COMMENTARY

Christina Aguilara sings wrong lyrics to “Star Spangled Banner.”
Most of the crowd doesn’t seem to notice,
waiting to cheer loudly to their favorite line:

And the rockets‘ red glare,
the bombs bursting in air

Patriotism now means
killing men, women and children
on their soil.

Ra, Ra, Ra!

While what goes around
comes around.

The Black Eyed Peas openly sexed it up
at the start of the half-time show —
millions of Americans lusting
and then have the gall to ask for help
from Above in another song
.

* * *

This is America,
the home of the ‘brave’ (should be ‘decieved‘),
as the sheeple line up to get naked body scanned,
and we bomb the ‘terrorists’ in Afghanistan
by remote control from Las Vegas.

Though, God is not mocked.
What we sow we will also reap.

At least Simon Cowell played part of the Rhydian song:
“Oh Fortuna.”

I hardly watched any of the game,
by the way.

I just heard:

“America
MUST
Repent!”

  1. Your not joking, its not a joke.So many Americans are turning their lives over to porn, sex, drugs, violence, gambling and just greed and than say God I need a job because I lost mine.So many people think I am way out there because I openly speak against twilight, medium and harry potter but yet so many Americans and others world wide no longer know what it means to walk in the fear of God or to walk in the blessings of God.In every way we have walked away from God and in every way we have come against God and we say how come we don’t have the blessings of God any more?I quit watching N.F.L when I saw so many people across this nation mock God and be more interested in what their football team was doing more than they were interested in the things of God.So many Christians have no problem looking at or talking about the most perverted things in life but just mention any thing in the word and they accuse you of being judgmental.I find it amazing that Revelation 21:8 points out that murders, cowards, and those involved in sexual sins will take their part in the lake of fire but yet I am considered judgmental for pointing out what the word says.

      Tim,

We’re supposed to expect this, for when people say only good things about us we’re in trouble, biblically.

However, it’s tough when it’s born-again ‘Christians’ who are doing the mocking, finger pointing, even James-3 cursing us.

We must be like Jesus and Stephen: “Father, forgive them; they know not what they do” and “Father, don’t hold this sin to their account” — as they were murdered by the very people they were trying to reach.

But when ‘ONE’ happens, then the world will know, including “greasy grace’ indoctrinated ‘Christians.’

When ‘ONE’ happens (John 17), we’ll flow as one in Christ.

I know it’s hard and sometimes EXTREMELY frustrating! I’ve been actively trying to help see ‘ONE’ to happen for more than two decades.

We can’t grow weary of doing good.

Let’s abide in Christ, day by day until there will be many!

      Jeff : )

I agree with you Tim – Just know that you are not alone – I see the same things as you in this world and I get spoken against also. When I see all this and experience the ugliness it just makes me realize all the more that our Lord Jesus Christ is truly the only one that we can trust and turn to. He will not forsake us and we can always trust Him.
