In June, the Department of Defense Task Force on Mental Health acknowledged “daunting and growing” psychological problems among our troops: Nearly 40 percent of soldiers, a third of Marines and half of National Guard members are presenting with serious mental health issues. They also reported “fundamental weaknesses” in the U.S. military’s approach to psychological health. That report was followed in August by the Army Suicide Event Report (ASER), which reported that 2006 saw the highest rate of military suicides in 26 years. And last month, CBS News reported that, based on its own extensive research, over 6,250 American veterans took their own lives in 2005 alone — that works out to a little more than 17 suicides every day.
…But I find myself extremely anxious in the face of some of these new suggestions, specifically what is being called the Psychological Kevlar Act of 2007 and use of the drug propranalol to treat the symptoms of posttraumatic stress injuries. …What they have come up with has already been dubbed “the mourning after pill.” Propranalol, if taken immediately following a traumatic event, can subdue a victim’s stress response and so soften his or her perception of the memory. That does not mean the memory has been erased, but proponents claim that the drug can render it emotionally toothless. …
But is it moral to weaken memories of horrendous acts a person has committed?

If the reader has not already done so, I again urge you to read the book, Hitler’s Cross, which was written by Erwin Lutzer and published by Moody Press. This book should be “required reading” for every pastor and Christian layman in America. In his book, Lutzer focuses on the attitudes and actions of Germany’s pastors and churches during the rise and reign of the Third Reich. It is a masterpiece.
For those of us living in a country and time far removed from Hitler’s Germany, it is hard to comprehend how that nation’s Christians–and especially its ministers–could have been so thoroughly taken in by old Adolf. We assume such an event could never happen again–especially to us. However, to any honest observer of history, the conditions of the Church in America today are eerily similar to those of the Church in Nazi Germany.
…When Ron Paul was asked about Mike Huckabee’s overt usage of a cross for a campaign advertisement, he quoted Sinclair Lewis as saying, “When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in a flag and carrying a cross.” Many Christians railed against Dr. Paul for making this comment. However, the truth is, Ron Paul (himself a committed Christian) is one hundred percent right! Of course, there were a few in Germany who saw through Hitler’s deception. Dietrich Bonhoeffer was a Christian minister who actively opposed Hitler by organizing what he called the “Confessing Church.” These were believers who would not surrender Christ’s sphere of authority to Hitler. They saw through “Hitler’s Cross.” Unfortunately, of the more than 14,000 pastors in Germany, only 800 joined with Bonhoeffer.
To the vast majority of Germany’s pastors, Bonhoeffer was an “extremist,” or a “kook,” or a “nut.” They relegated Bonhoeffer to the fringe of Christendom. They believed Hitler and repudiated Bonhoeffer; they chose Hitler’s “German Church” over the Confessing Church. …
For example, Mike Huckabee’s success in Iowa is largely due to the pastors and Christians of that State buying into his “Christian” campaign. In a manner very similar to the 2000 campaign of George W. Bush, Huckabee has carried his political campaign on the Cross. At the same time, however, Mike Huckabee (as does George W. Bush) embraces and promotes globalism. And, unfortunately, many Christians and pastors do not seem to notice or care.

All that pressure must go somewhere, Resick says. Men with PTSD often are angry and act out aggressively. Women often turn inward and become depressed, she says. Both men and women “try not to deal with it” and often take years to seek counseling, Resick says.

