Jesse goes into detail on the idea that when guys get into style, get flashy and “matchy” with their outfits, it’s WOMANLY. They’re like a fancy woman, like their mothers — usually single mothers (because of high out-of-wedlock birthrate in the black community). It’s not manly, it’s not masculine; it’s effeminate, almost like gay/queer/homosexual males who are into fashion and think with pride that they’re fabulous. Men who do this with their sons are making their sons like them, while they’re like their mothers! Women dress up to get a man. Men dress up… to get whatever they can. Take a bath, brush your hair, put on slacks, act like you have some sense, and go to work. But don’t be “put together” — that’s girly, female.
