I watched about 5 hours of the 2-day event. Krystal does a great job explaining the ways Israel is trying to weasel their way out of this, denying their atrocities and trying to play the victim. In the first minute of Israel’s defense today, they played the Holocaust card loudly to guilt the court into ignoring what they’ve done to the Palestinian imprisoned population.
24:45 KEY POINT: The day before South Africa presented their case, Netanyahu said for the first time that Israel is not interested in driving the Palestinians in Gaza out of Israel, which many of their leaders have said is their goal, and it’s been clear by their massive destruction of Gaza that’s their intent โ no homes left to go back to. Plus, Israel has been negotiating with countries, trying to get them to accept the survivors into their countries.
