“CNN’s Caitlyn Collins asked Donald Trump a good question when he was at NATO, the same question. Was your intelligence coming from Israel or the US, that Iran was just a few days away from a bomb? And Trump refused to answer. It’s pretty obvious.

And what we know about that Senate briefing is, well, one figure wasn’t allowed in there. DNI Tulsi Gabbard, because they didn’t want her to present the American assessment. The assessment that came through was definitely the Israeli assessment, and the person presenting it was the Mossad stenographer, CIA director John Ratcliffe.

We had reported on John Ratcliffe’s role at basically being the the the hand puppet of his counterpart in Israel, Mossad director David Barnea at the Greyzone. We reported this based on a source in the Trump administration and now it’s all out in the open. Everything we reported is all out there for everyone to see, confirmed by Mossad director David Barnea who delivered a video message per personally thanking Ratcliffe for the role that he played in advancing his manipulation game with Donald Trump.

And one thing that we were told at the Grayzone, that was being presented via Ratcliffe to Trump was the obvious lie that Iran could not only produce a nuclear warhead in a few days, but that it planned to transfer it to the Yemen Houthis within a week unless Donald Trump acted. And then we can see how the senators, the Republican senators are are are falling for this either because they’re suggestible dupes or because they’re just willfully doing it.”

What the president of the United States did was profoundly unconstitutional, absolutely unlawful; was an impeachable offense, and was a war crime. Under our Constitution, only the Congress can declare war, not the president. And Congress can only declare war on a country that poses an immediate and grave military threat to the United States of America. President Trump has started a war with Iran which poses no threat, let alone immediate or grave whatsoever to the national security of the United States of America.

Under an unconstitutional statute — but still the law, the War Powers Resolution — the president is required to give notice to Congress and give Congress an opportunity to respond before he attacks a foreign country. He can carry out the response, but he has to tell Congress and give Congress an opportunity to respond. He not only ignored the Constitution, he ignored that law — as unconstitutional as it is it hasn’t been tested by the courts — it is still the law. The president ignored it.

Killing people and destroying property in another country without a just cause is a war crime. It is the moral and legal equivalent of a high crime and misdemeanor. It is an impeachable offense, and it is time for the American public and the Congress to do something about it.

CIA Says No Evidence Iran Has Decided To Build a Nuclear Weapon

The comments from CIA Director William Burns come amid calls for Israel to strike Iran’s nuclear facilities

CIA Director William Burns said Monday that there’s no evidence Iran has decided to build nuclear weapons, comments that come amid calls in the US and Israel for strikes on Iranian nuclear sites.

“No, we do not see evidence today that the supreme leader has reversed the decision that he took at the end of 2003 to suspend the weaponization program,” Burns told the Cipher Brief security conference, according to NBC News.

In 2003, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei issued a fatwa prohibiting the development of nuclear weapons or other weapons of mass destruction. His predecessor, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, also rejected the idea of starting a WMD program while facing chemical attacks from a US-backed Saddam Hussein during the Iran-Iraq War in the 1980s.

Burns said that if Iran did move to make a nuclear weapon, US intelligence would likely be aware of the decision. “I think we are reasonably confident that — working with our friends and allies — we will be able to see it relatively early on,” he said.