A Larger World View of the Coming World War: Each year we see the US engaged in extensive military and covert intervention in nearly every country of the world–either under the guise of spreading democracy or promoting US interests. This intervention is the real source of hatred against America, not our freedoms. However, the true globalist purpose of all this intervention is to antagonize the world, control essential resources necessary for a future war, and to induce a massive nuclear retaliation against the US military that will create a world conflict sufficiently horrible to induce Western nations to yield essential sovereignty to a NWO. As I documented in recent briefs, however, that strategy was halted, temporarily, for the first time that I can remember. The US was planning on a massive air assault on Iran this winter but decided to postpone that attack, perhaps out of fear that another aggressive intervention and unpopular war, based on manipulated intelligence, could affect the upcoming primary elections in favor of Ron Paul–the only Republican anti-war presidential candidate–who is already dangerously close to breaking out of the single digits in the polls. I believe it was also feared, correctly, that the fragile state of the US dollar could not handle another trillion dollars in deficit spending while the establishment was busy funneling at least a trillion dollars into the world economy to bailout subprime mortagage holders and the banks that brokered these debt instruments (still ongoing).
The Bush administration has used the phony war on terror as a pretext in a seven year campaign of devious and manipulative legal wrangling to undermine Constitutional protections of the people and to incite false patriotism.

When Joseph Farah started WorldNetDaily, I was a big fan – proudly displaying my WorldNetDaily: A Free Press for a Free People bumper sticker on my car. I thought Farah was really pro-freedom.
But then came 9/11, and Afghanistan (yuck!), and Iraq (quadruple yuck!). Farah supported all of the knee-jerk reactions, and wouldn’t print anything contrary to the corporatocracy, pro-war line. And now it seems there is no end in sight.
Chuck Norris continues Farah’s philosophy in this pro-Huckabee, Jesus-is-pro-our-wars article. Norris writes:
That’s another reason I’ve endorsed Mike Huckabee. He’s also the only presidential candidate who publicly values the Second Amendment as much as the First. He reminds Americans that our Second Amendment gun-bearing rights were given not merely as a license to hunt, but a protection against tyranny.
At least Farah, as editor in chief, must know better: the only presidential candidate line patently ignores the champion of the Constitution, 10-term congressman, Ron Paul. WND completely ignores Congressman Ron Paul and his total support of the United States Constitution (no other candidate comes close). And Paul is especially strong on the right to bear arms to protect ourselves even against our own government if it becomes tyrannical.
To justify Huckabee’s pro-preemptive war stance, the famous kick-fighter mentions a specific situation in which God told the Children of Israel to kill every man. Norris is correctly stating that Jesus already has supported war. But then Norris wants us to make the leap that because Jesus supported that war he now supports Bush’s (and Huckabee’s continuation of) The Project for a New American Century’s (PNAC) globalist wars??
God gets a bad rap for that particular kill-them-all mandate, but there is a very important, but little-known, bizarre reason why God righteously commanded the Children of Israel to preemptively kill the giants (the Genesis 6 and-after-that, Nephilim hybrids) in the promised land. Satan’s plan was to occupy Canaan with “his own seed” in advance of Abraham’s seed so they would interbreed and contaminate the human race. See:
Our totally holy Creator is very serious about the taking of human life. He was then and is now.
George W. Bush and our future President don’t have this same mandate, no matter what W thinks God told him about Iraq. And we must consider that anyone who supports this “kill them over there” philosophy is a murderer in heart. This mentality is polluting “the church,” sickening our nation, and turning the world against us and even Jesus!
Instead of electing another like the President we have, we should be contritely reconsidering our position and support a more Christlike, a more Prince-of-Peacelike international policy. “They’ll know us by our love.”
Norris continues:
(Of course every dagger draper must also wrestle with his caution, “for all those who take up the sword shall perish by the sword”!)
Will this scripture come true for America? Will America perish by the sword as China and/or Russia take us out? For based upon their own statements, Huckabee would not exercise sufficient caution when it comes to war. Only Ron Paul would. Only Ron Paul would restore our credibility. If we sow peace, we’ll reap peace. If we sow war, we’ll reap war. And we’re no longer the only big boy on the block, China for example.
WND asks:
WWJW [What would Jesus war]?
No question that Jesus Christ has called us to love our neighbors as ourselves, turn our other cheek in sacrifice for another, and pray for our enemies. And so we should. However, he also realizes criminals and terrorists will confront us and calls us to defend and protect our families and borders too.
I agree, but have we really prayed for whom the neocons say are our enemies? Do we really love Iraqi men, women, children and old folks as much as we love American men, women, children and old people? As many as hundreds of thousands of the innocent have died, and their nation is in shambles. Even most of the Christians have fled. And we’re responsible. And incredibly, many “Christians” are willing to do the same thing all over again in Iran. “Pastors” are even drum-beating for this next, preemptive war.
How would we like it if Iraq had been the stronger power and invaded us for the attrocities we really have committed around the world for decades, which included our supplying biological weapons to Sadam Hussein. Bush then played the “weapons of mass destruction” card to justify taking him out, but the real reason was because Sadam was no longer under our thumb and was getting in the way of his daddy’s New World Order’s agenda – which the Bible predicted but in no way supports.

