great nation,” declared investment and commodities guru Jim Rogers….” Rogers went on:
Here’s how important I think China will be: My daughter, who was born in 2003, is learning Chinese. Her Chinese nanny speaks only Mandarin to her, and I suspect that she might learn Chinese before she learns English. In her lifetime, Chinese will be the most important language in the world, next to English. If you are young and ambitious, learn Chinese. If you have ambitions for your children, persuade them to learn Chinese.
… Its impressive advances notwithstanding, the People’s Republic of China remains an inefficient, oppressive, one-party communist state that could not have achieved its recent phenomenal development, except for the suicidal policies of the U.S. government (along with other non-communist governments) that transferred enormous capital, technology, and know-how to the Beijing regime, in violation of all economic and moral principles. And, in spite of its enormous gains and momentum, Communist China would quickly atrophy and crumble if the American people forced our politicians to end the destructive trade, spending, regulatory, and monetary policies that are destroying our middle class and transferring our manufacturing and technology base to China.

More than ever, I still consider the nuclear attack on America as inevitable, both because the real axis of evil (Russia and China) are still building for that attack, and because our own government is controlled by those intent upon destroying US sovereignty and delivering our nation over to a socialist New World Order (NWO). THE BIG PICTURE: 2007 UPDATE
Once a year I take time out from my normal news analysis to update World Affairs Brief subscribers to the “big picture” of events in the world, including specifically my projections for the next World War, which is the real threat we have to prepare for–not individual terrorism. More than ever, I still consider the nuclear attack on America as inevitable, both because the real axis of evil (Russia and China) are still building for that attack, and because our own government is controlled by those intent upon destroying US sovereignty and delivering our nation over to a socialist New World Order (NWO). The foundational document upon which this update is based is entitled “Strategic Threats of the Coming Decade” and is found at http://www.worldaffairsbrief.com/keytopics/threats.html.
A Larger World View of the Coming World War: Each year we see the US engaged in extensive military and covert intervention in nearly every country of the world–either under the guise of spreading democracy or promoting US interests. This intervention is the real source of hatred against America, not our freedoms. However, the true globalist purpose of all this intervention is to antagonize the world, control essential resources necessary for a future war, and to induce a massive nuclear retaliation against the US military that will create a world conflict sufficiently horrible to induce Western nations to yield essential sovereignty to a NWO. As I documented in recent briefs, however, that strategy was halted, temporarily, for the first time that I can remember. The US was planning on a massive air assault on Iran this winter but decided to postpone that attack, perhaps out of fear that another aggressive intervention and unpopular war, based on manipulated intelligence, could affect the upcoming primary elections in favor of Ron Paul–the only Republican anti-war presidential candidate–who is already dangerously close to breaking out of the single digits in the polls. I believe it was also feared, correctly, that the fragile state of the US dollar could not handle another trillion dollars in deficit spending while the establishment was busy funneling at least a trillion dollars into the world economy to bailout subprime mortagage holders and the banks that brokered these debt instruments (still ongoing).
The Bush administration has used the phony war on terror as a pretext in a seven year campaign of devious and manipulative legal wrangling to undermine Constitutional protections of the people and to incite false patriotism. Continue reading “Skousen: THE BIG PICTURE – 2007 UPDATE”

SYSTEMATIC CORRUPTION LINKS US AND MEXICAN GOVERNMENTS
One of the most obvious contradictions in the Bush administration’s claims to ensure Homeland Security is the government’s consistent refusal to shut down illegal immigration and drug running between Mexico and the US. DEA, INS and Homeland Security officials give hundreds of technical excuses for why they don’t have the resources or the political will to do what is necessary, but these are, I’m convinced, simply cover stories and lies.
There are tens of federal whistleblowers who tell a completely different story: that federal employees in these agencies are given direct and indirect orders by their superiors not to surveil selective areas or prosecute certain individuals. These whistleblowers also attest that when employees complain about these restrictions to higher officials in Washington, the cover-ups and stonewalling intensify. In other words, the problem is not that of a few rogue agents corrupted by bribes, as the Bush administration would have us believe. The problem is at the top, where systematic collusion is managed and covered up.
In this briefing, I will attempt to give my readers an overview of how the system works, why there is official collusion at high levels and what the ultimate purposes are. As to the specific evidence, there are numerous books and websites detailing examples of corruption and collusion by officials in the US and Mexico. Since I do not have the space to detail all of this evidence I will give you some samples plus specific references for further study. I encourage you to read enough of these accounts to understand the magnitude of the problem, keeping in mind that these stories represent only the tip of the iceberg.
Evidence of Government Collusion in Drug Running
Both the CIA/DEA and the Mexican government have been deeply involved with drug running for years. The Mexican system operates seamlessly (but compartmentalized) from the President down to border guards. Major participants in the system include the largest political party (PRI), federal and local police forces (where bribery is rampant), and the Mexican military. US Border Patrol agents have been fired upon on various occasions (on the US side of the border) by Mexican military personnel driving US-supplied Hummer all terrain vehicles, whose job it is to clear the path for drug runners crossing remote parts of the US border. Appeals by the DEA to Washington to intervene with Mexico to stop these illegal military intrusions are met with excuses and delay tactics. The much-touted “Huckabee Surge” in November-December opinion polls has been attributed by the major media pundits to the former Arkansas governor’s performances in the televised GOP candidate debates and the recent discovery of him by Evangelical Christian voters. However, more skeptical observers might be inclined to note that Mike Huckabee’s sudden jump in the polls was assisted by a quantum jump in media publicity, and that Huckabee, the supposed “outsider,” has been given the stamp of approval by the ultimate political “insider” organization: the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR).
United States banks on average borrowed $4.83 billion a day directly from the Federal Reserve in the week ended Dec. 26, up from $4.62 billion a day the previous week, Fed data released Thursday showed.

Dear Ellen, We punish our children for lying, but at Christmas we lied to them again this year about Santa. “Now what?” Signed, Dad with a guilty conscience.
Other Western countries like Great Britain are quite honest about their history of drug trading, but we still engage in self-censorship, even amongst the Left, when it comes to acknowledging that similar activities have been carried out by the CIA in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War and Latin America during the Iran-Contra Affair. Perhaps the reason why the CIA’s well-documented role in the global drug trade is never really acknowledged is because it never really ended.
Mike Huckabee recently named Richard Haas (the President of the CFR) as his advisor on foreign policy. CNN’s WOLF BLITZER asked “Who are your principal foreign policy advisers, Governor?” Mike Huckabee responded: “Well, I have a number of people from whom I get policy. I’m talking to Frank Gaffney, I talk to Richard Haas”So what does Richard Haas believe in? Here’s an article below which was written by Haas for the Tapei Times. It basically states the Bill of Rights and Constitution should be given up in favor of a cooperative world body run by elite consensus.

