Published on Jun 6, 2012 by TheAlexJonesChannel

Four separate eyewitnesses inside the Westfields Marriott hotel in Chantilly Virginia told London Guardian writer Charlie Skelton that Mitt Romney was in attendance at Bilderberg 2012, suggesting the Republican candidate could be the elite’s pick for the upcoming U.S. presidential election.

“Four eyewitnesses on the hotel staff told me Willard Mitt Romney was here at Bilderberg 2012. My four eyewitnesses place him inside. That’s one more than Woodward and Bernstein used. Romney’s office initially refused to confirm or deny his attendance as Bilderberg is “not public”. They later said it was not him,” writes Skelton.

The London Guardian writer adds that the fact Romney’s name did not appear on the official list of attendees is meaningless. Numerous power brokers, including Bill Gates, were photographed arriving at the event yet were not included on the list of participants, as is routinely the case.

With speculation already raging that Romney’s potential VP — Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels — was already being groomed by Bilderberg cronies, Romney’s appearance at the secretive confab of global power brokers suggests that he is being favored by the elite, who have seemingly lost faith in Barack Obama.

As Skelton noted in a separate report, on Saturday afternoon a limousine arrived at the hotel surrounded by a police motorcade, signaling the arrival of a “heavyweight politician”. Could this have been Mitt Romney? It’s unlikely given the fact that he was appearing at fundraisers on the west coast all weekend, but Romney’s schedule for Thursday, the first day of the Bilderberg meeting, was clear.

An invite to the Bilderberg conference has routinely proven beneficial to future Presidents and Prime Ministers.

Four years ago during a heated battle on the campaign trail, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton gave reporters the slip to attend the 2008 Bilderberg meeting at the same hotel. On precisely the same weekend as the confab was taking place, the Washington Post announced that Hillary was withdrawing from the presidential race and would support Obama.

Bill Clinton and Tony Blair were both groomed by the secretive organization in the early 1990′s before rising to prominence. Portugal’s Pedro Santana Lopes and Jose Socrates attended the 2004 meeting in Stresa, Italy before both going on to become Prime Minster of Portugal.

Bilderberg also played a key role in selecting John Edwards and John Kerry’s running mate in 2004 and Bilderberg luminary James A. Johnson also hand-picked Joe Biden as VP in 2008.

Confirmation that Romney attended Bilderberg 2012 may be hard to come by, but news that the former Governor of Massachusettes email account was compromised by a hacker could offer proof, although no emails have been leaked thus far.

So, was he being crowned, or singing for his supper? Will Mitt Romney follow in the august footsteps of Clinton, Cameron and Blair to have attended Bilderberg and then shortly become leader? Four years ago, Senator Obama shook off his press detail and nipped (many think) into Bilderberg. This exact same hotel.

Tucker: Bilderberg Wants Mitch Daniels As Romney’s VP

Former Prozac pusher becomes elite’s choice pick
Paul Joseph Watson
Infowars.com
Monday, June 4, 2012

According to veteran Bilderberg sleuth Jim Tucker’s source, Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels’ presence at the 2012 Bilderberg Group meeting indicates that he is the elite’s choice pick to become Mitt Romney’s running mate.

According to the source, Bilderberg members are eager to dissuade the Romney camp from choosing Kentucky Senator Rand Paul as VP, fearing that Paul’s constitutionalist stance will act to derail the agenda for increased centralization of power into a system of global governance.

Daniels on the other hand is seen as a safe pair of hands, having been elected to his second term of Governor by a record margin of 18 points. Former Senior Vice President of Eli Lilly and Company, Daniels worked on a public relations campaign to downplay the side-effects of Prozac, helping the company’s profits soar during the mid to late 90′s.

Daniels was rumored to be considering a run for President himself before deciding against it. While publicly endorsing Romney, he has distanced himself from talk of a VP slot but so have all the other candidates.

The race to become Romney’s running mate now appears to be a straight shoot out between Daniels and Marco Rubio, who has also impressed elitists with recent appearances at influential internationalist confabs.

Rubio recently addressed the Council on Foreign Relations, Bilderberg’s sister organization, with a foreign policy speech in New York.

Rubio has repeatedly given speeches advocating military assaults on both Syria and Iran. Given the fact that Syrian National Transitional Council head Bassma Kodmani was present at this weekend’s Bilderberg meeting in Chantilly, Rubio’s views on foreign policy are directly in vogue with Bilderberg power brokers.

As we reported back in April, a story by veteran Washington Post columnist Al Kamen explained how Rubio was looking to “boost his foreign-policy chops” by following around the likes of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton to international summits as a means of building his internationalist credibility.

