Famous in the ’80s, Tears for Fears did a major concert tour this year with both Curt and Roland at age-60. This is my favorite version that I saw online. Has some spunk, and is good quality, especially considering it’s filmed on a tiny Sony RX-100 mk 7.

Kebu shows off his Roland synth collection. In this part, Kebu presents his JD-XA, SE-02 and FANTOM. In the end of the video, Kebu gives a jam with the three synths, controlled and clocked from the FANTOM.
Incredible demonstration at 17:43!
Where have all the rebels gone?
Hiding behind computer screens
Whereâs the spirit, whereâs the soul?
Where have all the rebels gone?
Why donât they come out of the woodwork now?
One for the money, two for the show
Itâs not very rock and roll
Where have all the rebels gone?
Where have all the rebels gone?
Waiting for someone else to make a move
Why are they sitting on the fence?
Well, itâs some kind of pretence
Theyâre not saying much at all
Where have all the rebels gone?
Were they really all that tough?
Or was it just a PR stunt?
One for the money, two for the show
Where have all the rebels gone?
Not anointed, but amazing talent!
The famous keyboardist for YES is now openly a Freemason. I do think he was close to God at one point, as one of his CDs seems to indicate.
HEAVYÂ music from a heavy TV series
The entire film in one video.
Individual song videos here with lots of info, including why the poor quality:
This just in
Another liar on the news
Standing at the pulpit
Ready to abuse
This just in
Another coward in control
Scared by the sounds
So he hides in a hole
Heâll call on the guards
To trample the crowd
âCause the louder they get
They silence his power
Shame, blame, no matter what they say
Donât let the bastard get to you
Heâs going to try to shut us down
But weâll stand our ground
Hey, this just in, heâll lose
This just in
Another villain on the screen
Acting like a hero
For all the drama queens
This just in
Another black painted face
Lathered in his virtue
Enslaving every race
Heâll send out the troops
And freeze the accounts
Says the freedom you get
Is what he makes allowed
Shame, blame, no matter what they say
Donât let the bastard get to you
Heâs going to try to shut us down
But weâll stand our ground
Hey, this just in, heâll lose
If you look in his eyes
You can see heâs afraid
So fragile inside
While the townâs on parade
Shame, blame, no matter what they say
Donât let the bastard get to you
Heâs going to try to shut us down
But weâll stand our ground
Hey, this just in, heâll lose
No heâll never shut us down
âCause weâll stand our ground
Hey, this just in, you lose
Lots of truth here; so accurate!
Deep lyrics go by so fast. May help to slow it down to .75x speed; or an amazing read!
I put in quotes: ‘stop all the hate.’
â â
Everybody head down, pick yourself a pronoun
Join the resistance on government assistance
‘Stop all the hate’ as you advocate violence
Block and suppress anyone you want silenced
Take what you want âcause what you want is what youâre owed
Call everyone a fascist âtil theyâre all controlled
Preach in the street for the communist party
Pro choice, no voice, never mind the heart beat
Dictate, race bait, agitate, mandate
Dress in drag and burn the flag then run to find a safe space
Tell us how you feel until we give you what you need
Call everyone oppressive âtil theyâre on their knees
Impeach free speech, better dye your hair pink
TV, phone screen, itâs better if you donât think
Debt to university, segregate diversity
Give yourself a ribbon every time you face adversity
Find another problem, tell yourself youâre not alone
Tell everyone whoâs straight that theyâre all transphobe
Defund police. No guns, oh please
Fight for your right to start a war until thereâs no peace
Take it down, tear it up, itâs in the name of progress
Make the rule you never lose âtil everything is lawless
Tell me what to think, and how to feel, and where to go
âCause everyoneâs a fascist âtil theyâre all controlled
Find your path in life but make it socio or psycho
Nonsense, wokeness, youâre gonna lose your mind though
Bigotry, insanity, an ally, or an enemy
Thereâs too much masculinity so wave goodbye to family
Represent the one percent who want to overthrow
âTil everybody lives to an autonomous zone
Act tough, steel stuff, smash another window
Loot store, get more, grab another brick, throw
She/Her/He/Him/They/Them/Xe/Xem
Women are the men now and the men are now the women
Make yourself a slave until you feel like you are free
Dig yourself a grave for The American Dream
I’ve seen the needle and the damage done
A little part of it in everyone
But every junkie’s like a settin’ sun
Ooh, ooh, the damage done âŠ
I watched the needle take another man
Gone, gone, the damage done
I’ve seen the needle and the damage done
A little part of it in everyone
But every junkie’s like a settin’ sun
Ooh, ooh, the damage done âŠ
I watched the needle take another man
Gone, gone, the damage done

Brad from Five Times August singing ‘Sad Little Man’ during ‘Defeat the Mandates’ soundcheck!
Somebodyâs selling a new religion
Somebodyâs selling a lie
Somebody wants all the strife and division
Thatâs driving us out of our minds
Theyâre telling the world not trust their own eyes
Theyâre telling the people theyâre wrong
Theyâre keeping the truth for their power and gain
And taking whatever weâve got
And some of you eat all the lies youâve been fed
Some of you just go along
Training acceptance inside of your head
To give them whatever they want
Youâre leaving your brothers and sisters behind
Youâre told itâs the best thing to do
Youâre shutting out friends âcause youâre told thatâs whatâs right
Now they win because all of us lose
And itâs so sad
Watching these times as they change
And itâs so bad
The battleâs been violent and strange
As they lock us indoors
In a prison of this silent war
Now someone is trying to sell you the cure
The same one who made the disease
And theyâll try to convince you and make you feel sure
But hey, there ainât no guarantees
They covered your mouth and theyâve tied back your hands
They did it to all of the kids
And nobody knows all the damage thatâs done
And wonât ask until the master permits
So take back your freedom
And fight for your life
Stand up before itâs all gone
Take back your freedom
And fight for your life
Stand up before itâs all gone
“Jesus… What Happened To Us?”
written by Bradley James Skistimas
Shut your mouth, get in line
Just behave or pay the fine
They’re pulling on your backbone
And taking out your spine
They want you weak, don’t speak
Don’t question, don’t think
Keep staring at your smart phone
Get dumber every week
Now give up your freedom and shush
Oh Jesus, what happened to us?
Leave the church, kill your faith
Judge the skin and learn to hate
Make yourself the enemy
But call yourself a saint
Learn the rules, be a fool
Remove your kid from school
And apologize for everything
Apologize for you
Now give the TV all of your trust
Oh Jesus, what happened to us?
Mark, Jack, Bill, Joe
They’ll tell you what you need to know
They give you your permissions
And tell you where to go
Lights, camera, action, edit
We’re so pathetic
You believe it ’cause you watched it
You believe it ’cause they said it
Now everybody stay home and rust
Oh Jesus, what happened to us?
We used to stand and fight
We had a voice alright
We had a life worth living
We had a damn worth giving
Now we’re watching it fall
That’s the truth of it all
So shut your mouth, get in line
Just behave or pay the fine
They’re pulling on your backbone
And taking out your spine
They want you weak, don’t speak
Don’t question, don’t think
Keep staring at your smart phone
Get dumber every week
Don’t nobody put up a fuss
Oh Jesus, what’s happened to us?
Oh Jesus
Jesus, what happened to us?
