Here’s some news footage from 2007 as well as some more recent footage documenting the origin of the modern day Tea Party movement and those responsible for it.

It was started in 2007 from the grassroots by Ron Paul supporters for his 2008 Presidential Campaign. It was later hijacked by Republicans and Fox News making it more of a corporate movement. It’s now much different than the original, and has lost most of it’s purpose.