Kamen more than subtly suggested that Rubio could be a favorite of the Bilderberg Group, which he described as “uber-secret global power brokers”, a collection of financiers, politicians, CEOs, academia and media bigwigs, who routinely have an influence on the U.S. presidential election, picking Barack Obama’s VP in 2008 and John Kerry’s running mate in 2004.
Current betting odds show that Rubio is second favorite at 7/2 to become Romney’s running mate behind junior United States Senator from Ohio Rob Portman. Mitch Daniels is further down the list at 16/1 along with Rand Paul.
According to a Reuters report yesterday, Romney could pick his running mate earlier than usual, with the decision expected a few weeks before the Republican National Convention in August.

Mitt Romney's Disturbed Character Reveals Psychopathic Mindset — He demonstrates a lack of empathy, no remorse or guilt for past assaults or mistreatment, a high degree of narcissism, and a capacity to ceaselessly lie and manipulate to get what he wants.

While Romney may not display the level of psychopathy necessary to be considered diagnosable as a psychopath, he does fit what Silver and Schouten call, “almost a psychopath.” He demonstrates a lack of empathy, no remorse or guilt for past assaults or mistreatment, a high degree of narcissism, and a capacity to ceaselessly lie and manipulate to get what he wants. If there was any doubt, his inability to stop laughing while recalling these events, when others have been harmed, proves this is a man with a highly questionable character.

Mitt Romney’s Disturbed Character Reveals Psychopathic Mindset

Deborah Foster

There are three major patterns of qualities that characterize a psychopath: 1) interpersonal conduct such as dishonesty, narcissism, and arrogance, along with a marked lack of consideration for the rights and well-being of others 2) affective deficits such as lack of empathy or guilt, and 3) impulsiveness or risk-taking. Based on established criteria, psychologists estimate that approximately 1% of the population or 3 million people could be classified as having a psychopathic personality. However, these are people who meet the cutoffs for diagnostic criteria, which make it seem like people either have it or they don’t. Psychopathy doesn’t work that way. It occurs on a continuum with some people having none at all and others having the range from a few tendencies to a full blown diagnosable personality disorder. James Silver, co-author of Almost a Psychopath: Do I (or Does Someone I Know) Have a Problem with Manipulation and Lack of Empathy? explains,

Almost psychopaths differ from true psychopaths not in the types, but, rather, in the frequency and intensity of their remorseless and damaging behaviors.”

[…]

An alarming anecdote shared by Rachel Maddow on her show does point to Romney’s issues with lack of empathy or remorse.

On May 10thMaddow played an excerpt from an interview with Romney in which he relayed a story from his past along with many inappropriate chuckles:

Romney: “I have a few connections with the State of Wisconsin. One of the most humorous I think relates to my father. You may remember, my father, George Romney, was the President of an automobile company called American Motors. And as the President of the company, he decided to close the factory in Michigan and move all the production to Wisconsin…they had a high school band that was leading each of the candidates, and his band did not know how to play the Michigan fight song. It only knew how to play the Wisconsin fight song. So every time they would start playing, “On Wisconsin, On Wisconsin,” my dad’s political people would jump up and down and try to get them to stop because they didn’t want people in Michigan to be reminded that my dad had moved production to Wisconsin.”

This was Mr. Romney’s idea of funny, people losing their jobs and getting upset when being reminded about it.

In the same segment, Maddow discussed two of Romney’s other psychopathic behaviors, the recent revelation that he forcibly held down another teen in high school and cut off his hair as he cried and screamed and the now famous story where Romney strapped his dog to the roof of his car in a kennel for hours in defiance of Massachusetts law as he drove 60 miles per hour. In both cases, she played Romney’s “apologies” for the incidents, in which he laughed inappropriately throughout each.

These incidents and the insincerity of the apologies that followed them provide some of the strongest evidence of his psychopathy.

The biggest single threat to the strategy to sell Newt Gingrich to Republicans as a conservative is the truth. This week, Marianne Gingrich broke her silence and decided to tell America what the real Newt Gingrich is like.

ABC aired the interview on NIGHTLINE Thursday evening and her charge that he sought an “open marriage” with wife, to include his mistress. Gingrich wanted this accommodation with his wife only to avoid another messy divorce which would expose him for the serial philanderer that he was. Her statement that “Newt Gingrich lacks the moral character to serve as President,” is an absolute truth.

Here Comes Newt, Again

SOPA Debate Not Over

HERE COMES NEWT, AGAIN

It’s hard to tell why the Powers That Be (PTB) seem so desperate to topple Mitt Romney as the frontrunner. Although not an insider, Mitt has taken every possible position the establishment wants—he has a neocon foreign policy, is in favor of NDAA and he has even hinted at using the dreaded VAT tax to solve the deficit problem. Only Gingrich could be worse than Romney and that is why the PTB are working overtime to create yet another phony surge for the former Speaker of the House who betrayed conservatives in 1994 due to his secret globalist ties. If they can get him a win in South Carolina they will try to keep him on a roll in Florida and beyond.

