Alisha Owen, one of the victims of the Franklin Credit Union Scandal of the 1980s in Omaha, Nebraska. Sexually trafficked as an adolescent and set up for a prison bid, Alisha spoke out about her perpetrators and became an enemy of the state. State and federal grand juries indicted her on 16 counts of perjury, and she was staring at 200 years in prison, but she refused to recant accounts of her abuse. A Nebraska state Kangaroo Court found her guilty on all counts of perjury, and she was sentenced to between 9 and 15 years in prison. The authorities really attempted to destroy her by placing her in solitary for nearly 2 years. Alisha continues to demonstrate that people can have spirits that are indestructible.
Tucker is getting out of Fox’s can’t compete clause by saying Murdoch broke his end of the contract. Tucker would have been silenced until 2025, otherwise.
In a letter from Carlson’s lawyers to Fox News, they argue that Carlson’s noncompete clause in his contract, which runs through 2025, is no longer valid, alleging Fox employees, including “Rupert Murdoch himself,” broke promises to Carlson “intentionally and with reckless disregard for the truth.”

The Big Lake They Call Gitche Gumee…
There was a rare beacon lighting at Split Rock Lighthouse on Lake Superior this evening to honor the life and music of Gordon Lightfoot, who passed away earlier this week. The beacon, which was decommissioned in 1969, is always lit on November 10th to honor the 29 lives lost on that day in 1975 when the lake freighter Edmund Fitzgerald was sunk in a stormy gale. It’s one of only a few times per year they illuminate the beacon. For many, Lightfoot’s song about that night resonates every time they visit The Lake. That was surely the case tonight at Split Rock. The light of the near full moon lit the scene nicely. Waves lapping at the shoreline with a gentle, cool breeze. Perfect evening. Thank you to Hayes and the crew for lighting the candle tonight.
Every time my high school and college friend, Steve and I would drive up to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA in NE Minnesota) to go canoeing, we listened to Gordon Lightfoot’s music much of the way, and would stop at Split Rock Lighthouse. I remember once cooking our macaroni and cheese in a crack in the ground by the cliff, since it was so windy.
Great movie about Gordon Lighfoot’s life, released in 2019! Gordon speaks a lot in the film at about age-80, and is pretty honest about things he regrets having done. This is the first time I’ve seen his story told. His music meant a lot to me in the ’70s!
NOTE: I’ve found Suzanne LaFrance to be very kind, but she’s hard left in her political ideology and voting track record.

FBI head J. Edgar Hoover was blackmailed himself, before blackmailing many others
CIA head William Casey was also compromised — homosexual escorts.

Sexual blackmail isn’t needed as much now, because mass surveillance technology makes it easier than ever to blackmail people.

Epstein also met with a variety of other people, such as Ariane de Rothschild, chief executive of the Swiss private bank Edmond de Rothschild Group; Joshua Cooper Ramo, former co-chief executive of Henry Kissinger’s corporate consulting firm; and Chomsky, the linguistics professor who taught at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Matt Johnson commented:
AFP has always been a Trojan Horse inside the conservative movement. The Koch brothers are globalist tools. Don’t forget they not only opposed Joe Miller in Alaska, but also Ted Cruz and Donald Trump on the national level. Get smart people. This is not an organization you can count on.
So Americans for Prosperity helped keep Joe Miller from defeating Lisa Murkowski, when he almost did. That’s disgusting and sickening!
The Dalai Lama apologizes for asking a young boy to suck his tongue? We take a look at a number of gurus like Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Gandhi, the founder of Bikram Yoga, and show how depraved people can be when fighting against sin without the Holy Spirit.
I don’t believe in morality… and I am bent on destroying it…. I believe in consciousness, not conscience.

My ashram [spiritual community] makes no difference between the Devil and the Divine…. I use all sorts of energies. And if the devilish energy can be used in a divine way, it becomes tremendously fruitful.

