WHAT’S BEHIND THE MCCAIN SURGE?
When several major American newspapers act in unison to endorse the candidacy of someone like Sen. John McCain, who is out of money, pushing a warmongering agenda, and declining in the polls, it is clear there is manipulation afoot. Even Henry Kissinger chimed in with an endorsement of McCain, which is very telling. This week a lot of private phone calls were made as insiders worked their influence behind the scenes to manage media endorsements and reverse negative public perceptions about McCain. Up until last week, The Des Moines Register editorial board was negative on McCain and Clinton. Something turned them around this week to make them endorse McCain and Clinton and it wasn’t the candidates themselves. Last week the media was pushing Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and his Christian credentials (which they despise) in an effort to dampen the robust lead of Mitt Romney in both Iowa and New Hampshire. Yet, in contrast, there was hardly a word about the real surge in popular support for Congressman Ron Paul, except for the begrudging acknowledgment of his $6 million fundraising day on Dec. 16. This week I’ll analyze why the Powers That Be in Washington are worried this election might get away from them.

The last part of this interview got me thinking about the cities Joel metioned. They all have a heavy military presence and would be prime targets in a war with another world power. He also mentions Yamantau Mountain, a huge bunker the Russians have built. It’s 15x larger than our own Cheyenne Mountain.

INTRODUCTION
Strategic threats are carefully planned threats by predator nations or groups that transcend their own normal sphere of influence and threaten the entire world with conquest and/or control.
In this analysis I will discuss three current strategic world powers, which constitute a premeditated threat to world liberty, and the complex tactical maneuvers between them as they position themselves for the coming, inevitable conflict. Two of these world powers are nations–Russia and China–and the third is a transnational conspiracy of power by a combination of individuals in the West attempting to maneuver the world into a New World Order (NWO) of global control, euphemistically masquerading as a “global democracy.” I will refer to the latter as Western globalists.
All less powerful nations in the world fall under the influence of one of these three powers, either as direct allies, client states for the purchase of arms, and/or diplomatic allies working in collusion to further strategic goals of global hegemony.
There is one further complicating factor, however. The Western globalists are divided into two main factions: a US/British faction firmly in control of the financial means of the NWO, and a European faction of hard-core leftists, secretly aligned with Moscow, which controls the majority of votes in the General Assembly of the UN. I will attempt to describe each of the three power centers, their allies, and what I believe their individual strategy involves.

Enemy number one: Ron Paul is a target of the compromised “mainstream media” and that includes cable network propaganda machines like FAUX (FOX) News, MSNBC and CNN. This is a fact. They are powerful, they are rotten to the core. They cannot cast your vote. However, they can and do influence the herd who rely on someone else (Oprah Winfrey, Chuck Norris, et al) to tell them how they should vote. The attacks on Ron Paul will become more fallacious as we move along in the process. These buzzards who call themselves news anchors, commentators and fair and balanced have shown themselves to be just the opposite when it comes to one man’s run for the White House. …Ron Paul is not a good target for honest journalists, but he is for lying, conniving hacks who have sold their soul for a paycheck to the hand full of media conglomerates that control the entire flow of information in this country – excluding the big cannon, the Internet. Congressman Paul has been married to the same woman for almost 50 years, there are no doxies in the back ground waiting to come forward, no drug use, no scandals and no flip flopping on the issues. A steady rock. A moral man.
Enemy number two: Ron Paul supporters. What? Yes, and let me give you one example that came up last night on Glen Beck’s show. Glen Beck: “My life has been threatened. I`ve had to wear a vest and have securities. I`ve had an S.W.A.T. team watch my family because of people who say they support you.” Does anyone think this is a good way to support a candidate, not to mention stupid? …
Enemy number three: Electronic voting machines. If you have an agenda and you want it to go forward, you make sure the lawmakers and policy makers, both county, state and federal, are put in office and stay in office. THAT is the purpose of electronic voting machines. …

