“Anytime I got a chance to express the overall philosophy of limited government and sticking to principles and the Constitution, the people responded,” he said, referring to debate audience members. “The frustration to me last night was some of the very important things that are my key issues … they almost seemed to not want me to talk about. I really didn’t have much chance to talk about foreign policy and they asked other people about the Federal Reserve.”
Paul chuckled, then continued:
“I really understand what they do, but it’s still a little bit annoying because those are the things that I want to emphasize,” he said. “But I guess in some ways, when others start using some of my language, maybe that’s a type of a victory as well.”
