THE TALMUD: WELLSPRING OF THE JEWISH PORNOGRAPHY INDUSTRY

The Bible says sex in marriage is one of God’s greatest gifts. It’s so wholesome that Scripture repeatedly characterizes Christ’s spiritual relationship to His church as that of an earthly bride and her heavenly husband.
Ancient Israel was first to become the bride of God. Christ rescued her from oblivion to become His unique spiritual wife. Yet Israel perverted her relationship to her divine husband. She became a spiritual harlot, blaspheming His name among the nations (Rom. 2:24)
Today Israel remains a spiritual harlot. She corrupts the whole world through the media she dominates. (See, “Jews Confirm Big Media Is Jewish) What few realize, however, is that Jews also dominate the pornography industry worldwide, both as producers and performers.
Fountain of Wickedness
Why do Jews, only about 2.5 percent of the U.S. population, dominate porn? It’s because anti-Christian, liberal Jews today are primarily descended from 19th century European, Orthodox Jewish cultures centering around the Babylonian Talmud. Unlike most Christian Americans, whose European ancestors venerated the wholesome teachings of the Bible, most American Jews come from a Talmudic culture which elevates the teachings of those who had Christ crucified, the Pharisees.
Jesus called the Pharisees and their followers ‘an adulterous generation’ (Matt. 12:39). St. Paul accused the Pharisaic leaders of preaching against adultery and yet also practicing it (Rom. 9:22).
After being exiled to Babylon in 597 B.C., the Jews gradually absorbed the immorality of Babylonian culture. The Talmud, formulated during their 1600-year stay in Babylon, included permission for the Pharisees to engage in many Babylonian sexual perversions, including bestiality: sex with animals.
Let’s consider the Talmud’s perversion of God’s gift of sex in marriage.
Permitting Adultery
The Talmud reveals how the Pharisees used legal quibbles to evade the laws of God given through Moses. They perverted the law to permit adultery and the grossest forms of sexual misbehavior. With the audacity to quote Moses, the Talmud reverses the commandment against adultery, saying:
GEMARA. Our Rabbis taught (And the man that committeth adultery with another man’s wife, even he that committeth adultery … Shall surely be put to death.) ‘The man’ excludes a minor; ‘that committeth adultery with another man’s wife’ excludes the wife of a minor; ‘even he that committeth adultery with his neighbor’s wife’ excludes the wife of a heathen;… 1
By the time this dictum was written, in the several centuries after Christ, capital punishment for adultery was no longer enforced by the Jews. Rather, the Pharisees in this passage, are introducing moral exceptions to God’s condemnation of sexual sin. The Talmud teaches that sex with a minor, i.e., a boy under 9 years and a girl of 3 years, doesn’t count as adultery since the minor is too young to “throw blame.” (See, “Pedophilia: The Talmud’s Dirty Secret“) Similarly, the wife of a heathen is exempt; God’s law for adultery was directed against those who are “man,” i.e., Jews. Gentiles are “barbarians.” 2
The Talmud allows adultery between adult Jews if the male’s sexual organ remains relaxed: “… connection with a married woman excludes intercourse with a relaxed membrum.” (Yebamoth 55b) The Pharisaic rationale was that since this isn’t a “real” connection, it would not constitute adultery, or incest either. “…if one cohabited with forbidden relatives with relaxed membrum he is exonerated…” (Yebamoth 55b)
Yet the Pharisees did, in fact, allow penetration, just as long as withdrawal occurred before completion of orgasm. Yebamoth 56a and 56b contain a spirited dispute between some of the Talmud’s most respected sages on the structure of male genitalia and to what extent it might be used before actual adultery had taken place. The majority opinion stands: “The first stage is constituted by the insertion of the corona; and the final stage, by actual consummation. Beyond this [insertion], the act is no more than superficial contact and one is exonerated in regard to it.”
