Governments are moving to ban cash transactions. It starts with large payments but, gradually, the size is reduced, eventually to zero. Europe and Mexico are in the forefront, but the US and UK will not be far behind. [The official reason is to thwart terrorism and crime, but the real motivation is to force all economic transactions through a computerized clearing system where every exchage can be tracked. Political dissidents will be denied access to the system and, thereby, will have no means for survival. Economic control over people is the goal.]

US: Pentagon seeks approval for pre-emptive strike policy on the Internet. [That means it will not simply protect the Internet from an Internet cyber-attack but will initiate one of its own. If it wants to close down the Internet or control who has access to it, all they have to do is say they are making a pre-emptive strike against terrorists – like the Bush Administration made a pre-emptive strike against Saddam Hussein and his non-existent WMDs.] Raw Story 2010 Aug 29 (Cached)
Confirmed: Corexit is still being sprayed in the Gulf despite government denial. [Why should that be? The oil was dispersed (not removed but dispersed to the bottom) long ago, so what is the motive? Manufacturers in China and India have been caught scamming the environmental movement. They deliberately produce large quantities of “greenhouse gas” and then, based on the terms of the UN Kyoto Treaty, collect billions of dollars from countries like the US and UK for reducing their output. US: Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals that covers California and 8 other Western states recently ruled that the government can secretly plant a GPS on your car – without a warrant – and track you everywhere you go. The ruling said you do not have any reasonable expectation of privacy in your own driveway and no reasonable expectation that the government isn’t tracking your movements. Meanwhile, the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia ruled the opposite, that GPS tracking for an extended period of time is an invasion of privacy and requires a warrant. This issue is expected to end up in the Supreme Court for a final decision. Yahoo Posted 2010 Aug 28 (Cached)

Keith Olbermann, TV commentator on MSNBC, delivers a powerful defense of the right to build a Muslim community center near Ground Zero. [The media and major political parties are building up this issue as an emotional distraction from far more important matters that should be the focus of public debate. Olbermann is correct on this issue, but it is too bad he is aligned with Left-Wing collectivism and only speaks out against Right-Wing collectivism. He was Bush’s constant critic (and rightly so in most cases) but now that Obama is President and is continuing the Bush agenda, Olbermann is virtually silent. He is a cheer leader for the Democrat Party and a gatekeeper of the phony Right/Left paradigm. Having said that, his discourse on this issue is brilliant and worth watching.] YouTube 2010 Aug 20