And be separate,’ says the Lord,
‘Touch no unclean thing.
I will receive you. (2Cor. 6:17)
Ron Paul, a sincere Christian who most evangelical leaders won’t support, believes in hands off until necessary: a strong military defense, but only to be used as a last resort and only when our families and borders are truly in peril. This is Jesus’ way. We need to separate ourselves and come out of the Antichrist, beast system.
Norris incorrectly concludes:
The baby born in a manger 2,000 years ago was not only a Savior, but a God of war. But, even more, he is a Prince of Peace who spiritually waged war on our behalves to bring us peace with God and a promise to live forever in heaven.
Jesus isn’t just a Prince of Peace, He is THE Prince of Peace who resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.
James 4:1 (WEB) Where do wars and fightings among you come from? Don’t they come from your pleasures that war in your members? 2 You lust, and don’t have. You kill, covet, and can’t obtain. You fight and make war. You don’t have, because you don’t ask. 3 You ask, and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures. 4 You adulterers and adulteresses [America?], don’t you know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. 5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who lives in us yearns jealously”? 6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” 7 Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Lament, mourn, and weep. May the pro-preemptive-war ‘church’ humble themselves and repent to the world for what they’ve done, or we will all pay the consequences. Ron Paul is our chance, our God-given chance to repent. Too many Bush and Huckabee supporting, evangelical ‘churches’ are merely “partysville” – all smiles but no real joy and peace within. The remedy is above in verse 9 & 10, and politically, I believe, in Ron Paul’s “humble” foreign policy.
Chuck Norris ends with this certainly well meaning but very problematic prayer:
Jesus, I accept that you were born with a mission to die. I believe you spiritually waged war on the cross by taking the punishment for me there to pay for my sins. I open the door of my heart right now and invite you in as my Lord and Savior. Take control of my life. Teach me to be your follower. Thank you for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. In Your name I pray. Amen.
This is problematic, because praying “Jesus…take control of my life” while publicly supporting unnecessary mass killing is like the popular, female, ‘Christian’ singer who sings “Jesus Take the Wheel” before millions while clearly disregarding the Apostle Paul’s mandate that Christian women dress modestly.
We can thank God for forgiving our sins and giving us eternal life, believing the promise to live forever in heaven, like Norris states. But will this promise apply to us if we aren’t truly peacemakers?
According to the Prince of Peace, we can only be children of God if we really are peacemakers:
Blessed are the peacemakers,
For they shall be called children of God. (Mt. 5:9)
Jesus doesn’t mess around. He doesn’t just say things and not mean them. Every word of the Bible can be trusted, and we’ll be judge by it.
If we hate we’re in trouble. He wants us pure, like Him. Our goal is too small. And love, peace and joy is just around the corner – that blissful corner that we take to live in Him!
The Bible also says this about who the children of God are:
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God. (Rom. 8:14)
We just can’t do our own thing and think we’re in because positive-encouragement-only “Christian” music and “Christian” preachers say so, telling us what we want to hear. But what does the Bible say? We must be led by the Spirit, Who is the Prince of Peace, not preemptive war.
We should really, seriously pray: Lord Jesus, the Prince of Peace, take the wheel. Really.
Quoting Chuck’s prayer, but said differently: Jesus, take control of my life. Teach me to be your follower. Teach us whom you want us to vote for, and teach us how to love the Iraqis, Iranians and even our worst enemy as much as we love ourselves?
Ron Paul is a true peacemaker and child of God. Now is our chance!

