General Atomics is developing a powerful laser that can be fitted to an unmanned drone, Mark Thompson of Time reports.

Last year the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) gave General Atomics a $40 million contract to continue to refine, shrink and power up the High Energy Liquid Laser Defense System (HELLADS).

The company hopes the laser — which would supposedly be able to take down an aircraft — will be small enough to put on a drone within five years.

Current drones, such as the General Atomics MQ-1 Predator, can fly missions lasting from up to 40 hours before refueling but have to reload after firing its payload of two Hellfire missiles.

Lasers could make it so that drones could be recharged as they fly while having a steady stream of weaponry.

“It would give us an unlimited magazine,” a person close to the program told Time.

The downside of lasers is that they’re a line-of-sight weapon that must remain on their target, and they don’t work as well through haze, dust or fog.

Thompson notes that even if drone laser are realized, the primary problems of drone warfare remains:

Some legal scholars, and military officers, assert that drone killings are too easy to order, are illegal, shouldn’t be conducted in secret by the CIA, and, at the end of the day, generate a dozen terrorists for every one that’s killed … The real problem, of course, isn’t a lack of Hellfire missiles. The challenge is knowing where to aim them. Swapping Hellfires for lasers won’t change that.

4 Tricks to Stop Procrastination

Do you ever find yourself putting off until tomorrow what could probably be done today? If so, I highly recommend this great book from productivity guru Neil Fiore. It’s packed with Big Ideas to help you understand and overcome the “do it later” habit.

How Perception Affects Procrastination

One of the first things Fiore points out is that procrastinating tendencies are often triggered by unspoken fears.

To illustrate this, Fiore asks you to first imagine a solid board that’s 30 feet long, 4 inches thick and 1 foot wide. It’s lying on the ground ahead of you. Your mental task is to walk the length of the board. Given that it’s just resting on the ground, you probably won’t be inclined to put it off.

Next, Fiore suggests imagining that same board has been raised up high in the air and is suspended between two tall buildings, about 100 feet above the pavement.

“Look across to the other end of the board and contemplate beginning your assignment,” he instructs. “What do you feel? What are you thinking about? What are you saying to yourself?”

Fiore suggests taking a moment to notice how your reactions in this situation differ from those you had just a moment ago, when all you had to do was walk along a board that was at ground level. Notice how rapidly your feelings about the task change when the height of the board changes and the consequences of falling are greater.

Isn’t it amazing how often we raise a board up in the air and freak ourselves out? This is what happens when we think we have to be perfect before we start, or we’re never going to be able to do a task well enough — suddenly that simple, step-by-step exercise seems risky and dangerous. It’s the same board, but our fear of failure just raised it sky high.

The truth is, getting across the board always requires putting one foot in front of the other. It’s only our thoughts that paralyze us — by convincing us that a single faulty step could put us at real risk. …

Here are a few more ideas from Fiore on how to change the way you talk to yourself:
• Replace “I have to” with “I choose to.”
• Replace “I must finish” with “When can I start?”
• Replace “This project is so big and important” with “I can take one small step.”
• Replace “I must be perfect” with “I can be perfectly human.”
• Replace “I don’t have time” with “I must take time.”
• Replace “I wish I’d done that” with “What small step can I take now?”

Election predictions: The candidate in favor of GMOs, bankster bailouts and corporate domination will win!

(NaturalNews) I’m going to make a bold prediction about the outcome of the upcoming U.S. election: The winner will be the guy who supports GMOs and bankster bailouts. Which candidate is this? Well BOTH of them, of course.

In fact, I’m also 100% sure the winner will be the candidate who is in favor of going to war with Iran.

The winner will also be the guy in favor of increasing the size of government, either through entitlements or military spending.