On Tuesday at 7 Eastern Glenn Beck interviews Ron Paul and scrolls the message Paul is Dead, Paul is Dead, Paul is Dead from Huckabee on the bottom of the screen.by Michael McDonnough
(Libertarian)

I find it very offensive for Glenn Beck to be scrolling the message Paul is Dead, Paul is Dead, Paul is Dead on the bottom of the screen during the interview with Ron Paul.
I think he should make it clear that he wishes no ill will to Dr. Ron Paul. His interview I thought was fair on the surface but he did take the interview into the typical conspiracy camp.
I would like to know why this guy Huckabee thought it appropriate to make this statement that was scrolling by during this interview? Ron Paul was right in that the threat of Theocons taking over the government is a serious threat to our nation. In his statement of earlier in the day he seemed a bit tired and un focused when he was hit with these off Fauxian questions.
I might add that Paul was talking about domestic threats to our nation at the moment that Huckabee’s death to Paul comments are scrolling by in this video.
The subliminals are pretty obvious to most any trained observer.
I am quite disgusted with Beck for this. I am pretty much disgusted with Huckabee for his statements as well, but that is politics. It is a dirty game. Here is the video.

Some thoughts I have, responding to the comments below.
Thanks for the feedback! Many good points!
It’s hard to say for sure what CNN’s motive was. Perhaps they were just reporting the news, or perhaps they knew exactly how “Paul is dead” would look underneath Ron Paul’s face during the interview, whether they played it before the interview or not.
The networks are owned by the globalist, one-worlders, who are totally aware that a Paul Presidency would seriously set back their fast-track, one-world-government timetable. So they try to marginalize Ron Paul every way they can, mostly by ignoring him (even in many of their polls), and instead trying to bring all of the attention to those whom they know will carry out their agenda, like Mike Hukabee.
Here, Paul finally got a chance to speak more than in just sound-bites (though they still didn’t cover a lot of ground). It is possible CNN ran this to get people to laugh at Paul, which is the Devil’s way.
But what interests me more is why did Mike Huckabee choose this particular expression, given that the opponent who seems to bother him the most is named Paul?
During one of the debates, Huckabee’s true colors came out when he viciously attacked Paul for Paul’s stand on the Iraq war. In my opinion, Huckabee was going for Paul’s jugular, and the words that came to mind were: “mean spirited,” which it just so happens he has a reputation for.
Just because a person was a pastor and says he follows Christ doesn’t mean he does follow Christ sufficiently enough for us to trust him to lead our country. Most evangelicals made this mistake with George W. Bush, and many still won’t see it, or at least admit it – as America is turned into a police state.
John Klar wrote an amazing book where he lays it out clearly: Christian Words, Unchristian Actions: George W. Bush and the Desecration of Christianity in Modern America. If the Evangelicals continue to push Huckabee so hard and he’s elected, John Klar may be able to write an even more tragic sequel.
Go Ron Paul!
Here is the ad Huckabee is referring to when he’s saying “Paul is dead,” to those who say the bookcase looks like a cross.
[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8xn7uSHtkuA]
Everything in short campaign ads is meticulously placed and perfectly lit to make the biggest possible impact. Here, the music is “Silent Night,” and they only have 30 seconds as the brightly lit cross (“It’s only a bookcase”) pans behind Mike Huckabee.
Note, the Christmas tree blocks the bookcase just enough to make the cross horizontally symmetrical, and the lighting is perfect to make the front edge far brighter than the inside of the shelves.
Accident? No way. And it’s like Huckabee to make a joke instead of answering directly – truthfully? And “Paul is dead” may be a joke against Ron Paul. We shouldn’t put it past him.
The cross motif has been done before:

[Click for more “Hitler wearing the cross…” photos]
I’m not saying that Huckabee is Hitler. I can see many good things in Huckabee. But as Ron Paul says: “Fascism comes wrapped in a flag, carrying a cross.”
The globalist elite could use Huckabee to carry out their Hitlerish wishes. But they’ll never be able to do that with Ron Paul, who bows to no elitist. Praise God!!!
We must be careful, you all, and not put it past them to use simple, stupid stuff like this to try to manipulate us.
Freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee————–dom!!!!!!!!!!!!

