Lots of truth here. Alex waxes mostly eloquent — even admits he needs to be more careful to not use profanity (then he does it in the commercial).

For those who care about this, Alex absolutely should be more careful to forgive and have a clean heart, always, so he doesn’t even struggle with profanity. But Alex isn’t a pastor, who needs to be Paul’s elders’ qualifications’ qualified to be an infowar leader.

When Alex gets into a major unforgiving attitude, I find him somewhat unlistenable, and I even fear for his life, sometimes — because of how he may let himself react in certain situations.

Some may have noticed that I haven’t posted much from Alex lately. He’s gotten better than he was for a number of weeks, but the Bible says: “don’t let the sun go down on your anger; don’t give the Devil a place” for a reason.

Perpetual anger is not a good place to be. A temper is a sign of weakness, not strength.

TV turns you into a zombie.

While these words are more often than not used as a tiresome metaphor to highlight how much crap we are forced to endure on television today, they do in fact serve as a deadly accurate literal statement.

Two separate studies this month alone have found that excessive amounts of television, even if it is merely on in the background, can detrimentally effect the development of children’s brains, to the point where they struggle to socially engage when they become older.
