Previous studies have pointed out the benefits of moderate alcohol consumption as a factor in lowering cardiovascular risk. In a study conducted by the Department of Family Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina, researchers found that middle-aged non-drinkers who began consuming moderate amounts of alcohol saw an immediate benefit of lower cardiac disease morbidity with no change in mortality after four years.

Several pastors and church related ministries have publicly declared that they are taking on the IRS in this election year in a no-holds-barred fight. If the IRS doesn’t like it, they can basically go take a hike because it’s going to be business as usual with them, even if their tax-exempt status is put in jeopardy.
[…]
Instead of lawsuits and imprecatory prayers, it might be time for pastors and churches to repent for the sins of our preacher fathers who got us into this tax-exempt scheme three generations ago, and to repent ourselves for remaining in a system that muzzles us from being the prophetic voice for God that we are supposed to be in this day and hour.

This Lufthansa Airbus A320 suffered a wing-tip strike before executing a go-around during an attempt to land at Hamburg International Airport during high winds on 1 March. The A320, identified as D-AIQP, was apparently arriving on runway 23 after a domestic service from Munich. Its left wing-tip contacted the runway and the aircraft drifted far to the left of the centreline before the crew aborted the landing. Local reports, citing maintenance sources, indicate that the jet escaped with only superficial damage.

With about half the precincts counted (what’s the rush — it’s Texas) Paul was thumping Friendswood City Councilman Chris Peden by two-to-one.

Newly-released records obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request contradict the 9/11 Commission’s report on the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks and raise fresh questions about the role of Saudi government officials in connection to the hijackers.
The nearly 300 pages of a Federal Bureau of Investigation timeline used by the 9/11 Commission as the basis for many of its findings were acquired through a FOIA request filed by Kevin Fenton, a 26 year old translator from the Czech Republic. The FBI released the 298-page “hijacker timeline” Feb. 4.
The FBI timeline reveals that alleged hijacker Hamza Al-Ghamdi, who was aboard the United Airlines flight which crashed into the South Tower of the World Trade Center, had booked a future flight to San Francisco. He also had a ticket for a trip from Casablanca to Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.

San Jose police are to begin using high tech sound wave weapons that are designed to disperse crowds by firing concentrated beams of sound at 150 decibels, causing intense pain and possible deafness.
The police department is to get $27,000 in state grant money to purchase the device, which is the exact same model used by armed forces against insurgents in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The dish-shaped, sonic weapon is officially called a Long Range Acoustic Device — or L-RAD.

McCain ‘Very Honored’ By Support Of Pastor Preaching ‘End-Time Confrontation With Iran’
Yesterday, hard-line conservative Pastor John Hagee, founder of Christians United for Israel, endorsed John McCain. Hagee said that McCain “is a man of principle, [who] does not stand boldly on both sides of any issue.” McCain, who had been courting the endorsement for over a year, said that he was “very honored by Pastor John Hagee’s endorsement.” …
In a 2006 address to CUFI, Hagee declared:
The United States must join Israel in a pre-emptive military strike against Iran to fulfill God’s plan for both Israel and the West… a biblically prophesied end-time confrontation with Iran, which will lead to the Rapture, Tribulation, and Second Coming of Christ.

An online tool that claims to reveal the identity of organisations that edit Wikipedia pages has revealed that the CIA was involved in editing entries.
Wikipedia Scanner allegedly shows that workers on the agency’s computers made edits to the page of Iran’s president.
It also purportedly shows that the Vatican has edited entries about Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams.
The tool, developed by a US researcher, trawls a list of 34m edits and matches them to the net address of the editor.

GRIFFIN IS BACK IN WIKIPEDIA!
Last week my biographical listing in Wikipedia was deleted after being on line for about five years. The reason was that some of Wikipedia’s administrators do not like my view that there are hidden agendas in banking and government and they do not favor my advocacy of natural health without drugs.
When I announced this in Unfiltered News, it triggered a wave of indignation that flooded the Internet and talk shows. Friends and supporters were angry that Wikipedia has no problem listing Hitler, Stalin, Mao Tse Dong, Al Capone, or even John D. Rockefeller’s father William Avery Rockefeller who, according to Wikipedia itself: “was a quack doctor and a confidence trickster;” yet, the editors found me to be so offensive that I had to be removed from the Internet lest my ideas contaminate the public mind.
Then, on Friday afternoon, my listing suddenly was back, although drastically scrubbed to omit almost anything that might create a favorable impression. Gone is recognition of my participation on the Board of Directors of The National Health Federation and The International Association of Cancer Victors and Friends. There is no mention of The Audio Archives or my founding and leadership of The Cancer Cure Foundation, Freedom Force International, The Coalition for Visible Ballots, The Reality Zone, or Unfiltered News. Even my photo is gone.
(Well, maybe that’s a good thing after all.) Of course, they were careful to let readers know that my works are “controversial” and that most doctors do not agree with my conclusions regarding cancer therapy. I have no objection to that because, basically, those are true statements, but I do object to their omitting the fact that there is massive support for my views and that there are several million readers of my works, which currently are published in five countries. All of that is true, also.
Nevertheless, the bright side is that the outcry was sufficiently strong to at least cause my listing to be restored. That’s progress! Thank you for your support.

I don’t necessarily agree with Dr. Deagle on everything, but he has a lot of information that Americans should be privy to. I was looking forward to hearing this Coast to Coast AM interview with host, George Noory.
Then just hours before the interview, I saw his name replaced on the Coast to Coast schedule.
But all things considered—in George Noory’s defense—if George exposed too much, and didn’t have enough seriously disinfo programs (like he really does have), he would no longer be host on this widely listened to Clear Channel program.
So although it’s easy to become disappointed with some of George’s priorites, at least some of the truth is getting out over the public radio waves—which sometimes happens on Coast to Coast in a big way.
Like last night, when a creationist, scientist spoke the truth about how Genesis 1-11 can be totally trusted [However, my personal opinion is that the Noah’s ark discovery info was disinfo, as I think Ron Wyatt already discovered it]. And the guest who replaced Dr. Deagle, Kathryn Albrecht was outstanding! George even pledged that he would tell the truth about the microchips and the Mark of the Beast as long as he is on radio.
So despite some of the negatives, I’m very thankful for George. In many ways he’s a true gentleman and is probably taking the show as far as Clear Channel will let him.
Every once in awhile he’ll have a really great show. And so far this week he’s had two! And Steve Quayle is scheduled to be on tonight. So three great shows this week—which is very rare for Coast—in my opinion! Sometimes, for weeks it seems it’s very much yucksville.
I try to look at the schedule regularly to see if anything good will be on.
Power to the people—sort of!

In a ceremony that received virtually no attention in the American media, the United States and Canada signed a military agreement Feb. 14 allowing the armed forces from one nation to support the armed forces of the other nation during a domestic civil emergency, even one that does not involve a cross-border crisis.
The agreement, defined as a Civil Assistance Plan, was not submitted to Congress for approval, nor did Congress pass any law or treaty specifically authorizing this military agreement to combine the operations of the armed forces of the United States and Canada in the event of a wide range of domestic civil disturbances ranging from violent storms, to health epidemics, to civil riots or terrorist attacks.

If another candidate did that? I mean there’s other candidates who would have 300, and it would be on national news.
So you get marginalized there. You get marginalized in the debates.
Basically, I had 1/3 the time the other ones had.”
