UK: Gold prices soar above $1200 per ounce as buyers seek to get out of money-based investments doomed by inflation – which is the result of massive creation of new money by the governments and central banks of the world. Daily Mail 2010 May 14 (Cached)

A billboard in Buffalo, NY, petitions Obama for “a freakin’ job”- suggesting that the government has failed to do so. [This is a perfect example of how people raised in a collectivist system are conditioned to think that the proper role of the state is to provide jobs and health care and retirement and education and housing and food and everything else. America will never be strong again until people realize that expecting government to do these things is THE PROBLEM.] Yahoo News 2010 May 13 (Cached)

US: “Fat Police” bill has been introduced to track the weight of children and share information, including vaccination records, with all government agencies.
[Health is the excuse, but this is just the first step toward regulating what people may eat. Where in the Constitution is the government authorized to oversee the weight of its citizens?] CNS News 2010 May 13 (Cached)

US: The biggest asset grab in history is quietly moving forward as the federal government prepares to take control of all 401(k) savings and IRA investments. The spin is that this will be good for Americans because it will move their money from “risky” stocks into “safe” annuities and government bonds. [The reality is the annuities would be issued by government-controlled insurance companies such as AIG, which is such a safe place for your money that it recently was bailed out to the tune of $182.3 billion. Also, the government must sell $2 trillion in bonds this year, and foreign buying has dried up. China doesn’t want them, so you have been selected to fill the gap.] Politics Gather 2010 May 12 (Cached)

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania’s annual debt payments now exceed its entire income. City politicians try to blame it on a bad investment for a trash-burning plant, but it’s really a sign of the times in which decades of spending for collectivist schemes is finally bearing its bitter fruit. Other political entities facing bankruptcy are Jefferson County, Alabama; Central Falls, Rhode Island; and large cities such as Detroit, San Diego, and Los Angeles.. Fox News 2010 May 12 (Cached)

UK: Conservative Prime Minister David Cameron names his former liberal-Democrat rival, Nick Clegg, as his deputy in what is being called a “coalition government.” [The phrase is deceptive. This is merely a strategic partnership between the Left and Right wings of collectivism. While they may bicker over how long members should serve in Parliament and other minor issues, both men share the really important goal of world collectivist government.] Yahoo 2010 May 12 (Cached)

US: Senators Leiberman and Kerry introduced ‘The American Power Act’, an expanded version of the Cap & Trade energy bill that was defeated three times previously in the Senate. The primary difference is that the new bill includes a gas tax in addition to a carbon tax. [There is little chance it will pass, but it serves to remind us that the New World Order crowd never sleeps.] CFP 2010 May 12 (Cached)

Australia: Flu shots sent 57 children into violent convulsions. The vaccines had passed quality control, which means the problem was not accidental contaminants but normal ingredients. Common reactions include paralysis, autism and coma. Natural News 2010 May 12 (Cached)

US: Nine employees were fired last year from a Department of Education contractor for accessing Obama’s student-loan records, presumably, to determine his citizenship. Now they are threatened with a year in prison and fines up to $100,000. [Being fired is expected but, in this case, it is not enough. The potential punishment is extreme. Do you suppose this is to frighten them into silence about what they found in return for dismissal of charges?]

US: Senate backs a watered down version of the  Audit-the-Fed bill in a 96-0 vote! The bill will be a one-time audit with the limited scope of emergency lending only and exempting secret Fed activities which means any activity the Fed does not want audited. [The Fed will continue to operate in secrecy without impunity.] Raw Story 2010 May 11 (Cached)

US: Federal Reserve says it will bail out European banks without congressional approval.
[The banking cartel now openly steals from the American people for its global schemes; and Congress, as representatives of the people, has become a useless icon.]

Haitians document with video the fact that there is little evidence that the Red Cross actually used the $106 million is says it spent for food and health measures. This could be a scam of mammoth proportions. Brasscheck TV 2010 May 10 (Cached)

US: The FDA declares that citizens may not eat the foods they wish unless it is approved by the government. They say we have no inherent right to consume foods from nature.
[That’s the mindset the chemical-dependent food industry operating through the mechanism of collectivism.] Natural News 2010 May 10 (Cached)

UN: World Health Organization prepares to impose billions of dollars in global consumer taxes on such things as Internet use, airline travel, and paying bills online. [The center of world collectivism wants all the money you have so it can take care of you, of course.] Fox News 2010 May 10 (Cached)

US: Dead doctors still making a fortune in fraudulent Medicare claims. Scammers steal up to $92 million a year via prescriptions written in the name of deceased doctors, and organized crime is flourishing.

Inventor of software used by NY Stock Exchange says the market’s 1000-point plunge on May 6 was engineered by Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, and other mega-banks to scare Congress into defeating pending bills to limit bank power and to audit the Fed. It worked. AmpedStatus/InfoWars 2010 May 10 (Cached)

US: New banking bill seeks to collect even more detailed data on financial transactions of ordinary citizens. Two new agencies would closely monitor all consumer transactions, especially credit-card purchases – to thwart the next Bernie Madoff, of course. Orange County Register 2010 May 10 (Cached)

Growing awareness of the CFR’s role in leading America into global collectivist government has led them to produce a public relations video to brighten their image. Using the same production style seen on TV ads selling pharmaceutical drugs, watch these well known personalities sell the CFR as ohhh so wonderful. [The message is all about learning and discussion and working for solutions. Not a word about goals or methods. Be sure to notice the faces flashed on the screen in addition to the speakers. That alone will tell you how powerful this group has become.]

Arizona yields to public pressure and will remove its freeway speeding cameras. However, they constitute less than 10% of all cameras in the state, the other 90% will remain in operation under the authority of counties and cities. The American Medical Association, which strongly supported Obama Care legislation, tells doctors to refrain from speaking against the new program.
[The AMA will be paid $100 million by the government to administer the coding system that will determine how much doctors will be paid. That means, it no longer is just a doctors’ union, it has become a government contractor. Now we know why it supported the legislation and wants doctors to embrace it.]

BP easily could have contained the Gulf oil spill but was too cheap to do so. [Or too shrewd. Oil spills are used as excuses to ban offshore drilling, which reduces supply, which increases prices, which maintains profits even with decreased production.] Washington’s Blog, 2010 May 8 (Cached)

BRITISH HEALTH CARE NOT-SO-HOT
Posted 2010 May 10 from Mary Sergiacomi
Hello Mr. Griffin,
This is a counter point to the comments written by ‘Anonymous’ regarding “A Voice in Favor of British Health Care”!

I myself am of British origin, having been born in the UK and now an American citizen of almost fifty years! I too experienced life under the British NHS and can definitely say that ‘Anonymous’ is off the mark in his remarks! However if he was reporting based solely on his own experiences, then I feel compelled to do the same using my own.

He is wrong when he says that old UK hospitals are a rarity, because I can attest to the fact that there definitely ARE antiquated hospitals in the UK that are so old they should be torn down! He also claims that no one can lose their home or go bankrupt because of illness, or uninsured because of age. OKAY, but please READ this Mr. ‘Anonymous’……you can LOSE your life due to inadequate medical treatment, or for that matter, NO treatment. My mother died under the NHS simply because the system has a cut-off point where treatment is withheld due to either age or severity of illness. (More)