Sarah Palin showed her subservience to the PTB yet again this week by endorsing Gingrich, but Gingrich’s ex-wife is making good on her threat to derail his bandwagon with a no-holds-bar killer interview with ABC news exposing Gingrich’s hypocritical dark side. The network attempted to delay airing this devastating indictment until after the South Carolina primary, but a leak forced them to air it Thursday.

As Jon Huntsman and Rick Perry end their campaigns, the establishment is betting everything now on Gingrich or Santorum. Earlier, the kingmakers asked Perry to continue his campaign even after his poor showing in Iowa, not knowing who they would or could try to resurrect against Romney, but now they want him out so the manipulable voters in SC are not split between 3 false conservative—only two. That way Gingrich or Santorum has a better chance at coming out with a win above Romney’s numbers.

Right now, they are pushing for Gingrich more than Santorum, even after the first phony surge for Gingrich failed. This headline from the AP is emblematic of the typical media theme: “Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich is drawing big, enthusiastic crowds and fending off new attacks from GOP front-runner Mitt Romney while reveling in a strong debate performance and a nod from tea party favorite Sarah Palin.” Palin’s endorsement is bound to become the second most stupid thing she has done since joining John McCain.

Ever wonder why we’ve had so many debates this election cycle? In a normal election year, we’d be lucky to have 3 or 4. Now they come almost twice a month, and this week we got two in a week! Of course, they are all run by establishment news machines that have a clear agenda—to promote the latest “flavor of the month” candidate surging against Romney, and evade or embarrass Ron Paul. The first half hour is always spent showcasing whoever they want to promote. These always get the first softball question designed to make them to shine. Ron Paul always gets the token or quirky questions to make him look bad.

Ron Paul is clearly as much of a target of the hosts in these debates as Mitt Romney. The PTB may not want Romney but they can control him if he wins. Ron Paul is the only candidate who is a complete threat to establishment control in government. FoxNews.com, the supposed conservative TV network news made a blatant attempt to evade even mentioning Ron Paul in its Monday debate analysis. Steve Watson of Infowars.com has the story:

“The dirty tricks campaign against GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul reached new heights during the South Carolina debate last night, with virtual exclusion from the first 40 minutes of the program, poisonous questions in the second half, and a cringe inducing situation during the post debate analysis where Fox pundits were forced to admit that Paul had completely wiped the floor with the other candidates.

During the post debate commentary, Fox reporter John Roberts blatantly excluded Paul from the charts and graphs he presented representing feedback from viewers. The results of Twitter surveys on which candidate had most accurately answered questions and who had performed the best were displayed with Ron Paul’s name nowhere to be seen.

“Almost one hour later, Roberts was called upon to go over the results one more time, after floods of complaints from viewers asking why Paul had been left out. ‘John, you caused a fury in my world.’ Fox anchor Harris Faulkner began. ‘You left off Ron Paul.’ she added, before Roberts attempted to slime out of the fact that he had totally excluded Paul from his results tally by saying that because Ron Paul won by huge margins in every category, it was unnecessary to report on it!

“Roberts then went through each debate topic again with Paul added to the graphic. As he explained the result Roberts downplayed and skipped over Ron Paul’s figures in every category, causing Harris Faulkner to interject. ‘John, can I stop you right there because I’m getting real time feedback.’ Faulkner said. ‘Ron Paul did not just do well, he did the best from that chart. I just want to be fair because people are watching for this.’ she added.”

“The fact that Ron Paul was the outright winner of the debate was remarkable, given the fact that the moderators had done their utmost to exclude, smear and misrepresent the Congressman earlier in the night. The opening portion of the debate was exclusively reserved for Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum [see what I mean about promoting the establishment favorites first?] to attack frontrunner Mitt Romney in an atmosphere that more resembled The Jerry Springer show than a coherent political debate.

“Refraining from joining in with such pantomime ridiculousness, Ron Paul patiently waited to be addressed by the moderators… and waited… and waited. Indeed, during the first 40 minutes Ron Paul was only asked one question, and that was about ‘scathing attacks’ on the other candidates in campaign ads [as if the others weren’t doing that]. Paul succinctly noted that he believed pointing out legitimate flaws in the other candidates voting records was fair game.

