Senator Cathy Giessel in this press briefing tries to justify stealing the PFD. She calls it protecting the PFD for all Alaskans.
Anybody that knows the truth. Knows she is lying here. They are not protecting the Statutory PFD and the decades old Statute.
She try’s to claim paying us a Statutory PFD is why they have no money to pay the States Budget.
Blow this one up folks. How many times does she lie to us all?

Time to put an end to this once and for all. They keep winning the battle one corrupt bill at a time. First they passed HB 287 which gave them access to pay Early Education and K-12 Directly from OUR ERA Account holding OUR Money for the PFD. Next came SB 26. This one carved out a percentage of our ERA Earnings to Fund Government with every year, till 2021. Then last year they passed HB/SB 2001 which turned our PFD into “Tax Revenue”. Then they formed a “PFD Bicameral Work Group” that has Six Different Plans. Each one carving out a different portion of our PFD to permanently pay for the Special Interests Budget and last but not least… The “PFD-Budget Tool” that they launched to backup those Six Plans, which if you Zero out the PFD from the Tool and not show it as tax revenue. It shows they have a $900 Million Surplus after paying for the budget. Then if they follow the Decades Old Statute for the PFD. to pay us our Dividend,, they still have an $900 Million Surplus sitting there.
