Release the e-logs and mudlogs Mineral Management Service
(9 comments) Mark Hafle, the BP drilling engineer who wrote plans for well casings and cement seals on the Deepwater Horizon’s well, testified that “the well had lost thousands of barrels of mud at the bottom.” The well had balooned and blown out.

BP’S Chemical Warfare Gases and Carcinogen Soup.
(5 comments) Broken Promises (BP) well spews the lethal and carcinogenic gases of hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide and benzene.

Hold your breath. Your life may depend on it, by Chris Landau
(18 comments) Benzene and hydrogen sulfide are the two killer gases that we now have to watch out for in the Gulf of Mexico. Hold your breath. Your life may depend on it, by Chris Landau

Boycott the Oil Companies by Geologist Chris Landau
(12 comments) I do not like them. Their product stinks. It is full of carcinogens and makes our people, animals and the world sick.

Committing Suicide, the American Way by Chris Landau
(13 comments) I call on all you woman and men of conscience. Band together. We only have each other. Let us drill the new wells required to relieve the pressure. This disaster has been a blot on our landscape and conscience for too long. It is time to end it.

President Obama would you like your oil on top of your tea or dissolved into it?
(19 comments) President Obama would you like your oil on top of your tea or dissolved into it? If we put it on top of your tea, it will float there, you can skim it off and if you are desperate, you can drink that tea. Otherwise we can add some dishwashing detergent or soap (CoreExit) to the oil floating on your tea. We can stir it right in. You might say that it is now out of sight and what we do not see will not harm us.

B.P, Halliburton and Transocean have unleashed Armageddon and now there is no stopping it.
(113 comments) B.P, Halliburton and Transocean have unleashed Armageddon and now there is no stopping it. Senator Bill Nelson has told us how bad it is. Chris Landau (geologist)

B.P. SHOW US THE MUDLOGS! By geologist, Chris Landau
(20 comments) Senator Bill Nelson of Florida is telling us that the oil is gushing up around the casing. The casing has failed. There are multiple layers of oil and gas, probably 50 in this well. the casing and cement has been blown out. Your cap is a failure that can not be closed. The more you close it, the more the oil and gas will come through the sea floor. You will never be able to shut this gushing well down.

Atomic Bomb proposal for Gulf of Mexico blow out well a very bad idea for many reasons, by Geologist Chris Landau
(41 comments) How many oil and gas horizons were there in this well? There was certainly more than one. The mudlog will list the gas horizons and oil horizons. Were there 10, 30 or 50? The picture the press is drawing of the oil zone is only good for elementary school textbooks. Which of these many horizons are we trying to seal? Are the proposed directional wells above some oil and gas horizons and below others?

BP’s directional well solution is designed for failure. Is that what they want? If so, why?
(19 comments) BP, you are wasting time with a directional well solution for August 2010 that can not work. It is designed for failure. Is that what you want? If so, why?

How to Solve and Understand the Oil Blowout in The Gulf Of Mexico
(9 comments) Drill four relief wells immediately to relieve the background oil & gas pressure to the same depth as the existing well. Space these new wells 1500 feet in all directions away from this blowout well in the Gulf of Mexico. Directional wells into the existing well will be the same as pumping drilling mud into a blown out formation. The drilling mud and back pressure is lost & this creates a possible new blowout.

Bring on the sun.
(1 comments) Solar is the way. Stand together. Our future is bright. We have found the way. Let us bridge the gulf.

Call to publish the geological mudlogs and e-logs for the Transocean-BP-Haliburton oil blowout disaster
(1 comments) Appeal to President Obama and vice president Joe Biden to publish the geological mudlogs and the e-logs that were done for this BP-Transocean-Halliburton blowout well so we can all see how many horizons or layers in this well are producing this immense amount of oil and gas.

The Tar Baby (the oil industry) says nothing and Brer Bear (BP) and Brer Fox (Halliburton) they lay low.
(1 comments) So let us start talking and tending to the living and each other. The green will spread and the tar baby inside all of us will melt away. It’s time to let the Tar Baby go.

Santa Barbara does not want a BP-type Gulf of Mexico oil gusher blowout here.
(1 comments) Dear Arnold Schwarzenegger. We do not want a BP-type Gulf of Mexico oil gusher blowout here. Complete the job. Stop oil pumping from offshore Santa Barbara Los Angeles drill rigs. Why take the risk? By Chris Landau(geologist) Shut the offshore oil wells down off the Santa Barbara Coast.

Dear Mr. Tony Haywood (From one geologist, Chris Landau to another)
(1 comments) Mr. Tony Haywood, you are a lucky man. You may not think so now, but today the 1st of May, 2010, you will begin to lead the world into a new green future. The other oil companies will follow, but you will make the hard changes that the world craves, but won’t act on.

Climate Change in The Gulf of Mexico from the oil slick; Oil Slick Could Cause Drought across the Southern USA.
(13 comments) The weather is already changing. Clouds are not forming as readily above the oil slick. Oil Slick Could Cause Drought across the Southern USA. The oil slick from the sunken Transocean owned Deep Water Horizon Rig and BP well is sealing the Gulf of Mexico’s sea water and preventing evaporation and clouds from forming.

Dear Goldman Sachs, BP, Halliburton and Transocean
(3 comments) Transocean, the owner of the rig and Halliburton responsible for cementing the casing, on this well, stock price seems to be holding up fairly well. Do you think that BP or Goldman Sachs should hire their public relations team to help keep their stock price up or is it more profitable to short it as it falls and then buy it back at a cheaper price? My concern is that the oil companies might be seen to be in a dirty business.

Dear Major General Smedley D. Butler.Letter to a dead man. May your ideas never die.
(2 comments) I am hoping to avert another ecological crisis on the west coast. As Vandenberg will also be hit by the natural disaster of the earthquake and tsunami, I was hoping that they might want to use their influence to stop the oil and gas drilling and pumping of oil and to shut the oil wells down permanently. I also wrote an article which began, “Dear Goldman Sachs and BP”” These are some of the GREY MEN making the huge profits. Win

Do not burn the oil on the sea in the Gulf of Mexico. Do not drill other wells into the existing B P well.
(3 comments) Do not burn the oil on the sea. Do not drill other directional wells into the existing BP well in the Gulf of Mexico. These actions will burn people, boats and property. Wind gusts will blow the flames out of control. The heat from the flames will create their own winds. This is just making a bad situation worse.

Gulf Rig blowout parallels Santa Barbara oil blowout of 1969
(1 comments) Probable Cause and Scenario that led to the oil disaster in The Gulf of Mexico, when Offshore Deepwater Horizon Oil Rig, owned by Trans Ocean Ltd., and contracted to BP, exploded burnt and sank. Do not let this happen in Santa Barbara. One oil disaster there was big enough. Stop the drilling for oil into the 3000 mile Santa Barbara Fault Zone. By geologist Chris Landau. Sad Day for Earth Day, today April 22, 2010 on The Gulf

Saturday, April 10, 2010
Do not drill more wells into the 3000 mile Santa Barbara Fault Line
(2 comments) Do not drill more wells into the 3000 mile Santa Barbara Fault Line. It will be like drilling into a volcano. Removing the oil from the Santa Barbara coastline will trigger larger earthquakes and tsunamis.