10-term, Republican, Congressman Ron Paul:
“I am committed to nonviolence – no initiation of aggression. …
I believe in political change coming about in the mode of Gandhi and Martin Luther King, through nonviolence. I happen to believe that we should practice these principles both domestically against individuals, as well as other countries.
This is the reason I don’t use aggression against other countries to bring about changes. I don’t ever want to initiate aggression. This is what is in our Constitution.
…our supporters have coined the words “LOVE” in the ‘REVOLUTION’ – and “peace” and “hope.”

For example, Mike Huckabee recently said he could support any of the other Republican Presidential contenders (including Rudy Giuliani), except Ron Paul.
According to the Associated Press, “Republican presidential hopeful Ron Paul’s supporters raised over $6 million Sunday to boost the 10-term congressman’s campaign for the White House.”
The AP report also said, “The [Paul] campaign’s previous fundraiser brought in $4.2 million.”
According to the Paul campaign website, “In a 24-hour period on December 16, the campaign raised $6.026 million dollars, surpassing the one-day record of $5.7 million held by John Kerry.
“During the day, over 58,000 people contributed to Dr. Paul’s campaign, including 24,940 first-time donors. Over 118,000 Americans have donated to the campaign in the fourth quarter.
“The $6 million one-day total means the campaign has raised over $18 million this quarter, far exceeding its goal of $12 million.”
Now, if one listens to most of the political pundits in the major media, Ron Paul is some kind of “kook,” and his supporters are also a bunch of “kooks.” So, the question must be asked, Just who are these kooks that are supporting him, and where did they get all this money?

Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul made history Sunday by raising $6 million in online contributions in 24 hours, breaking the record for the most money raised by a national candidate in a single day, and potentially putting Paul on track to surpass the fourth quarter fund raising of all of his competitors in both parties.
“I just think it’s extraordinary,” says Anthony J. Corrado, a campaign finance expert and professor of government at Colby College in Maine. “In my view, I expect that Ron Paul will raise more money than any other candidate this quarter. At this point, his main competition will be (Mitt) Romney’s checkbook.”
The effort was organized entirely by volunteers online.

Message from Ron (12/17/07)
What a day! I am humbled and inspired, grateful and thrilled for this vast outpouring of support.
On just one day, in honor of the 234th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party, the new American revolutionaries brought in $6.04 million, another one-day record. The average donation was $102; we had 58,407 individual contributors, of whom an astounding 24,915 were first-time donors. And it was an entirely voluntary, self-organized, decentralized, independent effort on the internet. Must be the “spammers” I keep hearing about!
The establishment is baffled and worried, and well they should be. They keep asking me who runs our internet fundraising and controls our volunteers. To these top-down central planners, a spontaneous order like our movement is science-fiction. But you and I know it’s real: as real as the American people’s yearning for freedom, peace, and prosperity, as real as all the men and women who have sacrificed for our ideals, in the past and today.
And how neat to see celebrations all across the world, with Tea Parties from France to New Zealand. This is how we can spread the ideals of our country, through voluntary emulation, not bombs and bribes. Of course, there were hundreds in America.
As I dropped in on a cheering, laughing crowd of about 600 near my home in Freeport, Texas, I noted that they call us “angry.” Well, we are the happiest, most optimistic “angry” movement ever, and the most diverse. What unites us is a love of liberty, and a determination to fix what is wrong with our country, from the Fed to the IRS, from warfare to welfare. But otherwise we are a big tent.
Said the local newspaper: “The elderly sat with teens barely old enough to vote. The faces were black, Hispanic, Asian and white. There was no fear in their voices as they spoke boldly with each other about the way the country should be. Held close like a deeply held secret, Paul has brought them out of the disconnect they feel between what they know to be true and where the country has been led.”
Thanks also to the 500 or so who braved the blizzard in Boston to go to Faneuil Hall. My son Rand told me what a great time he had with you.
A few mornings ago on LewRockwell.com, I saw a YouTube of a 14-year-old boy that summed up our whole movement for me. This well-spoken young man, who could have passed in knowledge for a college graduate, told how he heard our ideas being denounced. So he decided to Google. He read some of my speeches, and thought, these make sense. Then he studied US foreign policy of recent years, and came to the conclusion that we are right. So he persuaded his father to drop Rudy Giuliani and join our movement.
All over America, all over the world, we are inspiring real change. With the wars and the spying, the spending and the taxing, the inflation and the credit crisis, our ideas have never been more needed. Please help me spread them https://www.ronpaul2008.com/donate in all 50 states. Victory for liberty! That is our goal, and nothing less.
Sincerely,
Ron

