Joe Biden, our creepy vice president who manages to put his foot in his mouth over and over again is the choice left wing progressives are falling in line behind like lemming’s at the cliff’s edge.
Biden has enabled the disastrous Drug War and played a key role in militarizing law enforcement. He considers domestic crime to be a national security issue on par with terrorism and worked hard in the Senate to push through draconian legislation, including mandatory minimum sentences and the creation of a cabinet-level drug czar.
He has worked tirelessly to destroy the Bill of Rights, enable unconstitutional civil asset forfeiture and expand the prison-industrial complex comprised largely of non-violent drug offenders.
Since 2001, the Department of Homeland Security has given out more than $34 billion in grants to police departments across the country, allowing them to purchase military-grade weapons, including tanks, armor, and armored personnel carriers. This apparatus is less concerned with drugs and terror than it is controlling the American people and targeting political enemies.
The prospect of Joe Biden taking the Democrat nomination merely reaffirms the fact the oligarchy in control of America prefers deeply corrupt politicians who can be trusted to carry out the police state agenda.

Biden says culture and arts change people’s attitudes. He cites social media and the old NBC TV series “Will and Grace” as examples of what helped changed attitudes on gay marriage.
Biden says, quote, “Think — behind of all that, I bet you 85 percent of those changes, whether it’s in Hollywood or social media, are a consequence of Jewish leaders in the industry.”
Biden says the influence is immense and that those changes have been for the good.
Biden was speaking Tuesday night at a Jewish American Heritage Month reception hosted by the Democratic National Committee. He says Jewish values are an essential part of who Americans are.

Sen. Biden returns to campus during United Nations week U.S. Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr. (D-Del.), a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee since 1972, said last Thursday he did not understand the importance of collective security for the nations of the world until he graduated from the University of Delaware in 1965.
In a speech celebrating United Nations Week, Biden said professor emeritus Leroy Bennett and other political science professors who taught him were wise to espouse the value of the United Nations as a valuable peacekeeping tool. Meeting with world leaders, Biden said he has “on more than one occasion, been brought back in my mind to classes I took with Dr. Bennett,” a man Biden called “well ahead of his time.”
In his speech in Clayton Hall, “On the Threshold of the New World Order: A Rebirth for the United Nations,” Biden said the world’s leaders must adopt a new understanding of security. “Collective security today must encompass not only the security of nations,” he said, “but also mankind’s security in a global environment that has proven vulnerable to debilitating changes wrought by man’s own endeavors.

Biden stressed that, if nuclear containment efforts fail, the United States “must be able to use force to stop rogue nations like North Korea” from collecting additional weapons of mass destruction. The “new world order” also should include a new role for NATO, he said.

On Wednesday during a press conference with attorney general Eric Holder, vice president Joe Biden said president Obama is considering taking “executive action” to restrict the Second Amendment rights of the American people.
“The president is going to act,” said Biden. “There are executives orders, there’s executive action that can be taken. We haven’t decided what that is yet. But we’re compiling it all with the help of the attorney general and the rest of the cabinet members as well as legislative action that we believe is required.”
“As the president said, if you’re actions result in only saving one life, they’re worth taking. But I’m convinced we can affect the well-being of millions of Americans and take thousands of people out of harm’s way if we act responsibly.”
In other words, according to the Obama administration and the Justice Department, if trashing to Constitution saves one life, it is worth it.
Issuing an executive action, unlike an executive order, does not modify a law. Executive actions, a Obama administration office told NBC News in October, concern “regulation, enforcement, statements of policy… and numerous other things.”
Obama, unlike his predecessors, “is not expanding executive power to meet the demands of an external crisis. Instead, he is counteracting a new pattern of partisan behavior – nonstop congressional obstruction – with a new, partisan pattern of his own,” Andrew Romano and Daniel Klaidman wrote for Newsweek prior to the election.
White House communications director Dan Pfeiffer told Newsweek Obama will “work with Congress where we can – and then be willing to act where they won’t.”
Obama has already used executive action to instruct the ATF to conficate guns. In September, Obama’s Justice Department gave the ARF authority to “seize and administratively forfeit property involved in controlled-substance abuses.” In other words, the agency now has the power to size firearms from people not convicted of a crime or even charged with a crime.
In July, as the Fast and Furious scandal unfolded, Obama’s Justice Department devised new rules requiring border-state gun dealers to report large purchases of firearms made by individual buyers over short periods of time.

Joe didn’t mean it in 2007, of course. He was running for president, after all. The hand-picked minions of the elite who are permitted to pretend they will run the country always tell lies. It’s in their job description. Most Americans understand elections are all about promising the moon and delivering nothing but an IOU. Still, they turn out to vote for these guys.
The elite and their brokers at the United Nations wanted this shabby little war waged against Libya. Biden is simply taking orders, as usual. It does not matter an iota what he said in 2007. And the corporate media, of course, will not hold him to that comment. It’s bad enough that the Obama White House is willing to surrender to Moscow over the heavily flawed New START Treaty, but does it have to resort to impersonating Russia’s leaders too? Watch this astonishing clip (hat tip: RealClear Politics) of Vice President Joe Biden’s interview with Andrea Mitchell during a taping of Hardball with Chris Matthews on MSNBC. In the video, an angry Biden warns Republican senators Jim DeMint and Jon Kyl to “get out of the way” in reference to their efforts to delay a vote on the hugely controversial treaty until the new US Congress sits in January.
Even by Biden’s undiplomatic standards, this was an extraordinary outburst against democratically elected representatives of the American people, displaying what can only be described as utter contempt for political opposition in a free society. His remarks also came just six weeks after his party suffered a humiliating defeat in midterm elections, amidst overwhelming disenchantment with the Obama presidency.
It is a sad day for democracy in America when the ruling elites feel they can act with impunity. As a former senator himself, Joe Biden must surely understand that the US Senate plays a vital role in checking the power of the Executive Branch, and deserves to be treated with respect. After all, this is not Moscow, Mr Vice President, but the capital of the free world.
