Joel Skousen also stated some of this in Friday’s World Affairs Brief.

At this point, it appears Trump has no moral compass, or he’s blackmailed. Trump has gone rogue, and is ramping up the hatred towards America.

Reports Show Soleimani was Lured to Iraq by Trump Himself then Murdered

Kenneth Pollack, resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute says the assassination of General Soleimani is the equivalent of killing the 2nd highest ranking official in the nation. In a recent interview with VOX he commented on the Iranian Generals rank,

“ Jen Kirby: I guess a good place to start is Soleimani’s death. What would you guess was the immediate reaction or response within the Iranian regime to the news? Kenneth Pollack: Shock and anger, which is exactly what we saw. Honestly, Jen, when I heard about this Thursday evening, my immediate thought was, “Ooh, Iranians are going to be pissed.”

This guy was arguably the second-most-powerful man in Iran. He was almost certainly the most powerful Iranian figure in their foreign policy. He was widely respected within the Iranian leadership.”(VOX, 01/07/2020)

Correct me if I am wrong, Trump is the first President to openly claim credit for the assassination of a foreign chief of state. Historically, heads of state are assassinated by the CIA as black budget operations, giving a president plausible deniability in the press. Trump in this case both admits responsibility for the strike and is actively taunting the Iranians with the death of their #2 on social media.

What president in their right mind would get on a public platform and brag about assassinating a head of state like Trump has done this last week, and then, on top of that, threaten 52 Iranian targets including cultural sites if they decide to respond with their own attacks?

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump

….hundreds of Iranian protesters. He was already attacking our Embassy, and preparing for additional hits in other locations. Iran has been nothing but problems for many years. Let this serve as a WARNING that if Iran strikes any Americans, or American assets, we have…..

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump

….targeted 52 Iranian sites (representing the 52 American hostages taken by Iran many years ago), some at a very high level & important to Iran & the Iranian culture, and those targets, and Iran itself, WILL BE HIT VERY FAST AND VERY HARD. The USA wants no more threats!

If you think that is insane, hold onto your antidepressants, because it gets worse.

It is now being credibly reported that Trump personally called up the Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi and asked him to negotiate with Iran after the embassy attacks. Meaning he used the Iraqi Prime Minister to lure General Soleimani to Iraq under the false pretenses of peace negotiations.

In an article by the (Daily Mail, 01/06/2020) [This link was at the end of the last quoted paragraph. I moved it here, so it’s clear that the following indented quotes are all from the Daily Mail article – ed.] in a report entitled, Iraqi prime minister says Qassem Soleimani was in Iraq to ‘discuss de-escalating tensions between Iran and Saudis’ when he was killed – and claims Trump had asked for help mediating talks after embassy attackit details that AFTER the protests, Trump personally called the Iraqi Prime Minister, and requested that he bring Soleimani to the table to defuse the tensions between the Iraqi militia groups, Iran and Saudi forces patrolling for ISIS in the region.

“Abdul Mahdi said he worked hard to defuse tensions outside the embassy.

He said he went so far as to threaten to resign if the crowds did not disperse, according to Axios

Abdul Mahdi even told Iraq’s parliament that Trump thanked him for his efforts. He expressed disappointment that while the American president was grateful, he was also simultaneously planning an attack on Soleimani.

Soon after Trump made his request to Abdul Mahdi for mediation, US forces launched their drone strike on Friday killing Soleimani, the Iraqi leader was quoted as saying by National Public Radio.

Abdul Mahdi slammed the Americans on Sunday for what he called a ‘political assassination’ in targeting Soleimani.

Abdul Mahdi suggested that the Iranian military leader was in Baghdad as part of Iraqi-mediated negotiations with Iran’s main regional rival, Saudi Arabia.

He said that Soleimani was going to meet him on the same day that he was killed.

‘He came to deliver me a message from Iran, responding to the message we delivered from Saudi Arabia to Iran,’ Abdul Mahdi told The Washington Post.”

The dubious nature in which Trump himself worked to bring the Iranian General into a kill zone through pure chicanery and lies should force even the most hardened Trump supporter to give pause. What world leader would ever trust Trump and his word ever again at this point, seeing he is a lying, wicked, murderous tyrant. His credibilty as a peace negotiator has been completely shot through in light of these new revelations.

You can sense the Iraqi Prime Ministers anger and bitter feelings of betrayal in his quotes above having been used in such a manner. Not only did Soleimani die as a result of that talk with Trump, but also one of his deputy chiefs of state was murdered also.

Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis is getting very little media attention, he was a politician and deputy chief of the Popular Mobilisation Committee (Al-Hashd Al-Sha’abi). He worked with the Iranian, General Soliemani to patrol the Iraq/Iran border and kill ISIS fighters. Nobody has been more effective at reducing the spread of ISIS along the Iran and Iraq borders than these two.
