The Reichstag Fire Was NOT a Nazi False Flag Operation

Yesterday, Mike Rivero again blamed the Nazis for starting the Reichstag fire on his show What Really Happened. But this is what really happened:

The Reichstag Fire Was NOT a Nazi False Flag Operation

As much as I admire the work that Jesse Ventura is doing uncovering evidence of U.S. government conspiracies, he unfortunately repeats a “History is written by the winners” myth that has been around since Bankster War II. Today’s lewrockwell.com posted a recent interview that Jesse did with The Daily Bell. In Jesse’s own words:

“Likewise the Reichstag Fire in Germany in the 1930s. They burned down the congressional building and blamed it on the Communists, which set the stage for war. It turned out that the Nazi’s had done it themselves.”

This is not true. But don’t take my lunatic fringe word for it. Here’s the word from one of the greatest living Austrian economists and historians, David Gordon:

“This of course changed when Hitler used the crisis brought about by the burning of the Reichstag building to secure passage of the Enabling Bill, giving him dictatorial powers. (Contrary to a popular belief, the Nazis did not start the fire themselves. See on this Fritz Tobias, The Reichstag Fire, Putnam, 1964.)”

What happened was that when the Nazis first learned of the fire, they assumed that it was carried out by the Communists and, therefore, that it would be a great piece of political propaganda to use to go after the Communists. When they later learned that it was a lone arsonist, they decided to ignore the truth and still claim the Communists were behind the fire. And that is the lie about the Reichstag Fire—not that it was a False Flag operation carried out by the Nazis.

  1. Some people have their own opinions and we can’t expect to agree with everyone 100%
So we use what we agree on.

    • I agree, and I still listen to Mike’s show fairly often. But he calls his show “What Really Happened,” and then tells falsehoods about Germany over and over, about this, the book burning, which isn’t the way it really happened. It was every show for awhile. Mike knows the truth about the ‘Holocaust,’ but would mention the “brown shirts” with a Hitler accent.

I’ve commented on Ron Gibson’s video archives, just like I did on yesterday’s. I think it makes a difference.

I listen to Michael, even though he’s an open atheist who makes fun of God too, “the imaginary plaything in the sky,” which is one of the reasons I don’t post his show every day.

Michael’s wife, Claire, is a Christian, by the way. Sometimes I feel sorry for her. I have prayed for Michael a lot. I know it helps. I also think people like Michael respect those who both appreciate them and who will also tell them the truth when it’s necessary, so they don’t become a pushover ogre, who then only have a few weak minded fan listeners.

I know that I would be saying the same incorrect thing over and over, I’d appreciate being corrected. We need to be lovers of the truth. I’ve heard Michael tell the false version of the Reichstag fire many times.

Many truthers have some really serious character issues, and it’s keeping us from getting on the same page and moving forward.

The average evangelical would turn Michael off in a heartbeat if they hear him openly mocking God, which he’s done many times. Imagine how his Christian wife feels?

So that’s where I’m coming from. Mike didn’t just say this once, but many times.

The man has so much potential, but his listening audience doesn’t seem to be very big. He could do so much better. That, to me, is the goal, to help him do better.