Raping Slave Girls
Special permission is given by the Pharisees in Kerithoth 11a and 11b to rape “designated bondmaids,” Gentile proselytes who are slaves in the Pharisee’s household. 3 This is an option which doubtless caused many a Pharisee to lift his eyes from study of the Torah. Although the Mishnah (original oral law) flatly states that any person who forces a sexual connection on someone outside of marriage is liable to punishment, the Gemara (later commentary) emphatically disagrees. It teaches that when a slave girl is sleeping, she is morally innocent. This is the prevailing view of the Talmud, saying that if the Pharisee violates her in her sleep, her innocence becomes his also.
The above passage continues: “…in our instance even the one awake is exempted, because they depend upon one another.” If the handmaid is awake, and a Pharisee rapes her, he is guilty under the law. But if he penetrates her without completing his orgasm within her body, the Talmud describes his act as “mere sexual contact” without moral consequence. The Pharisee could also escape guilt by raping a bondmaid through oral or anal sex. In this case, he is as “guiltless as if she had been sleeping…for with the designated bondmaid one is guilty only in the case of natural connection, but not in the case of perverse connection, because it is written ‘carnally.'”
Yet “going all the way” with their slave girls was what most Pharisees really wanted. The Talmud gave it to them: “Just wait,” it advises, “until she has fallen into the ‘innocence’ of sleep. You’ll be innocent too!”
Promoting Adultery Among the Gentiles
On the other hand, the Pharisees did not want fellow Jews sleeping with their wives who, unlike Gentile bondmaids, were “Jewish queens.” Consequently, the Talmud does not sanction adultery between Jews.
However, because Gentile “barbarians” are akin to animals and racially and spiritually inferior to Jews, the Pharisees said Gentiles committing adultery in an unnatural manner are free from punishment.
Sanhedrin 58b says: “A heathen who violates his neighbor’s wife unnaturally is free from punishment.”
In light of the Talmud’s permission for Pharisees to rape their female slaves, it isn’t difficult to imagine how Hollywood media moguls, reared in Talmudic ethics, might require sex with aspiring starlets before a contract is signed. After all, such goyim “shiksas” are virtual slaves to the studio heads for hope of stardom. Also, while not sanctioning adultery with fellow Jews, the Jews of Hollywood might, according to the Talmud, have a clear conscience about promoting adultery among the “goyim.”
Allowing Sex with Animals
In ancient times dogs were trained by the eunuchs in pagan temples for sexual purposes. The “wages of a dog” which Moses referred to in Deuteronomy 23:18 concerned the rental fees obtained through bestiality. At the time of the Pharisees such practices were still widespread throughout the pagan world, especially in Babylon (where most of the greatest Talmudic rabbis flourished); sex with animals was at least covertly approved of by them.
Although the Talmud condemns bestiality in general terms, there are exceptions. The Pharisees rationalized that when the Bible condemns those who lie “carnally” with a beast, it is referring to those who do so in a “normal” or “carnal” manner, not in a perverted manner, which is exempt. A woman’s intercourse with a dog, the Pharisees held, was sufficiently normal to make it perverted and thus subject to punishment. In contrast, the sex act of a man upon an animal was sufficiently perverted to make it free from punishment.
Perverting the Priesthood
Although Moses commanded that the priests “shall not take a wife that is a whore, or profane” (Leviticus 21:7), the rabbis agreed “a woman who had intercourse with a beast is eligible to marry a priest.” (Yeb. 59b) The Talmud footnote for this passage says: “Even a high priest, the result of such intercourse being regarded as a mere wound…” The Talmud gives an example of this in the same passage:
It once happened at Haitalu that while a young woman was sweeping the floor a village dog covered her from the rear (a case of unnatural intercourse) and Rabbi [Judah Hanasi] permitted her to marry a priest. (Yeb. 59b)
On the same subject, concerning a woman and her son:
Our rabbis taught: ‘If a woman sported lewdly with her young son [a minor], and he committed the first stage of cohabitation with her, Beth Shammai says he therefore renders her unfit for the priesthood. Beth Hillel declares her fit.’ (Sanh. 69b) 5
In Sota 26b, the question is asked:
What is the statement which the rabbis made that there is no adultery in connection with an animal— because it is written ‘Thou shalt not bring the hire of a harlot or the wages of a dog, etc.,’ (Deuteronomy XXIII, 19) and it has been taught the hire of a dog and the wages of a harlot are permissible…
Yeb. 59b confirms that:
Harlotry is not applicable to bestial intercourse…we learned that the hire of a dog and the price of a harlot are permitted…
(The footnote to this passage says that the payment a harlot receives for having intercourse with a dog, perhaps an act which spectators paid to see, may legally be “consecrated to the altar.”)
