South Africa Food Chain Collapse: South African riots by blacks have shut down exports of sugar cane and citrus as farms burn. Former ANC president Jacob Zuma, a communist, is in jail for contempt of court after refusing to appear at his corruption trial. This has led to widespread protests and civil unrest throughout that country. Rampant looting and arson has left at least 215 people dead and created chaos that is preventing food from getting to market and interfering with exports. In the midst of food shortages looters have been pillaging trucks carrying produce and other goods while sugar cane trucks are being hijacked, mills threatened, and farms set ablaze by arsonists.
Federal Judge Stops Biden DACA Amnesty. Liberals are up in arms over the decision by a federal judge blocking the Biden administration from reinstating the amnesty program known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) for new applicants, although the program may continue for those illegal aliens already in it. This is a very important court decision in slowing the trend toward an authoritarian executive. It says that a president cannot simply ignore existing immigration law outlining who may legally enter the country and grant administrative amnesty (and government benefits) to whomever he wants. Democrats Trying to Add Amnesty to Infrastructure Bill. Sen. Lindsay Graham says adding amnesty to infrastructure bill could be “dumbest idea” in the history of the Senate. “If you give one person legal status there will be a run on our border like you have never seen before…the dumbest idea in the history of the Senate, the history of the White House. It will lead to the breakdown of law and order beyond what you see today,” Graham told “The Ingraham Angle.”
