Natural Collapse or Controlled Demolition?

5:00 pm Sunday, March 6, 2011
University of Colorado – Boulder
University Memorial Center, Room 235
1669 Euclid Ave.
Boulder, CO

BOULDER—The intense and controversial debate is set between the proponents of the “natural collapse” theory and the “controlled demolition” theory. Internationally acclaimed 9/11 speaker and architect Richard Gage, AIA, will present the evidence of the explosive destruction of the three World Trade Center skyscrapers on 9/11. The event will be held in Boulder at the University of Colorado on Sunday, March 6 at 5:00 p.m. Gage will be representing more than 1,400 architects and engineers who question the official story of the collapse of these buildings on 9/11/2001 and are calling for a new independent investigation into the catastrophic events. Chris Mohr, an independent journalist and advocate of the “natural collapse” theory, will present evidence supporting the official account of collapse by fire.

Gage, a 23-year architect, is a member of the American Institute for Architects and founder of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth (AE911Truth). The organization cites evidence that the official FEMA and NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) reports provide incomplete and contradictory accounts of the towers’ destruction. AE911Truth points in particular to the destruction of the third skyscraper, World Trade Center 7, a 47-story building which was not hit by an aircraft, yet came down in pure free-fall acceleration for at least 100 feet according to the official government engineering investigation (NIST), and in the exact manner of a classic controlled demolition. The implications are startling. The group bases its conclusions solely on forensic evidence and does not speculate as to who may have planted the explosives.

AE911Truth’s conclusions are shared by thousands of scientists; senior-level military, intelligence and government officials; pilots and aviation professionals; firefighters; scholars and university professors; 9/11 survivors and their family members; and other professionals around the world (www.journalof911studies.com, , www.firefightersfor911truth.org, www.patriotsquestion911.com).

Chris Mohr talks about material coming down at 100 mph. But what has to happen for falling material to reach that velocity?

In Earth’s gravitational field near the surface it takes a mass a little more than 4.5 seconds to reach 100 mph. But that is assuming no air resistance to significantly affect the speed. In that time the mass would travel 324 feet. That would be 27 stories of height of the WTC. Now how much mass, in steel and concrete, would there be in 27 stories of the WTC? I didn’t notice any mention of the conservation of momentum in that so called DEBATE.

Wouldn’t any mass trying to accelerate through 27 stories of steel and concrete encounter just a little bit of resistance even if it was 90% air? So if the top of the north tower fell one story how did it ever get up to 100 mph? Mohr is shooting himself in the foot and depending on the audience not thinking.

You have to waste time listening to this so called debate and think about it just a little bit to figure out that it is a stupid waste of time.
