Researchers found that many of the connections in a typical male brain run between the front and the back of the same side of the brain, whereas in women the connections are more likely to run from side to side between the left and right hemispheres of the brain. …
Psychological testing has consistently indicated a significant difference between the sexes [though this has been downplayed by educators – editor] in the ability to perform various mental tasks, with men outperforming women in some tests and women outperforming men in others. Now there seems to be a physical explanation, scientists said.
“These maps show us a stark difference – and complementarity – in the architecture of the human brain that helps to provide a potential neural basis as to why men excel at certain tasks, and women at others,” said Ragini Verma, professor of radiology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.…
A special brain-scanning technique called diffusion tensor imaging, which can measure the flow of water along a nerve pathway….
Because the female connections link the left hemisphere, which is associated with logical thinking, with the right, which is linked with intuition, this could help to explain why women tend to do better than men at intuitive tasks, she added.
“Intuition is thinking without thinking. It’s what people call gut feelings. Women tend to be better than men at these kinds of skill which are linked with being good mothers,” Professor Verma said. …
Men tend to outperform women involving spatial tasks and motor skills – such as map reading – while women tend to better in memory tests, such as remembering words and faces, and social cognition tests, which try to measure empathy and “emotional intelligence”. …

Have you had enough yet of the dad bashing frequently seen in the media? According to sitcoms and TV commercials, men are complete idiots who wouldn’t even know how to put their own underwear on straight if it weren’t for their wives telling them how to do things.
Clorox jumped on the man-bashing bandwagon this week with an online advertising campaign so highly offensive that if it had targeted blacks instead of dads, it would have been called the most extreme example of corporate racism ever witnessed.
The ad begins by claiming dads “lack the judgment and fine motor skills” to take care of children, and it compares dads to dogs and other house pets in their sheer stupidity.
The ad then goes on to identify the “6 mistakes new dads make,” each of which is an outrageous slur against all men. It claims, for example, that dads will put their baby’s clothes on backwards and not be able to figure out why they don’t fit.
The ad goes on to explain that dads allow their babies to “eat off the floor,” and then they plop them down on the couch to “watch reality TV shows.”
Even worse, Clorox somehow believed it was entirely appropriate for its marketing campaign to include this: “Some new dads have been inspired by raunchy comedies to bring babies to inappropriate places like casinos, pool halls, and poetry readings.”

“So, to summarize,” says a CNN editorial, “new dads give our kids dirty food and Play-Doh to spread all over their faces while watching ‘Kardashians,’ then put them in backward summer clothes in freezing weather, oblivious to their cries en route to a poetry slam. But you can’t blame us, because of our perpetually beer-soaked state and canine-level motor skills.”
Yep, dads are stupid morons, says Clorox. And they think it’s hilarious to shove that message in your face. It’s all part of the man-bashing bandwagon we’re witnessing across the mainstream media.

Suddenly the offensiveness of it all seems obvious, doesn’t it? Now you see that the Clorox advertisement is classic hate speech against men.
These Clorox people are so clueless and hateful, they will probably soon run “Clorox n—-r jokes” and laugh it up at the expense of innocent African Americans, too. I can already see the racist ads from the Clorox marketing team: “Hey n—-rs, here’s how to get your WHITES more WHITE!” (Because they’re selling bleach, of course.)
If you find that last paragraph highly offensive, that’s my whole point: Clorox did this to fathers of all colors, including blacks! And the company is so completely disconnected from reality that it somehow thought its hate speech was not just acceptable, but even entertaining. How sick is this, really?
Personally, I denounce racism, sexism, man bashing and corporate hate speech. I am never buying Clorox products again, and I recommend you join me in this boycott against corporate hate speech targeting men. I would take exactly the same position if Clorox attacked women, African Americans or anyone who is gay, too.

The Supreme Court struck down a key part of the federal Defense of Marriage Act on Wednesday and declared that same-sex couples who are legally married deserve equal rights to the benefits under federal law that go to all other married couples.
The decision is a landmark win for the gay rights movement. It voids a section of the law known as DOMA, which was adopted with bipartisan support in Congress in 1996 to deny all benefits and recognition to same-sex couples.

But high maintenance costs, high rates of failure, and fluctuating weather conditions that affect energy production render wind turbines expensive and inefficient, which is why more than 14,000 of them have since been abandoned.
Before government subsidies for the giant metals were cut or eliminated in many areas, wind farms were an energy boom business. But in the post-tax subsidy era, the costs of maintaining and operating wind turbines far outweighs the minimal power they generate in many areas, which has left a patchwork of wind turbine graveyards in many of the most popular wind farming areas of the US.
“Thousands of abandoned wind turbines littered the landscape of wind energy’s California ‘big three’ locations which include Altamont Pass, Tehachapin and San Gorgonio, considered among the world’s best wind sites,” writes Andrew Walden of the American Thinker. “In the best wind spots on earth, over 14,000 turbines were simply abandoned. Spinning, post-industrial junk which generates nothing but bird kills.”
Walden speaks, of course, about the birds, bats, and other air creatures that routinely get tangled in and killed by wind turbine propellers. And as far as the “post-industrial junk” language, well, if it costs too much to run the machines in the first place, then it definitely costs too much to uproot and remove them post-construction.
This whole wind energy mess just further illustrates how the American people have been played by their elected officials who bought into the “global warming” hysteria that spawned the push for wind energy in the first place. And now that the renewable energy tax subsidies are gradually coming to an end in some places, the true financial and economic viability, or lack of wind energy, is on display for the world to see.