“As the exclusion of Paul continued, it even triggered a commercial break discussion between the Fox political panel about how Paul was being sidelined. Analyst Ed Rollins commented, “I thought Paul placed second in New Hampshire and was effectively second in Iowa – but they’ve got him standing way over on the side. [Even the placement of candidates on the stage is scripted]”

“When Paul was finally asked further questions, they were so leading and laced with underlying venom it defied belief. With almost every question the Congressman had to begin his answer by correcting the moderators for grossly distorting his position on multiple issues.

“Firstly, Paul had to once again explain that there is a significant difference between ‘defense spending’ and Pentagon waste, and that he is not about to decimate military funding, as the moderators suggested. Paul said to thunderous applause. ‘I want to cut military money. I don’t want to cut defense money,’ Paul said. ‘I want to bring the troops home.’”

The contrast between the Washingtonian principles of Paul and his neocon counterparts is vast. Conservatives were horrified as Romney proudly answered that he would have signed the NDAA giving government authority to indefinitely detain people aligned with al Qaeda and even said they don’t have rights. He pontificated upon the old neocon propaganda about “violent jihadists” having declared war on us, and that’s supposed to justify losing our civil liberties.

This growing skewed philosophy of terrorism justifying all manner of government power was illuminated by William Grigg in his latest column at Freedominourtime.com: “Santorum, who is regarded by some misguided conservatives as a champion of the pro-life cause, warned those who doubt that the U.S. government would assassinate civilian scientists should take heed to the way it treats American citizens designated enemies of the State: ‘When people say, `You can’t go out and assassinate people’ — well, tell that to al-Awlaki….We’ve done it. We’ve done it to an American citizen [he bragged].’

“According to Newt Gingrich – whose General Urko act drove the assembled Republicans into a simian frenzy of bloodlust – it is ‘irrational’ of Paul to insist that there are limits on the government’s powers of discretionary killing. Elaborating on that idea in a January 18 interview with South Carolina pastor Kevin Boling, Gingrich asserted that Dr. Paul’s insistence on applying the Golden Rule to foreign policy demonstrated that he had absorbed the ‘anti-American, self-hating attitude of the American Left.’

[…]

While Palin endorsed Gingrich, numerous South Carolina legislators came out for Ron Paul as the Denver Libertarian Examiner reported: “3 Conservative Senators, [including] leading SC State Senator, Tom Davis (R-Beaufort) endorsement on Sunday, collectively send a very big message to the people of South Carolina and the US by coming together and giving a combined endorsement that immediately propels the Ron Paul campaign into ‘serious contender’ status.”

The biggest single threat to the strategy to sell Newt Gingrich to Republicans as a conservative is the truth. This week, Marianne Gingrich broke her silence and decided to tell America what the real Newt Gingrich is like. Her interview was with ABC and they have been trying to bury the story ever since. Fortunately Matt Drudge got wind of it and is trying to shame ABC into airing the interview:

The Drudge report: “Marianne Gingrich has said she could end her ex-husband’s career with a single interview. Earlier this week, she sat before ABCNEWS cameras, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned. She spoke to ABCNEWS reporter Brian Ross for two hours, and her explosive revelations are set to rock the trail.

“But now a ‘civil war’ has erupted inside of the network, an insider claims, on exactly when the confession will air!.. A decision was tentatively made to air the interview next Monday, after all votes have been counted. Gingrich canceled a press conference on Wednesday to deal with the matter. ‘He believes that what he says in public and how he lives don’t have to be connected,’ Marianne Gingrich, Newt’s wife of 18 years, explained to ESQUIRE last year.”

The Open Marriage charge was brought up in the debate last night, giving Gingrich a chance to give a loud denunciation of the media. Gingrich has used this technique before with great success. Conservative audiences are rightly angry with media bias, and so switching the attack from himself to the media always generates applause. But he perjured himself in the end with a flat out denial that the conversation ever too place. If South Carolinians believe Gingrich over his wife after seeing that interview, then there is little hope of them making the right choice.

Romney made a major tactical mistake by acceding to demands to show his tax returns, even though delaying such to a point if and when he gets the nomination. No person ought to do this on principle. Tax returns are way too private for individuals of wealth to be forced to reveal. He should have taken the high ground and said no–it’s a private matter. I am personally glad that Romney was able to structure his income to fall under the capital gains tax rate of 15%. Deriding him for that is simply building more class warfare in the US.

Only Ron Paul got it right on taxes during the debate. When asked “What is the appropriate tax rate Americans should pay?” Romney said 24% and Paul said 0%. In other words, abolish it.

Contributions should be revealed, but even those are confusing and misleading. OpenSecrets.org provides profiling of where contributions come from for each candidate. Conservative pundits have made much about the fact that all the big banks and investment firms have backed Romney. Wait, but they are also backing Gingrich, and Santorum—everybody but Ron Paul.