As long as fees from immorality kept clinking into the temple coffers, the Pharisees didn’t mind how they were earned. But to avoid possible quibbles, the Talmud clarifies one fact concerning tithes from the proceeds of adultery: “If he gave her it and subsequently had intercourse with her, or had intercourse with her and subsequently gave it to her, the hire is permitted.” (Abodah Zarah 62b) Either way, wages from prostitution were accepted, swelling the Sanhedrin’s coffers.
Bringing Babylon to America
With this religious and cultural heritage, largely acquired from 1600 years in the moral cesspool of the ancient world, Babylon, it’s not surprising that the descendants of Orthodox Jews from Germany and Eastern Europe became pornographers.
The Jerusalem Post, March 9, 2000, says, “A great many of the publishers and peddlers of what was variously called flagitious, pornographic, or erotic literature were Jews, and most of those were German Jews who had learned the printing trades in the old country.”
It is not possible here to document the vast involvement of Jews in pornography, not only in the U.S. but Europe, South America, and Israel.
I will instead quote at length from Nathan Abrams, lecturer in Modern American History at the University of Aberdeen. His article, Triple-Exthnics, Nathan Abrams on Jews in the American Porn Industry, published by The Jewish Quarterly (UK) [print edition, 2005, p. 27-30], gives an overview of the history and motivation of Jewish pornographers. No one can regard his perspective as anti-Semitic.
“… There’s no getting away from the fact that secular Jews played (and still continue to play) a disproportionate role throughout the adult film industry in America.
Jewish activity in the porn industry divides into two (sometimes overlapping) genres: pornographers and performers. Though Jews make up only two per cent of the American population, they have been prominent in pornography. Many erotica dealers in the book trade between 1890 and 1940 were immigrant Jews of German origin…
In the postwar era, America’s most notorious pornographer was Reuben Sturman, the ‘Walt Disney of Porn.’ According to the US Department of Justice, throughout the 1970s Sturman controlled most of the pornography circulating in the country … by the mid-70s he owned over 200 adult bookstores… It was said that Sturman did not simply control the adult-entertainment industry, he was the industry. Eventually, he was convicted of tax evasion and other crimes and died, disgraced, in prison in 1997. His son, David, continued running the family business.