Wanting to meet potential partners through dating apps like Tinder is “normal,” and the church’s teaching on sex is “still in diapers,” Pope Francis said in a conversation with a group of young people gathered in Rome.
..the young people, a mix of Catholics, Christians, agnostics, atheists and a Muslim, asked the pope if he has a salary (no), a cellphone (no) and what he thinks about young people meeting romantic partners on Tinder.
“It’s normal,” he said. “Young people have that eagerness to meet each other, and that’s very good.”
In a conversation on pornography and masturbation opened by a young woman who says she creates adult content, the pope said that “expressing yourself sexually is a richness,” but that “everything that diminishes real sexual expression diminishes you too, it makes you partial, and it impoverishes that richness.”

“..the Dalai Lama asked the boy to come up to the platform where he was seated. Touching his cheek, he said, “first here”, after which the child kissed him and gave him a hug. The Tibetan leader held him lovingly in his arms and said, “I think here also” — and he planted a kiss on his lips. And then he asked the boy to “suck my tongue”, sticking out his tongue. Forehead to forehead with the Dalai Lama, the boy quickly stuck out his tongue.” (source)

Masters champion Scottie Scheffler meets with the press following his victory at Augusta National on Sunday.
APRIL 11, 2022
As of Sunday evening, Scheffler is now a Masters champion as well. …
Later in a press conference with the media…. Scheffler then opened up about his faith.
“The reason why I play golf is I’m trying to glorify God and all that He’s done in my life,” he said. “So for me, my identity isn’t a golf score. Like Meredith told me this morning, ‘If you win this golf tournament today, if you lose this golf tournament by 10 shots, if you never win another golf tournament again,’ she goes, ‘I’m still going to love you, you’re still going to be the same person, Jesus loves you and nothing changes.’ All I’m trying to do is glorify God and that’s why I’m here and that’s why I’m in [this] position.”
Scheffler continued on to say he felt God’s presence on the course Sunday.
Very interesting history of Joe Rogan’s strong atheist view now becoming more open to Christianity being the way and the truth.
The presenter believes in “once saved always saved” though — pooh-poohs Rogan’s guest who says we have to actually live for Christ.

Dustin is a good guy in many ways, so I don’t understand why Dustin keeps doing this. Breaks my heart. I also live in West Anchorage, and have seen the frustration in good candidates trying to win when Nial Sherwood Williams also has acted as spoiler. It takes the wind out of conservative candidates’ sails, and discourages their potential donors from donating.

Because Darden doesn’t raise any money and never mounts a real campaign, he has a low ceiling of 12-15% at most. We’ve seen Darden play spoiler before, and in a tight West Anchorage race, he could again.

Solar storm and a stormy state senator
Mar 24
Disturbing the peace
Sen. Cathy Giessel of South Anchorage was having a bad day. Although she had eight constituents in Juneau for three days, she simply could not find time to meet with them, not even for five minutes.
The visitors made multiple requests of Giessel’s long-suffering staff, but the answer was always that she was too busy to meet with people from her district.
So the group from South Anchorage attended the floor session and when it came time for the introduction of guests, Giessel did not turn to face or acknowledge them, but simply read their names into the record and sat down. We’re not sure she even gave a perfunctory clap. The Senate was stunned at the rudeness on display to her eight constituents, something not seen in the Senate Chambers ever before. …
With Giessel, there were also some rude side remarks lobbed at some of the eight constituents after the Senate adjourned, caught by those standing in the hallway. When approached by a constituent, who greeted her and extended a hand for a handshake, Giessel crushed her fingernails into the woman’s hands, quite painfully and with apparent purpose. Word to the wise: Steer clear. Something is clearly wrong with Senator Giessel.

Suzanne Downing reporting from Alaska’s capitol:
“The legislators are treating each other well, with respect. I will say that I’ve noticed that Cathy Giessel is not particularly in that category. She strives through the hallways and treats people with imperious* disregard. … Cathy Tilton, as the speaker of the house is doing a fantastic job, and there is just very little drama.”
*’imperious’ – unpleasantly proud and expecting to be obeyed
