I agree. I’ve often thought the name was chosen on purpose by someone who hates Christianity. I looked “wiki” up, to find out it apparently means “quick.” And that’s their justification to use a name that sounds like “wicked” or “wicca.”
The first wiki software, WikiWikiWeb, obviously sounds like “Wicked Wicked Web.” And certainly, Ward Cunninham knew that:
