US: Health and Human Services has proposed reducing the accepted levels of fluoride allowed in drinking by 42% to .7 milligrams per liter. The stated reason is damage to children’s teeth, but the growing public concern over fluoridated water is, not brown spots on teeth, but toxicity and resulting disease. [This action appears to be a reaction to the NY City Councilman who is introducing legislation to completely ban fluoride from public water supplies (see Jan 1 article)]. Yahoo 2011 Jan 7 (Cached)

FALSE! Internet news sources reported today that Congressman Ron Paul is considering a bill that would make it a crime to spray aerosols, gases, and/or metal particulates over the U.S., punishable by death or life imprisonment without possibility of parole. Our staff called Dr. Paul’s office to confirm and was told that no one has contacted him on this, and he has not seen any such legislation. 2011 Jan 7

Massive bird and fish deaths have become a worldwide phenomena over the last week. The die off (usually an isolated species) has sent scientists and politicians scrambling for an explanation, but none so far are convincing’ DailyMail 2011 Jan 6 (Cached)

The Pacific Ocean “garbage patch” (plastic trash in the water) was estimated in the press to be twice the size of Texas and has become the cause of great alarm about the environment. It turns out that it is is only one-half of one-percent that size. In other words, the truth was exaggerated by 200 times. [Any amount of trash in the ocean is bad news, but this is a classic example of the extent to which public opinion has been engineered to create hysteria in support of extreme environmental controls by government.] Telegraph 2011 Jan 6 (Cached)

A Florida math professor is taken off a plane when fellow passengers report that he has a suspicious package. It contained bagels, cream cheese, a hat, wallet, and keys. NBC 2011 Jan 6 (Cached)

US: Several political groups with strong roots in the present political establishment are promoting a Constitutional Convention supposedly as a way to control the power of the federal government. [This is a dangerous proposal. If the states want to reign in federal power, all they have to do is use the 10th Amendment, which right now gives them the authority to nullify anything the federal government does that is not specifically authorized in the Constitution. A Constitutional Convention would allow the possibility that the existing Constitution could be thrown out completely and replaced by a new one. The people who would write the new document are mostly hostile to the principles of the Founding Fathers. The convention would be dominated by the same power structure that has ignored the old rules, and they would be free to replace them with nice sounding phrases that would actually be a constitution for the New World Order built on collectivism. Oppose this with all your might. It is a trap!] Pelican Post 2011 Jan 6 (Cached)

US: Top 10 theories surrounding dead birds and fish. [Most of the mainstream ‘explanations’ are plain ridiculous; but, in all honesty, some of the alternative ‘theories’ are not much different.] Activist Post 2010 Jan 5 (Cached)

New Mexico’s Governor-elect Susana Martinez FIRED the entire state environmental board and halted all cap-and-trade schemes. She says they were “more interested in advancing political ideology than implementing common-sense policies” and, thereby, created an anti-business environment. [Although cap-and-trade was defeated in Congress, many states, including New Mexico, implemented their own schemes. The state’s voters rejected all this so they won’t have to suffer high taxation and economic suppression that comes with cap-and-trade. Expect counter-attacks from the global-warming lobby.]

A doctor reports that four teaspoons of coconut oil per day reversed her husband’s Alzheimer’s dementia. [This is only one case, but worth trying. Orthodox medicine has no cure for this condition. The source article (linked at the bottom of this story) also says that coconut oil is being used for the treatment of other diseases like Parkinson’s, diabetes, ALS, MS and Huntington’s Disease.] NaturalNews 2011 Jan 5 (Cached)

US: Republicans are targeting EPA greenhouse gas regulations, FCC internet control, and other Obama policies. That’s the good news. For ‘advice’ they are consulting with large corporate campaign donors that have a history of lobbying for political favoritism. That’s the bad news. Yahoo 2011 Jan 5 (Cached)

California Supreme Court rules that police can search cell phones of arrested (not convicted, just arrested) individuals without a warrant. The Ohio Supreme Court previously made an opposite ruling. The federal Supreme Court will decide.

US: The FDA wants to prohibit intravenous Vitamin-C in spite of its long record of safety and effectiveness in treating many life-threatening diseases. [The stated reason is that there needs to be extensive testing under controlled conditions to verify what is already known from experience. This would cost millions of dollars and, since Vitamin-C cannot be patented, there is minimal profit from its manufacture. Therefore, no one will do the testing. If allowed to stand, this move will eliminate yet one more effective, non-pharmaceutical treatment from the health market. Guess who lobbied for this?] ANH 2010 Jan 4 (Cached)

Pennsylvania: Toxic waste from gas wells is being dumped directly into rivers and streams from which communities get their drinking water. Barium and strontium the same metals being sprayed in chemtrails are among the toxic substances. The EPA has failed to regulate this dump because of the political influence of Big Oil. US Key government buildings in the Capitol were evacuated, and fighter jets were instantly scrambled when a passenger jet lost radio contact with air-traffic controllers. [That’s exactly how it should work and how it worked on many occasions prior to 9/11. Too bad it didn’t work the one day it was needed.] Huffington Post 2011 Jan 1 (Cached)

Pakistan’s government teeters near collapse as the ruling party no longer controls Parliament. Inflation is high, power shortages are common, gasoline is scarce, a massive flood has affected 20 million people, and the UN’s IMF is demanding payment on its loan. [The military’s allegiance is unknown at this time, but something soon must come apart.]

