I can appreciate and accept the idea of environmental conservation being used as a front for globalism, but something I’ve noticed is that many Christians seem to actually hate environmental conservation *itself*, even if it is genuinely motivated.
The justification is apparently this: according to popular interpretation, the bible has given humans free reign to use and exploit the earth and its inhabitants in any way we wish without regard for the effects. Underlying this lofty excuse is of course simple self-interest and laziness.
I think that anyone who truly believes that God created the earth and the plants and animals upon it would treat the earth with much more respect than they currently do. This planet is God’s creation, a work of art, and not a grocery store in New Orleans post-Katrina to be ransacked and pillaged.
I brought up this subject with you once, this “anti-environmental” stance by many Christians, a stance that you occasionally appear to take. You mentioned that you would address the subject, but if you have I think I missed it.
