FlourideGate: Amy Demboski was on the Mike Porcaro Show today explaining what happened with Mayor Bronson and the fluoride incident. According to Amy, AWWU’s general manager, Mark Corcentino had asked Mayor Bronson to turn it off. Employees also expressed health and safety concerns.

The code wasn’t violated, which ADN’s article accused Bronson of doing.

Also, Mayor Bronson did not direct the police department to leave the Assembly chambers or to rescue a patient from the hospital, as has been claimed.

There was also no order given to turn off the Assembly’s video feed, Amy says.

“The mayor’s first rule is ‘do not lie.’ We don’t lie. He says that all the time.”
