US: Two million homes that already have been foreclosed are being held by banks. ALL SWIMMERS ARE HEADED TO THE WATERFALL
2011 Apr 15 from Anthony Trupiano
Mr. Griffin,
My wife and I just listened to a webinar by Harry Dent last night where he stated precious metals were at an all-time high and would correct in a big way, as he feels the dollar will rally because the world has no where else to go with their investments, what do you think?
GEG’S REPLY:
Hello Anthony.
None of us have a crystal ball, but my expectation is slightly different. It is true that conventional American investors likely will stay with dollars because they have few options. There already is a move to create a global fiat currency, and that is where conventional investments probably will go in the long run. Smart wealth will choose gold and silver.
If the dollar rallies, it will only be by comparison to other fiat currencies. All of them are declining in purchasing power. When one currency looks better than the others, it is only because the others are worse. In that scenario, it is meaningless to talk about a rally. It is like holding a swimming contest in the Niagara River in which the swimmers are going against the current, but all of them are being dragged closer to the waterfall. There would be no point in betting on which one will swim faster. They all are doomed.

SKULL AND BONES FLIES FROM THE MAST OF THE U.S. SHIP OF STATE
Posted 2011 Apr 11 from David McElroy
Mr. Griffin;
Regarding your boxed illustration about one out of four people being “mentally unbalanced”, I might note that about one out of four people in America are government employees, politicians, bureaucrats, etc.! Perhaps you might append that factoid to the graphic illustration. Government service draws sociopaths and psychopaths, tyrants, thieves, and gangsters, not to mention slackers, moochers, and liars. The very nature of government breeds a parasitically inhumane criminal mindset. The “Skull and Bones” flies from the mast of Uncle Sam’s ship of state. Pirates are at the helm, manning the guns against us!

RUN-ON-THE-LIBRARY FOR CREATURE
2011 Apr 11 from K.J.S.
I want to congratulate you on a remarkable achievement with “The Creature from Jekell Island.” I check a copy out of our local library, after having to wait for about six weeks, because they only have one copy. You book is checked out constantly. I finally got it, read about half way before I had to return it because there were 13 requests for the book. So I returned it diligently, being the good citizen that I am, and started searching the book stores for my own copy, because I knew that I would have to have my own copy. Border’s Book Stores are closing, as I’m sure you are aware, and so I found 8 copies on the
shelves, but they were only 20% off. Knowing that there would be more discounts coming soon, I waited, and monitored the inventory every few days. In only 8 or 10 days, six of the eight were gone. They were 30% off at that time, so I bought one.
I am studying “The Creature from Jekell Island” as though it were a college course with notebook in hand. It is a fabulously rich text full of vital financial information about the truth of how fiat money really hurts a society. I am personally enriched for having read this book and I sincerely want to thank you from the bottom of my heart that you should care so much about future generations.
I’ve just started exploring your website. Great job! Unbelievable really in its depth and quality of material. I’m like a sponge right now, but I’ll be back at you with some ideas I have for growing freedom-force.org.

DOES ZEITGEIST COMPARE RELIGIONS OR ATTACK THEM?
2011 Apr 8 from Brendan Smith
Dear Mr. Griffin,
Upon reading the newsletter I came across the part about Zeitgeist, and I just would like to give some of my input on that part. Don’t take this as an attack against you, just wanted to get some of my ideas across. So as you mention the first part of Zeitgeist “attacks” religion, now I don’t see this as an attack; its more so a comparison between all the religions in the world. He merely is showing us what we already know just in a side by side fashion and easy to understand. Now don’t get me wrong, people will believe in whatever religion they would like and I have no problem with that, I just want the truth, and that’s what Zeitgeist promotes.
GEG’S REPLY:
Hello Brendan.
Thanks for your response to my analysis of Zeitgeist. If you will watch the program again, you will see that it is far from an objective study in comparative religion. There are numerous segments that deride those with religious convictions in the most insulting and, in some cases, vulgar terms imaginable. If this is not an attack on religion, I don’t know what would be. I have no objection to someone expressing why they accept or reject any specific point of theology, but I object to any effort to ridicule or denigrate those who hold a different view. You have said that all you want is the truth, and I am with you on that 100%. The truth is that Zeitgeist is not content to let people believe in whatever religion they like. It is at war with all religion, and that is yet one more characteristic of collectivism in general and Marxism in particular. Rulers want all loyalty to the state. Religions dilute that unity and, therefore, must be destroyed. It has nothing to do with religion at all. It’s all about controlling people.

