Demonstrating yet again the power of acting locally, two more counties have stopped Monsanto’s GMO farming at the county level. Monsanto has been unstoppable in steamrolling state ballot measures for GMO labeling, spending tens of millions and outspending their opponents anywhere from 2:1 to 5:1. But in Hawaii, even though Monsanto & Dow outspent their opponents 87:1 spending $8 Million — a record for any ballot measure in Hawaii — they LOST! And they lost in a California county too. And it wasn’t just labeling, they stopped actual GMO production.