The Pentagon recently reported that it now spends roughly $8.4 billion per month waging the war in Iraq, while the additional cost of our engagement in Afghanistan brings the monthly total to a staggering $10 billion. Since 2001, Congress has spent more than $500 billion on specific appropriations for Iraq. This sum is not reflected in official budget and deficit figures. Congress has funded the war by passing a series of so-called “supplemental” spending bills, which are passed outside of the normal appropriations process and thus deemed off-budget.
This is fundamentally dishonest: if we’re going to have a war, let’s face the costs– both human and economic– squarely. Congress has no business hiding the costs of war through accounting tricks.
As the war in Iraq surges forward, and the administration ponders military action against Iran, it’s important to ask ourselves an overlooked question: Can we really afford it? If every American taxpayer had to submit an extra five or ten thousand dollars to the IRS this April to pay for the war, I’m quite certain it would end very quickly. The problem is that government finances war by borrowing and printing money, rather than presenting a bill directly in the form of higher taxes. When the costs are obscured, the question of whether any war is worth it becomes distorted.
Congress and the Federal Reserve Bank have a cozy, unspoken arrangement that makes war easier to finance. Congress has an insatiable appetite for new spending, but raising taxes is politically unpopular. The Federal Reserve, however, is happy to accommodate deficit spending by creating new money through the Treasury Department. In exchange, Congress leaves the Fed alone to operate free of pesky oversight and free of political scrutiny. Monetary policy is utterly ignored in Washington, even though the Federal Reserve system is a creation of Congress.
The result of this arrangement is inflation. And inflation finances war.
Economist Lawrence Parks has explained how the creation of the Federal Reserve Bank in 1913 made possible our involvement in World War I. Without the ability to create new money, the federal government never could have afforded the enormous mobilization of men and material. Prior to that, American wars were financed through taxes and borrowing, both of which have limits. But government printing presses, at least in theory, have no limits. That’s why the money supply has nearly tripled just since 1990.
For perspective, consider our ongoing military commitment in Korea. In Korea alone, U.S. taxpayers have spent $1 trillion in today’s dollars over 55 years. What do we have to show for it? North Korea is a belligerent adversary armed with nuclear weapons, while South Korea is at best ambivalent about our role as their protector. The stalemate stretches on with no end in sight, as the grandchildren and great-grandchildren of the men who fought in Korea give little thought to what was gained or lost. The Korean conflict should serve as a cautionary tale against the open-ended military occupation of any region.
The $500 billion we’ve officially spent in Iraq is an enormous sum, but the real total is much higher, hidden within the Defense Department and foreign aid budgets. As we build permanent military bases and a $1 billion embassy in Iraq, we need to keep asking whether it’s really worth it. Congress should at least fund the war in an honest way so the American people can judge for themselves.

The kingdom of God and the kingdom of this world are two very separate things. One uses the sword (power over) to influence people; the other uses love (power under). To understand this distinction is much easier than letting it affect the way we live. Greg continued to discuss the differences between these kingdoms and how we are to live within the distinction.

Before the war, it’s estimated there were about a million Christians in Iraq. They were a small minority, but free to worship, free to build churches, and free to speak the ancient language of Jesus, Aramaic. But, after the invasion, Muslim militants launched a war on each other and the cross.On Sunday, Aug. 1, 2004, five churches were bombed. The Iraqi Christian community, which had survived invasions by Mongols and Turks, was driven out under American occupation. No one can be sure, but Canon White estimates most of Iraq’s Christians have fled or been killed. Those still here are too old, too ill or too poor to run.

