Oct. 17 (Bloomberg) — Michael Woodford, former president and chief executive officer of Olympus Corp., talks about events leading to his dismissal by the company’s board on Oct. 14 and his request that U.K. prosecutors investigate fees paid by Olympus to advisers in the 2008 acquisition of Gyrus Group Plc. The fees were more than a third of the $2 billion purchase price, according to a Woodford-commissioned report from PricewaterhouseCoopers. Woodford speaks with Lisa Murphy on Bloomberg Television’s “Taking Stock.” (Source: Bloomberg)