“It was very difficult for Ron Paul to get attention. We had to come up with a way for him to get press,” [Trevor] Lyman says….
Like many Paul backers, Lyman is a political novice. He’s never even bothered to vote. But he had to act, he said, when the new Democratic majority in Congress didn’t pull the troops out of Iraq. Lyman was drawn to Paul because of his promise to end the war immediately.
“I know my tax dollars are being used to kill people,” Lyman said. “It makes me feel horrible.”
Lyman knows that Paul’s views make him an outsider. But he sees the flood of Paul donations as representing “the will of the people.” The Internet, he said, made it possible

For years, no military program has sparked more fevered speculation from conspiracy theorists than the mysterious High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program, or HAARP. And for years, the Pentagon has been pooh-poohing speculation that the enormous collection of transmitters, radars, and magnetometers in Alaska was some sort of superweapon.
But, it turns out, the conspiracy theorists may not have been entirely off-base, after all. …
Another interesting feature is how HAARP can influence the ‘auroral electrodynamic circuit’, a natural flow of electricity with ranges from 100,000 to 1 million megawatts (“equivalent to 10 to 100 large power plants”). Messing with the electrical properties of the ionosphere means some of this tremendous flow of power can be changed at the flick of a switch. In effect, the natural flow can be modulated to create a gigantic low-frequency radio transmitter.

“A few years ago, I belonged to a small group that was looking for Presidential candidates. The man who led the group was Howard Phillips, and he had contacted the people who worked very closely with Ron Paul from the Libertarian group. And they said, ‘we’re not going to let Ron Paul run for the Presidency.’ And of course, Howard Phillips said, ‘why not?’ And they said, simply ‘because if it looked like he was going to win they would kill him.’
And they weren’t joking at all. In America, today, if you are effective in exposing what I believe is a Luciferian force working behind the scenes in both political parties, they will kill you. Or they will discredit you. Or they will do something to destroy you.”

Best-selling author and Bilderberg sleuth Daniel Estulin says he has received information from sources inside the U.S. intelligence community which suggests that people from the highest levels of the U.S. government are considering an assassination attempt against Congressman Ron Paul because they are threatened by his burgeoning popularity.
12/21 Update:
Investigative reporter Daniel Estulin has gone further with his bombshell revelation first voiced last week that political insiders are considering a plot to assassinate Ron Paul, today identifying the Neo-Con camp as being behind the potential hit.
Appearing on The Alex Jones Show, Estulin said that his sources for the information were real patriots who love America and are desperate to see the truth get out, but that he always took the precaution of getting verification from more than one individual on each piece of information he releases.
“What I said about Ron Paul last week came from two different people who don’t know each other,” said Estulin, adding that his source had in turn got the information from sources within the Neo-Con camp and that it was individuals from within the Neo-Con camp that are considering what would happen if Ron Paul was assassinated.