But even that doesn’t tell the whole story. While Romney’s campaign for 2012 lists $376k from Goldman Sachs, this isn’t donations from the company itself, it’s from individual brokers. Goldman brokers gave Obama $1,2M during his campaign, so you have to compare the candidate’s numbers side by side to get the full story.

It is also noteworthy that employees of the big banks, big corporations, and big investment houses back all of the establishment candidates, and Congressmen, whether Republicans or Democrats. But they don’t support Ron Paul. He only gets contributions from the little guy. That should tell you who they don’t want and who we should be voting for.

But on other issues, Romney had no high ground to retreat to. The latest charge is that Romney accepted Federal pension bailouts for a steel company that went bankrupt during his tenure at Bain Capital. The bankruptcy triggered the federal pension insurance fund to kick in. He also got an $10B debt forgiveness decree for Bain Capital just as he entered the firm. All of this makes Romney’s denouncing of federal bank bailouts a bit hypocritical.

[…]

The Third Party question continues to plague the establishment. One subscriber wrote, “Will Ron Paul remain [within] the party confines, apply his capital leverage at the convention or bolt and go as an Independent/Libertarian? If he exercises the latter, the pundits generally agree upon a Ross Perot scenario1992. But this time around Ron Paul actually stands a solid chance to become the next President on a third party ticket.”

In an honest election, this would be true. Ron Paul’s core support is now above 20%. The Republican support is only 27% of the nation, and Democrats hold only 31% and many of them don’t vote. That means in a three-way race, for the first time since the Whigs lost their status as a major party, we have the opportunity to bust the two party system wide open. So don’t pass off lightly that an independent candidacy would be suicide. The ire of a substantial minority of Americans is so hot against the establishment, that this may well be our greatest opportunity to stage a political rebellion.

Author and political commentator Joel Skousen gives an in-depth discussion on how the election process is controlled by the establishment, with a particular focus on the 2012 election and the co-opted Tea Party movement. Skousen gives a detailed explanation of how he thinks the 2012 election will play out, with either Newt Gingrich or Sarah Palin emerging as the victorious Republican candidate.

Looking back to 2008, Skousen notes how Rudy Giuliani was promoted early on as one of the top Republican candidates when in fact he was a cross-dressing hardcore liberal. Judging from the poll numbers that Giuliani was going down in flames, the establishment had a big problem on their hands, especially given the candidacy of Ron Paul, and it was then that six major newspapers endorsed John McCain even though he was polling at only 2-3 per cent.

Knowing that McCain did not have a good record with conservatives, he was reviled in some quarters for promoting amnesty for illegal immigrants under the Bush administration, Sarah Palin was brought in to make conservatives bite the bullet and acquiesce to having John McCain be the candidate. Palin was picked because she would be very easy to manipulate, explains Skousen, and although initially Palin proved difficult to influence, she did finally succumb. Palin is now used to co-opt the Tea Party movement, and will be just as easily manipulated as was George W. Bush if she ever becomes President.

Here’s my 2012 presidential ticket

[By Joseph Farah – ed.]

[…]

I thought I would put together my own little “dream ticket” for 2012.

It’s easy to get discouraged by some of the big-name, media frontrunners.

I’m concerned, for instance, about Sarah Palin’s eagerness to endorse John McCain in his Arizona primary race versus the clearly better J.D. Hayworth. I’m also concerned about Palin’s decision to endorse Carly Fiorina over the clearly superior Chuck DeVore in California. [She did the same thing in Texas, promoting Bilderberg attendee Rick Perry over the clearly superior Debra Medina (though Farah probably doesn’t like her openness to 9/11 truth) – ed.] I also worry about her squishiness on illegal immigration. [But she is plenty pro-war for Farah – ed.]

Then there’s Mitt Romney, whom I have described as the worst possible president to follow Obama. Romney is an impostor. If he wins in 2012, he will roll back none of the Obama initiatives.

So who else is out there?

[…]

If we had to vote today for president and vice president and could choose anyone for those positions, I can tell you who would get my write-in votes – Sen. Jim DeMint and Rep. Michele Bachmann.