The contemporary incarnation of Sturman is 43-year-old Jewish Clevelander Steven Hirsch who has been described as ‘the Donald Trump of porno.’ The link between the two is Steve’s father, Fred, who was a stockholder-cum-lieutenant to Sturman. Today Hirsch runs the Vivid Entertainment Group, which has been called the Microsoft of the porn world, the top producer of ‘adult’ films in the US. His specialty was to import mainstream marketing techniques into the porn business, indeed, Vivid parallels the Hollywood studio system of the 1930s and 1940s, particularly in its exclusive contracts to porn stars who are hired and moulded by Hirsch…
Jews accounted for most of the leading male performers as well as a sizable number of female stars in porn movies of the 1970s and ’80s…
The adult entertainment business required something that Jews possessed in abundance: chutzpah…
Sturman…identified as a Jew — was a generous donator to Jewish charities — and performer Richard Pacheco once interviewed to be a rabbinical student…
Is there a deeper reason behind the mere financial, as to why Jews in particular have become involved in porn?…
According to one anonymous industry insider quoted by E. Michael Jones in the magazine Culture Wars (May 2003), ‘The leading male performers through the 1980s came from secular Jewish upbringings and the females from Roman Catholic day schools.’ The standard porn scenario became as a result a Jewish fantasy of schtupping the Catholic shiksa [sex with Catholic girls]…
Extending the subversive thesis, Jewish involvement in the X-rated industry can be seen as a proverbial two fingers to the entire WASP [white Anglo-Saxon protestants – ed.] establishment in America. Some porn stars viewed themselves as frontline fighters in the spiritual battle between Christian America and secular humanism. According to [Luke] Ford, Jewish X-rated actors often brag about their ‘joy in being anarchic, sexual gadflies to the puritanical beast.’ Jewish involvement in porn, by this argument, is the result of an atavistic hatred of Christian authority: They are trying to weaken the dominant culture in America by moral subversion… Al Goldstein, the publisher of Screw magazine, said (on lukeford.com), ‘The only reason that Jews are in pornography is that we think that Christ sucks. Catholicism sucks. We don’t believe in authoritarianism.’ Pornography thus becomes a way of defiling Christian culture and, as it penetrates to the very heart of the American mainstream (and is no doubt consumed by those very same WASPs [white Anglo-Saxon protestants – ed.]), its subversive character becomes more charged…
It is a case of the traditional revolutionary/radical drive of immigrant Jews in America being channeled into sexual rather than leftist politics. Just as Jews have been disproportionately represented in radical movements over the years, so they are disproportionately represented in the porn industry. Jews in America have been sexual revolutionaries. A large amount of the material on sexual liberation was written by Jews. Those at the forefront of the movement that forced America to adopt a more liberal view of sex were Jewish…”
Corrupting the Nations
God chose the ancient Hebrews to become a purifying light unto the nations. But after rejecting her spiritual husband, Jesus, Israel became the opposite: arch purveyor of sexual defilement and darkness in the world today.
In response to such degeneracy, many turn to a racist explanation: Jews are genetically subversive and degenerate. Anti-Semites have even suggested such social parasites and destroyers should themselves be destroyed.
But the evil in the Talmud, as well as the Jewish people, does not exist because of heredity. It exists because of moral decisions against truth, the same moral decisions that each of us face. Thousands of years ago the Pharisees and the Jewish people rejected the true Light from God, Jesus Christ. Their reward? Abysmal darkness.
Yes, unbelieving Jews labor under a unique curse of spiritual blindness and desolation (Deut. 27, Matt. 23:38). But a Jew is as free to cry out for, and receive, Christ’s mercy as is a Gentile.
Without Christ, all of us, from Jewish pornographers to “born-again” hypocrites, will languish side by side in hell forever. Only Christ can give the Jewish pornographer and the anti-Semite what they desperately need: a pure heart, full of love.

2 The Jewish Encyclopedia in its article on “Gentiles,” p.619, says of the Talmudic rabbis, “…They held that only Israelites are men, quoting the prophet, ‘Ye are my flock, the flock of my pasture, are men‘ (Ezekiel XXXIV.31). Gentiles they classed not as men but as barbarians.”
3 Kerithoth 11a specifies that types of immoral conduct are permitted toward a “designated handmaid,” i.e., a slave-girl for whom the master has picked a future husband. Such immoral conduct, however, is not permitted if the girl has not been so betrothed. The motive for making such a distinction may lie in the powers of coercion that a Pharisee held over his personal handmaid, who was indebted to her master for prospects of a husband and had little recourse to law against him if he sexually abused her. The Pharisee would have been in jeopardy had he abused a girl who was not obligated to him and might report his actions to others.

5 Shammai and Hillel were leaders of rivaling schools of Pharisaic opinion in Palestine in the late, pre-Christian era. The Jewish Encyclopedia says the school of Hillel usually had the upper hand. The modern Hillel Theological Seminary is named after one of Judaism’s most respected sages.
Talmud teaches that a woman who has “natural” or “unnatural” sex with a beast is guilty; a man who has such sex “unnaturally” is not. (Sanhedrin 55a; p372)