Here are some other things I predict the winner will support:

• Continued erosion of civil liberties and the bill of rights

• The growth of federal power over states rights

• The continued currency monopoly of the private Federal Reserve

• The drugs-and-surgery health care system

• Continued criminalization of industrial hemp farming

• Continuation of electronic voting that allows corrupt political parties to steal elections

• Continuation of the Big Pharma medical monopoly over the U.S. healthcare system

• Continuation of the criminally-operated FDA, the corrupt USDA, the gang mafia DEA, and of course the gun-running ATF

• Continuation of the fluoride poisoning of the American people

• Continuation of nationwide vaccination programs that inject babies with mercury, MSG, aluminum and formaldehyde

• Continuation of the corrupt two-party political system and ongoing corporate lobbying that allows members of Congress to function as total sellouts

• Continued support of pesticide producers and the toxic contamination of the food supply with pesticide and herbicide residues

I’ve voted for the Constitution Party candidate since 2000 in the general elections (and for Ron Paul in the 2008 and 2012 primaries). I’ll likely vote Constitution Party again, to keep my hands and heart clean — standing up for what is right and not siding with evil. Our federal government is pretty much gone. Our hope now is local and in getting ‘ONE’ to happen — Jesus’ desire for us in John 17!
In 2008, Chuck Baldwin was on more state ballots than Virgil is today, but Virgil is still officially on the the Alaska ballot by write-in.
This was recorded during the INFOWARS Moneybomb a couple of weeks ago. The 3rd Party debate they’re talking about already happened; though, there is on more to come with Virgil present.

Larry King is really good at keeping it moving.

They all oppose the NDAA that Romney and Obama both fully support!

There is no doubt that Gary Johnson should have been allowed in the Presidential debates with Obama and Romney. The MSM has almost totally ignored him; though, he is on the ballot in all but 2 states, and has wide appeal. He certainly gets an ‘A’ for effort, and I agree with him on almost everything. Johnson is pro-choice regarding abortion.

I was hoping that Virgil Goode would have been more impressive, as I like the Constitution Party, but he didn’t even use all of his time to convince voters of his positions. Since he can’t win, why not take the time to educate (like Ron Paul would have and Gary Johnson certainly did), unless Goode isn’t even fully convinced of his own message. I wonder why he was chosen…. This is kind of pitiful. It’s like he’s just taking up space.

I voted Constitution Party in 2000, 2004 and 2008 in the Presidential election. And I voted for Ron Paul in the 2008 and 2012 primaries. I’m not yet sure what I’ll do this year. I may not vote for anyone, for the first time ever.

Without a radical change among the people, the two-party stranglehold will continue until America is done. It’s sad that they’re just going through the motions in this debate that hardly anyone will see. It really is a big deal that Gary Johnson has been intentionally kept out of the ‘official’ debates.

And I don’t fully understand why Ron Paul didn’t take up the Libertarian mantle instead of Gary Johnson. I was disappointed when I heard that Gary so eagerly took it. Dr. Paul could have possibly polled high enough to be in the mainstream debates (even though they’re requiring something like 15%, which is almost impossible when the MSM won’t give them coverage, unless it’s negative).

The third-party debate, sponsored by the nonprofit Free and Equal Elections Foundation and streamed online with host Larry King, offered up a heaping serving of candidates few voters have seen and issues President Obama and Mitt Romney have seldom raised — including drug legalization, climate change and indefinite holds on citizens suspected of terrorism.

Virgil Goode: Constitution Party Candidate for President

While all of the mainstream press focuses upon the phony horse race between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney for president, many Americans may be surprised to find that they will have several choices on their ballots in November. One of those other choices is the Constitution Party candidate Virgil H. Goode, Jr. and his vice presidential running mate, attorney Jim Clymer.

Labeled “Mr. Independent” by his home newspaper in Virginia, the Richmond Times-Dispatch, former six-term Virginia Congressman Virgil Goode has demonstrated a willingness to change parties when his principles did not comport with his party. Goode was elected to the Virginia state Senate as a Democrat, and served his first two terms as a congressman as a Democrat. But he became a political independent in the year 2000, and was reelected twice as an independent before switching to the Republican Party. Goode may have a major impact on the final race, as the former Virginia congressman is currently polling at five percent in the Virginia presidential primary. Virginia is a key swing state in the presidential race, and support for Goode could tilt the outcome of the state in the race.

Then when I try nicely to get it fixed 8 times they put a strike on our big free speech channel the Alex jones channel. We must stand together for free speech or we will lose it. Also to ad insult to outrage, YouTube also says I am a scammer in the strike notice to talk about their robots false takeover of videos but they have now removed the robot copyright flag, proving I was in the right!
