I have loved this song Pastures of Plenty by Woody Guthrie since I was a young man in California during the grape boycott. This is my next installment of the Couch Series with Labrador and friends, and it gives me great pleasure to create music from my home. Thank you to Lauren Meccia for stopping by and playing on her wonderful alto sax. Django, our labrador, was a real gem in this one and as always Brent Cline was wonderful photographic support. Hope you all enjoy and please share….Oh and both Lauren and Brent have websites…laurenmeccia.com and clinedsgn.com…Django does not yet…..

Thanks, Jesse. You still sound great 40 years later. I always loved this song but preferred your rendition over Woody’s. I used it when teaching high school history to compare the Grapes of Wrath to all those people in Burma, China, Viet Nam, etc. who work for the same “man” and from which Americans buy so many products.