The Pope has ordered his bishops to set up exorcism squads to tackle the rise of Satanism. …
Father Paolo Scarafoni, who lectures on the Vatican’s exorcism course, said interest in Satanism and the occult has grown as people lost faith with the church.
He added: “People suffer and think that turning to the Devil can help solve their problems. We are being bombarded by requests for exorcisms.”
The Vatican is particularly concerned that young people are being exposed to the influence of Satanic sects through rock music and the Internet.
…the sequence of statements out of the White House is extremely revealing. It started with firm denials, then went silent and then pulled back rather sharply to a “President Bush has no present recollection of having seen the tapes.” This is a formulation frequently used to avoid perjury charges, a sort of way of saying “no” without really saying “no.”
This historic, 10/20/01 concert captures the essence of the emotions of America –
still stunned by 9/11!
The Who’s 4-song set is amazing, even here in low-def!!!
“They’re all wasted!”
“Let’s get together before we get much older.”
“My love is vengeance
That’s never free
When my fist clenches, crack it open
Before I use it and lose my cool“
“To be the sad man
Behind blue eyes?”
Behind Blue Eyes
“We’ll be fighting in the streets
With our children at our feet
And the morals that they worship will be gone
And the men who spurred us on
Sit in judgement of all wrong
They decide and the shotgun sings the song“
Won’t Get Fooled Again
“I’ll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new [Ron Paul] revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around …
Then I’ll get on my knees and pray
We don’t get fooled again“
Former head of the CIA’s clandestine service Jose Rodriguez claims he can take the White House down over a torture cover-up scandal.
Rodriguez said he may testify before the House Intelligence Committee if he is granted immunity from prosecution, The Sunday Times reported.
Ron Paul wouldn’t even think this, let alone say it.
MIKE HUCKABEE: “These three birds all said they would not vote for me on caucus night. You see what happened to ’em.”
“If you vote for me you live. If you don’t, uhmm [moves his hand in a slicing motion].”
Cut to footage of Huckabee speaking with reporters in the field at the conclusion of his hunt, still dressed in field gear.
MIKE HUCKABEE: It proved that you can shoot, and if someone really messes with you with negative campaign ads, they just need to be prepared.
COWAN: It was a dig at Mitt Romney, who he’s edged out in the polls here, but statistically still a toss-up between the two.
Yet another odd statment from Huck, and more of the MSM laughing it off. The CBS Early Show this morning played a clip of Huckabee out in the field. A reporter can be heard asking “Governor, you like to speak in metaphors. What’s the metaphor here?” Huckabee responds “don’t get in my way.” CBS had introduced the clip by calling it an example of Huckabee’s “folksy wit.”
A bit later, Early Show host Russ Mitchell interviewed Huckabee. Referring to the clip, Mitchell said “of course you were teasing,” and was about to move to another matter, when Huckabee interrupted him: “No Russ, I wasn’t teasing. I was serious: don’t get in my way.”
In his home state, Huckabee has a reputation for an elephantine memory for slights and criticism. “The local cliché about him is that he is thin-skinned,” says Prof. Janine Parry, who teaches Arkansas state politics at the University of Arkansas. “And he can be mean. The national press hasn’t seen much of that. So far he’s kept it under control.
“Huckabee, on one wellremembered occasion, banned an alternative newspaper, The Arkansas Times, from the services of the governor’s press office. His usual weapon, though, has been his sharp tongue. Huckabee is never profane — one of his first acts as governor was to ban swearing and inappropriate sexual remarks by his staff — but he has a way of expressing himself that sometimes flirts with vulgarity. “Once he told a group of journalists that I was constipated,” John Brummett recalls. “That was his way of saying I was full of [expletive].”
This fall, Huckabee demonstrated his style in an interview with The Washington Times. Assailing Hillary Clinton for failing to denounce MoveOn.org’s attack on Gen. David Petraeus, he said, “If you can’t get your lips off the backside of George Soros long enough to use those lips to say it’s wrong to declare a sitting general . . . guilty of treason, how would you ever expect to have the support of the very military you might have to send into deadly battle?”

Watched Ron Paul’s interview this morning on Meet The ‘Press’…
That was ‘interesting’ – I’ve never seen the bullfrog (Russert) quite so determined to destroy anything.
He did not refer to Paul as a ‘dark horse’ or even a ‘long shot’ – but he did try to use Paul’s very long record of public service to try and destroy Paul’s credibility.
Russert didn’t smile, didn’t look into the camera, just read his little digs into the interview in rapid fire-succession. Mostly, Paul was not allowed to even finish his own sentences – the exact opposite of Russert’s interviews with insiders…where Russert finishes their sentences for them with a huge grin.
Still, Ron held his own, and then some. … Russet went back to the 1980’s for “background” on Paul’s positions (fully half of which were either outright lies or bruising half-truths) – something no other candidate will ever be threatened with, much less have to explain. …
MR. TIM RUSSERT: Our issues this Sunday: Our Meet the Candidates 2008 series continues, an exclusive interview with Republican Ron Paul. He has served in the U.S. House of Representatives for 18 years. In 1988 he was the Libertarian Party candidate for president. Since October he has raised nearly $19 million. That is more than any other Republican candidate for president. Our guest, Dr. Ron Paul.