MAINSTREAM NEWS ON IVORY COAST IS CIA PROPAGANDA
2011-04-09 from John Peterson
I happen to be privileged to inside information about the situation in Ivory Coast, and the reports that you are linking are State Department fiction.. Outarra, the man the CIA (aka Associated Press) says won the election is an IMF stooge that the French/NWO have tried to install to oversee their corporate interests. Obama has sent him $12 million of “aid”, and that money has been used directly to hire Liberian and other mercenaries who are committing atrocities that would make the Nazis blush. I’ll give you one example: they tie ropes around 3-year-old and younger babies, sling them around, and smash them against a wall so that their heads explode. They are also tying people to logs and putting them into fires, and they are dropping children into wells. Completely demonic. Al Jazeera has begun to report these atrocities and is showing actual video.
I believe that Ivory Coast is a very strategic battleground for the fight against the NWO, and I urge you to take time out to research Gbagbo, Outarra and the decades-long struggle that Ivory Coast has endured. Ivorians are a shining example of courage that Americans would do well to emulate.

OBSERVATIONS AND PREDICTIONS FOR GRIFFIN’S APPEARANCE ON THE GLENN BECK SHOW
2011 Mar 4 from R. Michael Huff, rhuff@nw3c.org
G. Edward Griffin’s appearance on the Glenn beck show was a pleasant surprise, and I was very pleased with what transpired on the show, although I do have some reservations about Beck’s motivations, as well as Beck’s other guest, Mark from the Cato Institute. Before I talk about these reservations, I want to identify briefly what struck me as praiseworthy about the show. First, Griffin received a lot of playing time – more than I expected. Second, Beck, at the beginning of the show, gave a fairly accurate history lesson on the Fed’s origins.
Of course, there was that awkward moment when Griffin began to talk about the elites’ main strategy of gaining control of the means of mass communication – e.g., the major news outlets. Beck stiffened. “Whoa, whoa…” he interrupted, “what do you mean? Give me some examples” [my paraphrase]. Beck obviously sensed an indirect attack on his employer. Griffin went on to explain … (More)

USING REFERENDUMS TO TRAIN ELECTED OFFICIALS
2011 Apr 3 from Mervyn Cloe
It may not work everywhere but here in Oregon the petition process provides some hope. I will skip past the Initiative Petition right to the Referendum, which offers a way to counter Ordinances that may not be in the best interest of the public.
This requires organization, but could be very effective. For me a Referendum Petition only must list the Ordinance that is opposed, by enacting number. The referendum must be filed within 30 days and it only requires 10% of the registered voters of a recent election, as signers.
Once the petition is filed, the Ordinance cannot be enacted until voted on in a regular election. If it does not receive a positive vote it is shelved. This is an ideal way to “train” elected officials. So you can forget about filing divisive recall petitions and concentrate on qualifying future candidates!

SORRY TO SAY GRIFFIN IS RIGHT
2011 Mar 30 from James Sugden
Dear Mr. Griffin,
How did your “Creature from Jekyll Island” get to its 5th edition and I’ve never heard of it? An EXTRAORDINARY work!!! I could hardly put it down. I’ve spent my career as VP Finance and CFO for a number of companies, and I’ve now semi-retired to a full-time position teaching accounting at a California Community College.
I thought I had a pretty good handle on money, banking, and finance. But, you’ve opened my eyes to many obvious things I’ve never seen or fully understood, and many hidden causes I’d have never dreamed existed. Your in depth research and documentation provides indisputable credibility, while your clear and engrossing style provides meaning – even logic – to extraordinary world events that are otherwise so baffling. I never understood many of the behind-the-scenes cooperating forces and self-interests at work. Your book puts a whole new light on watching world events.
The only problem is, I’m sorry to say, I believe you’re right! I wish it were not so!