REBELLION BREWING IN DEMOCRATIC AND REPUBLICAN RANKS

The untold story emerging from the Super Tuesday primaries is not that McCain has the Republican nomination almost wrapped up, or that the Democrats are evenly split in their support for Obama and Clinton.  The real story is that the manipulation of the election process has become so obvious to the thinking portion of each party that a latent rebellion is brewing. More and more people are cynical and angry over media bias, carefully timed big name endorsements that sway ignorant voters, and back room party deals (yet to come) that are specifically aimed at thwarting the ever-growing dissatisfaction of voters with the hollow promises of change.  Those that spend a considerable amount of time pondering the issues and candidate positions (both real and feigned) are in the minority of each party.  But, they are at least twice as active as passive and manipulated voters–and they don’t like what they see ahead.  Is this growing rebellion enough to stop the establishment process of limiting our choice to Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum?  Probably not, at least not yet, but dissatisfaction levels are growing so much that if the establishment forces John McCain and Hillary Clinton upon the nation, an independent challenge is probable. This week I’ll talk about the options.

Disgraceful! Romney: “I sure am laughing at Ron Paul”

From: Jones Report

WWBA 1040AM NewsTalk host, Mark Larsen, based in Tampa Bay, FL, snapped at Mitt Romney for laughing at Ron Paul and his policies. “Right there, he just lost my vote,” Larsen told listeners on the day of the Florida primary.

Larsen then declared he would be voting for Ron Paul despite his chances of becoming president because he’s “had it with these elitist f-‘s,” choking back profanity in response to Romney’s comments.

“You know this nervous chuckling and mocking of a guy who speaks the truth. The man who told you the truth more than any other in those debates– who wasn’t afraid to make enemies and tell the truth– was Ron Paul. And they laughed at him,” Larsen ranted.

“I sure am laughing at Ron Paul, I gotta tell you,” Romney told the NewsTalk host. “Anybody who says we gotta get rid of the CIA and FBI and that the reason we’re attacked by jihadists is because of us is a guy who deserves a little bit of humor to come his way.”

A furious Larsen said, “Keep laughing, Mitt. Talk to you later.”

“After hearing him chuckle like that, I’m going straight to that voting booth this morning and voting for Ron Paul,” Larsen proclaimed.

“It’s not funny. It’s absolutely not funny. I’ve got over 4,000 dead soldiers because of Iraq, which was ill conceived– the premise was wrong; they lied. I’ve got over 20,000 injured coming back. I’ve got a $1 trillion blown on that debacle, and he’s laughing about it,” Larsen said about Romney.

PULLING STRINGS FOR SENATOR McCAIN

The US political circus is an amazing, if not agonizing, show to watch. First, we saw Rudy Giuliani, the establishment’s pre-election favorite (only because the media said so) go from front runner status to a disastrous showing in the primaries–garnering less votes than Rep. Ron Paul, who was systematically denied any meaningful media coverage at all. It appears the public is either fickle or the media polls were just plain lying–perhaps both. Then we saw John McCain with almost no support suddenly rise to front runner status after a barrage of big name newspaper and personality endorsements so unanimous that there had to have existed some guiding hand. The establishment boost for McCain is still ongoing in a big way and is intended to gain McCain a majority of delegates before the convention convenes–which would eliminate a brokered convention where deals and concession have to be made in order to gain that majority. In an up or down vote between McCain or Romney, without Huckabee to draw away votes from Romney, McCain would lose. That’s what the king makers are trying to avoid by manipulating the public during the primaries. It’s time to let America know more about the real McCain. Believe me, he is no hero.

Pastor Baldwin: Pastors are the Main Problem in America

From Chuck Baldwin’s, 1/29/08 News with Views article:
Why Are Ron Paul’s Supporters So Angry?

[…]

In addition, I can even understand whatever anger and exasperation Ron Paul’s supporters feel regarding my fellow evangelical believers. Today’s Christians–and especially our pastors–have become little more than toadies for the establishment elite. They apparently have never read our U.S. Constitution, Declaration of Independence, or Bill of Rights. They are seemingly oblivious to our great American history and heritage. They seem to lack the most elementary understanding of even the most basic American principles.

For example, it makes absolutely no sense that Christian pastors would embrace the sudden pro-life candidacy of Mitt Romney and reject the proven, twenty-year pro-life record of Ron Paul. It makes no sense that evangelical Christians would embrace the pro-illegal amnesty, pro-McCain/Feingold, pro-No-Child-Left-Behind, pro-gun control John McCain and reject the proven, twenty-year no-amnesty, pro-freedom, anti-No-Child-Left-Behind, pro-Second Amendment record of Ron Paul. It makes absolutely no sense that Christians would fall for Mr. Big Government himself, Mike Huckabee, and reject the champion of limited government, Ron Paul.

Beyond that, how is it that pastors and evangelicals cannot see through the GOP’s complicity in helping to establish a Luciferian New World Order? How can they be so blind and dumb regarding the global machinations of the Council on Foreign Relations? How can they not understand and reject the philosophy emanating from the Trilateral Commission and Bilderburgers?

