Libya: Warning: extremely graphic photos and video shows beheadings and other atrocities reportedly committed by NATO-backed rebels against Libyan soldiers and citizens. [This will not be acknowledged by the mainstream media]. Veterans Today 2011 Jun 23 (Cached)

US: House will hold 2 votes today on the Libyan war. One is to restrict funding to a list of activities, such as search and rescue, intelligence, and surveillance. The other would continue the war without ground troops for a year. [Neither is likely to pass both houses of Congress and, if they did, there are loopholes galore to allow the war to continue anyway. It’s all about looking good to voters without really changing anything.] Yahoo 2011 Jun 24 (Cached)

Netherlands: Man builds full-size replica of Noah’s Ark. An amazing structure! [While we believe the original Ark was real, it looked much different because evidence shows it was made of reeds, not sawed wood planks. Greece’s Prime Minister receives a vote of confidence, although a tougher vote lies ahead because of higher taxes and austerity program required to repay the national debt. Jim Turk explains that gold is money, not an investment. Investments are used to create wealth by producing products or services. Money doesn’t create anything. Its role merely is to maintain purchasing power while waiting to spend it. When people hold national currencies as money and those currencies lose purchasing power, they lose their wealth. When they hold gold as money, they maintain their wealth. GoldMoney 2011 Jun 7

WHY DID BERNIE MADOFF GO TO PRISON?
2011 Jun 20 from Merry
Why did Bernie Madoff go to prison? To make it simple, he talked people into investing with him. Trouble was, he didn’t invest their money. As time rolled on he simply took the money from the new investors to pay off the old investors. Finally there were too many old investors and not enough money from new investors coming in to keep the payments going. Next thing you know Madoff is one of the most hated men in America and he is off to jail.

Madoff did to his investors what the government has been doing to us for over 70 years with Social Security. There is no meaningful difference between the two schemes, except that one was operated by a private individual who is now in jail, and the other is operated by politicians who enjoy perks, privileges and status in spite of their actions.

IT’S NOT FLU — IT’S THE STUFF BEING SPRAYED ON US
2011 Jun 17 from Valeri Hood
We had a festival last week and showed an edited version of What in the World Are They Spraying? The amazing part was that a) when I suggested doing this, I received no opposition, b) many people knew about the subject and wanted more info, c) many people, after circling the table several times, came back, watched the film, and took Rosalind Peterson’s handouts.

It was a great day – and of course, they were spraying out the back door of the facility, so I could take people out to watch it in real time. By the end of the day, they had whited the sky, dropped the temperature down, brought on the winds, made weird space-craft looking clouds – like you see up in shasta, and lots and lots of people are now suffering upper respiratory problems – as if it were mid-winter. We are now calling it chemtrail crap – forget about flu – that’s a misnomer!! We need a new vocabulary–Kloudz, weather event, etc – let’s get busy and get inventive and call these things what they are – to the best of our knowledge and ability.

WHEN PATRIOTS BECOME TRAITORS
2011 Jun 10 from Leonard Spade
Why can’t we charge elected officials with treason when they violate their oath of office to protect and defend the United States of America? According to the Constitution, that Obama swore to protect and defend, he must get permission from Congress to wage war on another country. Why is this not treason?

GEG’S REPLY:
Hello Leonard.
The answer is simple. Citizens are powerless to carry through on the charge of treason. Only the state has the power to punish traitors. Therefore, if traitors succeed in capturing the government, it is too late to do anything about it. Those who object become the new traitors while the old ones become the rulers. That is why John Harington’s quote is so appropriate. He wrote: “Treason doth never prosper; what’s the reason? For if it prosper, none dare call it treason.”

TALK TO YOUR NEIGHBORS
2011 Jun 4 from Ron Hatton
It is true that since the 50″s, with the popularization of television,
this country has changed. We have become a nation of programmed machines, living how we are told to live, eating what we are told to eat and believing what we are told to believe. This has to end, we all agree, but how can we overcome the saturation of our minds with this programming?

We must talk to each other. The media promotes items that tell us to fear our neighbors, that there are psychotics lurking behind every door, waiting to kidnap our children, when nothing could be further from the truth. They are us. Look for The Truth, talk to your neighbors, and refuse to be programmed. It is the only solution.
