Christopher Bollyn writes on Facebook:
Galveston Hurricane of 1900 killed between 6,000 and 12,000 – before Climate Change!
There are articles that seek to blame Hurricane Harvey on “climate change.” The reader should keep in mind that this area has been hit by devastating hurricanes before, such as the storm that hit Galveston on September 8, 1900. As the Wikipedia article on the 1900 Galveston hurricane says:
The Great Galveston Hurricane was a Category 4 storm, with winds of up to 145 mph (233 km/h), which made landfall on September 8, 1900, in Galveston, Texas, in the United States, leaving about 6,000 to 12,000 dead. It remains to the present day the deadliest natural disaster in US history. See: 1900 Galveston hurricane

What an irresponsible post. To compare the ability to respond to a disaster in 1900 as compared to now is just silly. If this storm would have hit in 1900 the results would have been disastrous (as they are today). There was literally 1 day of notice before the hurricane of 1900, allowing for no time to evacuate or prepare for the hurricane that was about to hit. Today we have models predicting these things days or weeks in advance, and we have the infrastructure to at least help people escape (even though many lives were still lost). I am not sure how that fact that there was a bad storm in 1900 means there is not climate change. 95% of meteorologist believe in some sort of global climate change (man made or otherwise), seems like a pretty solid majority considering people love to disagree in this day. I am not an expert, but this just seems like such childish logic.

There is man-made climate change, which I’ve known about since the ’90s, and have watched hurricanes ever since, which we have the ability to quell. Many hurricanes we’ve seen in the last 20 years have been predicted to be disasters, and at the last minute, the teeth is knocked out of them.
The Houston area should not have been developed to the point it has been since the 1900 hurricane, having seen what would likely happen again. And they’ve paved so much of the land that the water has nowhere to go, so the water depth is worse.
Kevin, I don’t know if you’ve been following this, but the globalists have an agenda with this climate change model, and with the secret geoengineering programs they’re carrying out. That’s why they claim climate change at every opportunity, which Christopher Bollyn is pointing out as irresponsible.
He has also observed their agenda for decades, which he is an expert on.
It’s childish logic to accept without analysis what the globalists are telling us is true, since their agenda is to destroy the US and merge all countries into one that they’ll control.