Ask the average pastor and Christian about the CFR, the Trilateralists, or the Bilderburgers and they just stare into space. They are absolutely clueless. Ask them about the burgeoning NAFTA superhighway, North American Union, or Amero and they look stupefied. Again, they are absolutely clueless. And, yes, I am angry about it. I am saddened and angered at the lack of knowledge, perception, and discernment demonstrated by my Christian brethren.

I believe with all my heart that if the pastors and Christian people of America would come off their high horse and start supporting the principles of liberty, the U.S. Constitution, and limited government, not only would there be a rebirth of freedom in America, there would be a spiritual revival as well.

As it is, freedom-loving people cannot see past the ignorance, elitism, and partisan phoniness of modern Christians in order that they might see Christ. The Scripture plainly says, “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” (II Corinthians 3:17)

When America’s Colonial preachers and Christian people fought for liberty and independence, God gave us two Great Awakenings. I believe another Great Revival would come to America, if our Christians and pastors would stand on their hind legs and once again fight for liberty and independence. And, yes, I am also angry that they will not do that either.

Ron Paul is the Only Candidate Who Can Avert a Depression

In the face of this week’s market meltdown—which has been called the worst financial crisis since WWII—the current crop of U.S. presidential candidates are preaching a hodgepodge of trite economic boosterism and disastrous governmental intervention. Unsurprisingly, the elephant in the room is Ron Paul, the political leper of anointed establishment politics, who just happens to have a massive, growing, devoted following capable of breaking fundraising records in support of him, and who has real plans to avert the global depression which is almost certainly on the way.

Romney has praised the Federal Reserve’s panic cut in the federal funds rate by 75 basis points. The cut, however, has earned round condemnation from most delegates to the World Economic Forum, who fear the move is prolonging the inevitable correction of an over-inflated marketplace.

Obama believes the severe economic woes—the symptom of hundreds of trillions of dollars of under-regulated high-risk financial instruments known as derivatives, a fiat currency, and the staggering debt and deficit the federal government is creating in foreign adventurism—can be solved by “saying to banks that they have to invest in their communities.”

McCain has been shamelessly trumpeting the old political hogwash that despite the crashing market, spiraling currency and signs of crisis in some of the largest institutional lenders in the country, “the fundamental underpinnings of our economy are strong.”

All agree that Bush’s harebrained scheme to increase inflation by printing money and handing it out in rebate cheques—a scheme with questionable short-term benefits and no long-term benefits—is a great idea.

All, that is, except for Paul. Paul has spoken and written at length about the inflation tax, ….

[Skousen] Election Central: Romney—The One to Stop

ELECTION CENTRAL: ROMNEY–THE ONE TO STOP

With a solid win in the Michigan primary, supposedly a “make it or break it” contest for Romney, the establishment is now going to have it’s hands full trying to stop the surge for Romney. The media claimed Romney’s grasp of the economy was what propelled him to victory in Michigan. Not so. It was just bad, old-fashioned pandering to a depressed economic area, promising federal help-though avoiding the word “bailout.” Romney is not taking the high road of a Ron Paul, who would never stoop to promising benefits. This, sadly, makes Ron Paul less electable and easier for the establishment to dismiss. But Romney is playing the establishment game with the best, and that is the establishment’s problem. As Romney tries to appeal to a wide audience, the election insiders are having to promote 3 different candidates, in different ways and at different times, in order to stop various aspects of the Romney appeal.

Skousen: Election Manipulation in Full Swing

ELECTION MANIPULATION IN FULL SWING

We live in a fractured society pitting a few million ideologically savvy people against a growing majority of ill-informed voters whose ideas are manipulated by the media. Almost all voters are dissatisfied with the status quo, but often for the wrong reasons. The majority keeps being lured away from limited government by the promise of greater federal health and education benefits as if that were the solution to galloping inflation. In fact, it is the problem-not the solution.

Predictably, they always vote for change, but change never comes. This is because we are rarely presented with a candidate who understands the totality of change necessary. When a candidate like Ron Paul emerges, who really understands the problems and proposes the inevitable tough solutions, he is labeled as a kook, or extremist,…but mostly ignored. About 2-5% of the nation is able to see through it all, but as we found out in the New Hampshire primary, it’s not enough to overtake the momentum of ignorance within the majority. The system is rigged for secrecy, and takes advantage of the average American’s dependence upon the half-truths and distortions we are fed by the establishment media, public education and conventional political theory. Thus, the typical voter holds an almost infinite variety of ignorant and irrational ideas about both cause and effect of our national crises and thus becomes easy prey to false solutions and media manipulation. We saw all these things play out in New Hampshire this week, including some last minute media manipulation and vote fraud–signs that the Powers That Be (PTB) are having to scramble to control this race.

