Chloroquine (and HCQ, its derivative) is one of the most prescribed drugs in history. It has been for over 70 years and the incident rate of concerning reactions has been practically negligible according to the medical community.
From the American College of Cardiology: “Several hundred million courses of chloroquine have been used worldwide making it one of the most widely used drugs in history, without reports of arrhythmic death under Word Health Organization surveillance.”
Why is chloroquine/HCQ suddenly being so demonized, apparently unjustly?
[NOTE: Joel Skousen does not recommend going to a doctor while having Covid-19 because they’ll lock you down. You lose all rights. It’s better to take natural remedies outside of the hospital.]
Only now is Big Pharma telling the world that hydroxychloroquine is dangerous, since it’s been found to be a cure for Covid-19 when patients are seriously ill when given with zinc.
It’s also off-patent generic, so it’s pennies, which love-of-money driven Big Pharma hates. Bill Gates wants a mandatory, expensive vaccine instead.
Chloroquine has been used since 1947 to treat Malaria, and even to travelers to countries with Malaria. “Hundreds of millions of doses” have been administered. The drug’s effects are well known.
Contrast that to 86% of Covid-19 patients put on ventilators die.
The USA is still on lockdown so that the hospitals don’t get overwhelmed. The main reason was so we’d have enough ventilators. HCQ plus zinc calms fears, and would stop this unconstitutional overreach.
What happened? A few doctors discover that HCQ cures Covid-19 when used with zinc. Does Big Pharma then start using it? No. They demonize it instead, running articles that is has dangerous side effects, and even doing a study, but apparently without zinc, which has to be used, because it’s zinc that kills Covid-19 after HCQ helps it get into the cells. Vitamins A, intravenous C (liposomal capsules also work) and D3 also do this, according to Dr. Shiva, but the people prefer drugs, sadly.
Most hospitals are hardly being used right now anyway. The hospitals can’t get overwhelmed if Big Pharma started using the cures that work, like intravenous, high dose vitamin C, which is preferable to HCQ, but both apparently work as long as they’re used with zinc.
A friend shared the video below. I watched it to get a different perspective and because of the title, despite knowing that Dr. Chris Martinson pushes the fear. He even admits he was wrong in his dire Covid-19 predictions (but minimizes it). He’s also trying to steer people away from the realists who say the death rates are similar to the flu, because of the antibodies tests. So I don’t recommend his channel, or even the first part of this video, but starting at 10:45, Chris shows how HCQ was just fine before it was discovered to be a cure for Covid-19, when used with zinc.
This is one document he cites:
The cardiotoxicity of antimalarials

[…]
4 Conclusions and recommendations
The ERG panel addressed the following key questions and made the following recommendations for consideration:
1. What is the frequency of sudden death attributable to the cardiotoxicity of different antimalarial medicines?
[…]
Despite hundreds of millions of doses administered in the treatment of malaria, there have been no reports of sudden unexplained death associated with quinine, chloroquine or amodiaquine, although each drug causes QT/QTc interval prolongation.
The video’s summary:
Well, the campaign against hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) continues to intensify.
Yesterday, Chris poked an embarrassing number of holes in the main study being cited by the recent headlines that HCQ has “no effect”.
Today, he looks at the growing media reports that HCQ is downright dangerous. Warnings of fatal cardiovascular risk and other side effects that are “inexcusable” to ignore.
It sure seems like we’re being told we’d be crazy to put HCQ in our bodies if it does nothing against covid-19 but can harm us with bad, potentially fatal, side effects.
But is that true?
Again, Chris plows through the research and makes quick work in revealing that chloroquine (and HCQ, its derivative) is one of the most prescribed drugs in history.
We don’t know.
But do we know that, whether it’s from bad science or something more nefarious (i.e. Big Pharma protecting its interests), if HCQ is indeed proven to make a positive difference in reducing the severity/fatality of covid-19, lives have been unnecessarily lost by the current campaign to discredit it.
Start at 10:45. The man is wordy. I listened at 1.5x speed.