Abu Dhabi had 50 off-season rainstorms last year, and a Swiss company hired by the government says they did it by pumping charged ions into the atmosphere. Weather modification has become big business around the world. [This technology does not place toxic chemicals into the air as now is being done by geo-engineers working on the whole planet instead of a local area. However, creating rain in one area pulls it away from another area. If the area that loses rain is over the ocean, everyone is happy; but, if rain is taken from inhabited land areas, we have a big problem. This is a dangerous technology, especially in the hands of the military where it becomes a weapon for destruction and population control.] DailyMail 2011 Jan 3 (Cached)

Bank of America was sued by Freddie Mac for $117 billion for fraudulent loans made by Countrywide, which was acquired by BofA in 2008. Now Freddie settles for $1.28 billion, which is only one penny for each dollar lost. BofA settled with Fannie Mae for $1.52 billion (also far below value). Critics say this is a backdoor bailout for BofA because, if the settlements had been greater, the government would have had to give it the money, and that would not go well with the public, which already is angry over bank bailouts. CNN Money 2011 Jan 3 (Cached)

US: Allstate Insurance is suing Bank of America and its CEO Angelo Mozilo because BofA sold them toxic loan investments as part of the sale of Countrywide Loan, while claiming they were safe securities. BofA is being sued on similar charges by others also with total damages valued at $54 billion. [If the editor of this news service and thousands of other informed observers knew these loans were worthless 15 years ago, we can be sure the sophisticated business leaders working at Allstate and every other company within the finance industry knew it as well. The buyers were not fooled. They just wanted to get into the action. What we are witnessing is a line up to the federal trough for more bailout money. If Allstate and others can win their cases, ‘too-big-to-fail’ BofA will simply get the cash once more from Congress and the Federal Reserve, which means from you and me. On the other hand, the settlements may be much less than Allstate is asking so as to minimize the how much bailout BofA will need. Everyone is gaming the system.] Reuters Posted 2011 Jan 2 (Cached)

UK: Astrophysicist and meteorologist who accurately predicted the current cold weather when others were wrong says that they have been following, not science, but the fraudulent political agenda of global warming. He predicts that we are moving into a 20+ year ice age. FoxNews Posted 2011 Jan 1

Prince Charles, after 20 years of lobbying, has convinced Parliament to drop the requirement that they approve the budget for the royal family. This could make him the richest king in history. The royals will now have direct access to profits from the Crown Estate with such assets as the Regent-Street shopping area, 265,000 acres of farmland, and the national seabed that stretches 12 nautical miles around Britain. Here is a short video that is designed to condition people to accept and even approve being crammed into mega-cities with tightly controlled housing, transportation, education, job placement, and food choices. It’s pure propaganda for the UN’s Agenda 21 program that aims to remove most people from the country where they are hard to control and get them into mega-cities where they can be totally regimented. This REALLY is what is being planned for you. YouTube 2011 Jan 4

Lockheed Martin, a military and aircraft production company, is the largest single recipient of US tax dollars. This author says that, like the largest banks, it has become too big to fail, which means its mistakes and corruption are always covered up by the government, and its losses are passed to the taxpayers. This is an eye-opening review. Yahoo 2011 Jan 4 (Cached)

Alcohol is a fuel and can be distilled from plants that thrive in poor soil, don’t need much rain, and grow like weeds without cultivation. [If we could ever break our fixation on gasoline from oil, producing fuel from these sources could bring back economic prosperity and oil independence to the US.]

US: Local law enforcement increasingly is being brought under federal control primarily through offers of money from Washington. [Local police departments seldom resist a federal grant to help them hire more officers and purchase needed equipment; but, with the money, comes control.]

Catherine Austin Fitts, former Assistant Secretary of Housing, describes the present state of American finance as a ‘tapeworm economy” that feeds upon its host (the common people) while nourishing an ever-growing parasite (insiders) that, eventually kills the host. On the positive side, she explains how local economies can be re-engineered to prosper once again. This is an excellent overview of hard realities. YouTube Posted 2011 Jan 1