Skousen: My Analysis of the Iowa Caucus Race

World Affairs Brief, January 4, 2008. Commentary and Insights on a Troubled World.

Copyright Joel Skousen. Partial quotations with attribution permitted. Cite source as Joel Skousen’s World Affairs Brief <http://www.worldaffairsbrief.com>

MY ANALYSIS OF THE IOWA CAUCUS RACE

For the Democrats, Obama came in first with 39%, Edwards second with 30% and Clinton third with 29%–a major embarrassment. For the Republicans, Gov. Huckabee received 34%, and Gov. Romney was second with 25%. Thompson and McCain were in a tie for distant third at 13% and Ron Paul finally burst out of the single digits with 10% –not what his ardent supporters hoped for but certainly a respectable showing considering the media blackout against him and his anti-establishment cause. The big losers were Hillary Clinton and Rudolph Giuliani. Although both were promoted all year long by the mainstream press as front runners, they were clearly not popular in Iowa. It was also clear that the Des Moines Register, which tried to sway the race in favor of McCain and Clinton, is out of touch with it’s own constituency.

As I have pointed out in recent briefs, we are front and center watching a major case of media manipulation. Huckabee’s strong showing in Iowa was almost solely due to his ministerial attractiveness to rural Christian conservatives in Iowa, and even that would not have gained any notice without a major media campaign to promote him out of nowhere, as they made a major issue out of Romney’s Mormon faith–which predictable galvanized some evangelical Christians against Romney and for Huckabee.

However, Huckabee’s God and Big Government campaign has little pull in other larger states where the number of secular voters is much stronger than in Iowa. He will get a boost in New Hampshire from the media label as a “winner,” but it is doubtful he will break the 20% support level. Before Iowa, he was at 10%. It is interesting to note the grouping of Iowa counties that voted for Romney were concentrated around the cities where he visited personally –indicating that he was successful in converting a majority in urban areas which had a chance to meet him. Huckabee’s support was almost exclusively found in the small rural counties which rely on the news media and what fellow church-goers are saying to form political opinions. That will not translate to a winning percentage in other states with larger urban populations.

McCain wouldn’t even be in this race if it were not for the massive media support he receive just recently –with six major newspapers endorsing him in an attempt to boost him over Romney (when it became apparent that Giuliani might not be able to sustain his front-runner status). This strategy of boosting McCain to cut off Romney is probably not going to work either. McCain’s poor showing in Iowa, despite the Register’s endorsement, does not bode well. If McCain doesn’t beat Romney in New Hampshire (currently in a dead heat), the Powers That Be will be looking for another strategy. They’ve still got spoiler Michael Bloomberg in the wings. Using a major liberal newspaper in NH to editorialize against Romney (“Anyone but Romney” without endorsing anyone else) suspiciously smacks of media manipulation on a grand scale. But New Hampshire voters can be pretty independent when they want, so the results next week should be interesting.

Ron Paul continues to build support in the “Live or Die Free” state, so it will be interesting to see how much higher than his current 7% polling numbers he is able to reach. I fear that the false media coverage promoting Huckabee as an anti-establishment conservative (which is false) may keep last minute voters from switching to Paul. It won’t help that the Fox media moguls are intent upon keeping Ron Paul out of the New Hampshire Republican debates–even though Paul polls higher in NH than Fred Thompson, who is invited. ABC News is hinting that they may use the same double digit national polling criteria in their debate selection process as well. So, it is important that Ron Paul breach the 10% mark in New Hampshire. The establishment really doesn’t want the electorate to have an anti-interventionist, anti-big government, anti-globalist choice in this election.

Huckabee Jokes About Shooting Romney for Airing Negative Ads

Cut to footage of Huckabee speaking with reporters in the field at the conclusion of his hunt, still dressed in field gear.

MIKE HUCKABEE: It proved that you can shoot, and if someone really messes with you with negative campaign ads, they just need to be prepared.

COWAN: It was a dig at Mitt Romney, who he’s edged out in the polls here, but statistically still a toss-up between the two.

[…]

Yet another odd statment from Huck, and more of the MSM laughing it off. The CBS Early Show this morning played a clip of Huckabee out in the field. A reporter can be heard asking “Governor, you like to speak in metaphors. What’s the metaphor here?” Huckabee responds “don’t get in my way.” CBS had introduced the clip by calling it an example of Huckabee’s “folksy wit.”

A bit later, Early Show host Russ Mitchell interviewed Huckabee. Referring to the clip, Mitchell said “of course you were teasing,” and was about to move to another matter, when Huckabee interrupted him: “No Russ, I wasn’t teasing. I was serious: don’t get in my way.”