There is something homespun about Paul, reminiscent of “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington.” …
Paul grew up in the western Pennsylvania town of Green Tree. His father, the son of a German immigrant, ran a small dairy company. Sports were big around there — one of the customers on the milk route Paul worked as a teenager was the retired baseball Hall of Famer Honus Wagner — and Paul was a terrific athlete, winning a state track meet in the 220 and excelling at football and baseball. But knee injuries had ended his sports career by the time he went off to Gettysburg College in 1953. After medical school at Duke, Paul joined the Air Force, where he served as a flight surgeon, tending to the ear, nose and throat ailments of pilots, and traveling to Iran, Ethiopia and elsewhere. “I recall doing a lot of physicals on Army warrant officers who wanted to become helicopter pilots and go to Vietnam,” he told me. “They were gung-ho. I’ve often thought about how many of those people never came back.”
Paul is given to mulling things over morally. His family was pious and Lutheran; two of his brothers became ministers. Paul’s five children were baptized in the Episcopal church, but he now attends a Baptist one. He doesn’t travel alone with women and once dressed down an aide for using the expression “red-light district” in front of a female colleague. As a young man, though, he did not protest the Vietnam War, which he now calls “totally unnecessary” and “illegal.” Much later, after the United States invaded Iraq in 2003, he began reading St. Augustine. “I was annoyed by the evangelicals’ being so supportive of pre-emptive war, which seems to contradict everything that I was taught as a Christian,” he recalls. “The religion is based on somebody who’s referred to as the Prince of Peace.”

DRAMATIC REVELATIONS: THE AARON RUSSO INTERVIEW ABOUT NICK ROCKEFELLER
Hollywood documentary producer Aaron Russo is not the typical pro-government Hollywood director. He produced the dramatic pre-9/11 exposé on the Bush administration, “America: Freedom To Fascism”–a video that the establishment didn’t like at all. Russo tells, a few years later, how his normal friends in Hollywood began to try and dissuade him from taking this anti-government stand. One of those friends was an attorney named Nick Rockefeller– yes, of THE Rockefeller family.
Thinking Russo was a typical Hollywood liberal that could easily be dissuaded, Rockefeller opened up to Russo about a lot of the things the establishment had planned, including the “terror” attack on the WTC, well before 9/11. He was clearly trying, as Russo says, to recruit him to their side. Rockefeller even knew that the powers in Washington would use the terror attack as a provocation to go into Afghanistan and Iraq. He joked about how Russo would see on television US soldiers “looking around in caves for Osama bin Laden” but would never find him. Rockefeller was cynical Russo said, and relatively unguarded.
I believe all of this is credible. We’ve never had any of the high level conspirators admit to their plans, but this comes the closest because Rockefeller didn’t intend it to be a confession to the world. Rockefeller is probably regretting now that he spilled the beans to Russo, but that’s water under the bridge (or perhaps even Russo’s death warrant someday). Rockefeller talked about how they funded, through the Rockefeller family foundation, the Feminist movement in order to break up the American family and get more women out in the workplace and more children in daycare–so split and stressed families would begin to “look to the State as their family.” He mentioned goals to depopulate the world, to get people to eventually accept imbedded microchips (and how the elite could gain instant immunity by having their chips encoded with a special code telling all police that this person is part of a special group and not to be arrested). Aaron Russo (February 14, 1943 – August 24, 2007) was an entertainment businessman, filmmaker, libertarian political activist, and 9/11 ‘conspiracy theorist’ (which is what everyone is called by the whole western worlds ‘truth spreading media’ who questiones our highly praised ‘elite and leaders’).
He is most known for producing the movies Trading Places, Wise Guys, and The Rose. Later in life he created the documentaries Mad as Hell, which calls into question the current state of governmental affairs and America: Freedom to Fascism, which investigates the breadth of the Sixteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, the IRS, and the Federal Reserve System. After a six year battle with bladder cancer, Russo died on August 24, 2007.
About 11 months before 9/11 Aaron Russo talked with Nicholas Rockefeller (one of all the traitors in the famous and praised Rockefeller family) where he (Nicholas Rockefeller, removed from the reliable Wikipedia that has NO connections whatsoever with the corrupt banking industry!!…Ha-ha!!!) admitted that the elite’s goal is to microchip the world’s entire population in order to control and enslave everyone to 100 %.
He also revealed that the events on 9/11 and the so called ‘War on Terror’ was a complete fraud in order to acheive their goal’s. …
