My Notes:
At 00:40, it’s likely the suddenly louder, high pitch sounds are probably bullets hitting something very close, or metallic. In almost all of the volleys, the bullets striking sounds are heard first, followed by the low frequency thump sounds of the weapon being fired.
At 2:20, it’s easy to hear the bullets hitting first (high pitch), followed by the delayed arrival of the gun firing sound (low frequency thumps), since the speed of the bullets is faster than the speed of sound.
I wonder what the guy is saying at 01:10.
Really interesting at 03:35. Distant, low frequency thumpy sound gunfire can be heard with no high pitch, striking-object sounds at all. And then all of a sudden, high frequency sounds can be heard, which aren’t followed by the distant thumpy sounds at all, indicating the shooter was close. And then the guy says: “that’s real close.” Must be a different gun, really close.
04:10 Again, distant, thumpy sounding shots are heard without any high frequency sounds.

This video forensically critiques a nearby machine gun sound that’s heard in the middle of a long volley of shots fired by a distant, higher caliber, machine gun.
My thoughts — I was involved in discussions in the comment section, in which this and more was discussed:
The distant gun’s rate of fire is very consistent, except briefly, at the start. When the high frequency crack sounds appear at 01:00, the *speed increases* and the  *variability is erratic* (some shots are close together, some further apart).
High frequencies fall off quickly over distance, which is why the distant gun report sound has no high frequencies.
The high frequency crack sounds are nearby, supersonic bullets breaking the speed of sound. They could either be incoming bullets from a distant gun or bullets shot nearby from a silenced gun, in which only the crack would be heard.
Since the crack sounds’ rate of fire at 01:00 is faster and erratic, these sounds can’t be from the distant gun, but are likely from a smaller gun that has a faster firing rate, explained in the video.
Also, the crack sounds *suddenly* appear and then disappear — no fade in and fade out, which would happen if bullets were getting closer and then further. A distant gun firing continuously can’t bring in bullets to a location this rapidly without the shots being heard getting closer.
Loudspeaker myth refuted:
Also, many ‘truthers’ still claim that no bullets were fired (and even that nobody died). They say we’re hearing sounds played by loudspeakers. Loudspeakers can’t do this, even if it was surround sound (speakers were probably all up front — not surround).
1) Cameras inside and outside of the venue would not have picked up the same volleys of gunfire from the distant guns.
2) In different videos taken within the venue, gunfire sounds vary significantly in the *high frequency*, supersonic crack sounds, which is impossible to do with a concert sound system. Some videos capture the sound of nearby objects being hit, agreeing with eyewitness testimony.

“This video was filmed during the Las Vegas shootings on October 1, 2017 from outside of the Route 91 Harvest Festival Gate 2B of the Las Vegas Village, which is on S. Las Vegas Blvd, north of Mandalay Bay Road (across from Luxor).”
This is a “zoomed in” version of this video.
There is no evidence of broken windows on any footage until the next morning; however:

[UPDATE] This video doesn’t show any broken windows in Mandalay Bay while shots are being fired, but the black area on the right edge of the building (that includes the higher, Four Seasons window and Paddock’s right window) looks like the shadow detail is gone digitally, photographically speaking. There is no visual info there — no digital information — unlike the front part of the building where Paddock’s left room is, which is lit.
All of the windows in the front part reflect in unison. If Paddock’s left window was blown out, it would appear black, but it’s reflecting like the others.
Whereas this area on the right is darker than what the camera could record, so there is no detail there to show a broken window, it looks like to me. The original footage, before it was compressed onto YouTube, may have the detail though.
Wherever the shots came from, they had to be using effective flash hiders, unlike the *muzzle break* shown on Paddock’s gun lying on the floor, which would have put out a huge flash for all to see. Modern *flash hiders* can make the flash undetectable.
This is the best video I know of that shows this area. The right edge of Mandalay looks like it’s completely black, no digital info there at all. So a window could have been broken there and we wouldn’t be able to see it.
Shots could have come from the Four Seasons, and both of Paddock’s rooms couldn’t have been broken at this time, it seems clear to me.

It’s not wise to fully trust Scott Binsack, especially with money, but he’s a go-getter, and does some interesting, original research. Here he is at Mandalay Bay, showing what his room looks like, including the windows.
Some think there were shooters on other floors in Mandalay Bay, because they saw flashing lights on lower floors. But the flashes in the windows were probably reflected flashes from elsewhere (including possibly chopper anti-collision strobes), because the windows are mirrors.

Some are saying flash suppressors can’t completely hide muzzle flash. Maybe that was true from when they were in the military, but today, many brands virtually hide all light coming out of the barrel — including full auto. It can barely be seen from 10 feet away! Here is video proof! Great song in the first video, by the way.
Some of the videos below show how giant the flame coming from the barrel of an AR is when not flash suppressed. A friend told me: there were no reported flash suppressors or hiders found on any of the guns in the Paddock room. If Paddock was firing from Mandalay Bay, all of the videos should show it. But there is nothing.
The shots had to come from elsewhere: helicopters, rooftops, and/or the ground, from guns that had flash hiders.