Have We Raised An Entire Generation Of Young Men That Do Not Know How To Be Men?
Have we completely and totally failed an entire generation of young men? Have we failed to equip them with the tools that they need? Have we raised an entire generation of young men that do not know how to be men? …our system has raised up a crop of young men that are generally weak, directionless, wimpified and unwilling to take responsibility. This is not a good thing.
What comes to your mind when you think of men under the age of 30 in America today? Does an image of an irresponsible, sex crazed, beer swilling slacker come to mind? …most young men seem to want to run around “hooking up” with as many women as possible without any consequences.
But there are consequences. The irresponsible behavior of our young men is putting an incredible amount of strain on our young women.
For example, in 2010 42 percent of all single mothers in the United States were on food stamps.
So what is causing all of this?
Well, certainly there are a lot of factors, but it certainly does not help that men are almost always portrayed as weak, irresponsible, sex-crazed idiots on television and in our movies.
This point was made very well in a recent article in The Washington Times….
If the fall TV season is any guide, the sexual revolution that was supposed to liberate men and women from traditional sex roles seems to have resulted instead in a straight-up role reversal. The male characters are messes — insecure, jobless, barely able to dress themselves without a wife or girlfriend and/or living in mom’s proverbial basement. Their female counterparts, meanwhile, are flaunting the same selfish, boorish ways that once got men called “chauvinist pigs.”
Today, our society generally does not teach young men that they should be strong, noble, ambitious and eager to take responsibility.
Instead, we are constantly sending our young men the message that we expect them to act like idiots, drink lots of beer, chase women and pretty much be as lazy as possible.
Although, no doubt sex ed ranks right up there in the destruction of Biblically based moral values, I disagree that sex ed is the worst factor (Blumenfeld’s first sentence).
I think in the unconstitutional public school system, the main reverse-Christian factor is teaching the religion of evolution as fact without teaching the scientific evidence that disproves it. Here is just one slam-dunk way: The Universe is Young — Evidence from Space, Earth, Biology & History
When taught evolution as fact, many students then see Adam and Eve as just another fable like Santa Claus, in which their parents lied to them.

Sex Ed and the Downfall of American Morality

Ideas have consequences, and bad ideas have bad consequences. The ideas behind sex education have done more to destroy Biblically based moral values than any other secular force in America.
The first idea to become a battering ram against traditional sexual morality was Sigmund Freud’s dictum that sexual repression causes neurosis. If sexual repression creates dysfunction, then the remedy, of course, is free sexual expression. That was not the cure Freud recommended, but Freud’s ideas so strongly influenced American culture that clothes for women went from the trussed-up, sexually repressed fashions of 1900 to the loose, liberating flapper skirts of the Roaring Twenties — in only 20 years!
Greenwich Village bohemians and intellectuals took to Freud like ducks to water. It provided a scientific justification for their free-love promiscuity and disregard of middle-class Biblical morality.
The second major idea came from socialist Margaret Sanger, free-love advocate, who launched a campaign in 1916 to promote contraception and abortion in order to free women from the burdens of unwanted pregnancy.
Sanger later adopted the views of the eugenicists who promoted the idea that only “the fit” should be encouraged to have children and “the unfit” discouraged from doing so. Sex education became an indispensable part of Sanger’s birth-control movement. As a result, Planned Parenthood, which she founded, became the pioneer advocate of comprehensive sex education in the schools.
In 1953, Planned Parenthood staffer Lena Levine wrote, “[Our goal] is to be ready as educators and parents to help young people obtain sex satisfaction before marriage. By sanctioning sex before marriage, we will prevent fear and guilt … we must be ready to provide young boys and girls with the best contraception measures available so they will have the necessary means to achieve sexual satisfaction without having to risk possible pregnancy.”
The third evil idea came from sexologist Alfred C. Kinsey, head of the Institute for Sex Research at Indiana University, funded by the Rockefeller Foundation. Dr. Kinsey’s famous report, Sexual Behavior in the Human Male, published in 1958, preached the idea that human beings are sexual from birth. The data on 317 infants and young boys supposedly provided the scientific source of that idea. This data was obtained from a pedophile who had actually masturbated infants and boys and kept records of his criminal experiments. All of this was exposed years later by Dr. Judith Reisman, who accused Kinsey of complicity in the sexual abuse of young children.

About the Authors
Suzanne Venker, aka “No Bull Mom” — is an author, blogger, and former middle school teacher. In addition to blogging for Right Pundits, Suzanne is a featured writer at David Horowitz’s NewsReal, where she writes about the left’s effect on American society.

Phyllis Schlafly has been a national leader of the conservative movement since the publication ofher best-selling 1964 book, “A Choice Not an Echo.” She has been a leader of the pro-family movement since 1972, when she started her national volunteer organization, Eagle Forum. In a ten-year battle, Mrs. Schlafly led the pro-family movement to victory over the principal legislative goal of the radical feminists, called the Equal Rights Amendment. She was named one of the 100 most important women of the 20th century by the Ladies’ Home Journal.
Mrs. Schlafly is a lawyer and served as a member of the Commission on the Bicentennial of the U.S. Constitution, 1985-1991 — appointed by President Reagan. She has testified before more than 50 Congressional and State Legislative committees on constitutional, national defense, and family issues.
