• The war’s escalation began with passage of the Tonkin Gulf Resolution. The justification given was an alleged attack on U.S destroyers by Vietnamese torpedo boats on August 4, 1964. This is what today’s truthers call a “false flag.” James Stockdale, Congressional Medal of Honor recipient, was a pilot then stationed in the Tonkin Gulf. Called to the scene of the alleged attack, he saw no Vietnamese boats during 1 and 1/2 hours of overflight. He detailed this in his memoir In Love and War, writing: “We were about to launch a war under false pretenses… I felt it was a bad portent that we seemed to be under the control of a mindless Washington bureaucracy, vain enough to pick their own legitimacies regardless of the evidence.”

Lest there be any misunderstanding, I am ANTI-WAR. A war, like a gun, should only be used as an absolute last resort. The “Arab Spring” wars inflicted on the Middle East over the past fifteen years, which were already planned in 2001, are abominations. But as we’ll see, the Vietnam War was undertaken for complex purposes, and was in several ways unlike America’s other conflicts.
As is still widely unknown, the hippie/antiwar movement of the sixties, like today’s Soros rioters, was billionaire-funded, in this case by the Rockefellers.
After 16 years, significantly, all truth seekers and tellers agree that jet planes did not take down the Twin Towers plus Building 7. It’s been scientifically proven through peer review papers. And the University of Alaska just finished a study concluding the official explanation for Building 7’s free-fall collapse is false.
Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth have proven the use of nano-thermite at the Twin Towers. Some truthers now claim that mini-nukes were used either instead of, or in addition to — as in Jim Fetzer.
Some even claim that no planes hit the Towers, the “no plane” theory — as in Jim Fetzer.
What’s frustrating to me is how there are too many emotionally charged opinions and not enough discussions, so truthers don’t get on the same page. Mike tells John Stadtmiller (link below) that he and Jim have talked about having a debate, but Mike doesn’t seem to be interested enough for it to happen.
More importantly, a debate, or better yet, a discussion between James Fetzer and Richard Gage (A&E for 911 Truth) could be very fruitful, as long as Jim Fetzer would be open to what the truth really is, instead of emotionally pushing his opinions to win. Truthers need to appreciate each other more.
Also, who did it is more important than how it happened. Few talk show hosts are willing to have Christopher Bollyn on, or everyone would know.

The Real Facts On Meat and Cancer
There has been a media attack on meat recently, and the cheers and jeers are rolling in. Vegetarians and vegans are spreading the message in hopes that people will finally realize that eating meat is an unethical and unhealthy thing to do, and Paleo supporters are fighting the news and proclaiming that eating meat is natural and healthy, and in no way causes cancer.

So eating meat can have positive health benefits, if it is properly raised and fed, and primarily combined with other nutrient dense and easily assimilated foods, like organic produce.
So can eating meat cause cancer? Yes, if you eat the denatured, processed, and diseased kind, along with other heavily processed and genetically modified foods. However, it can also have a disease preventative effect if it is pasture raised and fed, eaten in smaller portions, and paired with more nutritious and “light” foods.

The Black Family Is Struggling, and It’s Not Because of Slavery

That the problems of today’s black Americans are a result of a legacy of slavery, racial discrimination, and poverty has achieved an axiomatic status, thought to be self-evident and beyond question.
This is what academics and the civil rights establishment have taught. But as with so much of what’s claimed by leftists, there is little evidence to support it.
The No. 1 problem among blacks is the effects stemming from a very weak family structure.
Children from fatherless homes are likelier to drop out of high school, die by suicide, have behavioral disorders, join gangs, commit crimes, and end up in prison. They are also likelier to live in poverty-stricken households.
But is the weak black family a legacy of slavery?
In 1960, just 22 percent of black children were raised in single-parent families. Fifty years later, more than 70 percent of black children were raised in single-parent families.
Here’s my question: Was the increase in single-parent black families after 1960 a legacy of slavery, or might it be a legacy of the welfare state ushered in by the War on Poverty?
According to the 1938 Encyclopaedia of the Social Sciences, that year 11 percent of black children were born to unwed mothers. Today about 75 percent of black children are born to unwed mothers.
The social goal of media such as this is to forward the degeneration of the youth, encouraging them to become mindless followers of pop culture and nothing more than sexual objects.

These displays of patriotic propaganda, called “paid patriotism,” were brought to light in April 2015, when Arizona Senator Jeff Flake released a statement condemning the practice.
Then in November 2015, Flake and fellow Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain issued a report stating that the U.S. Department of Defense had been paying the NFL for patriotic displays in football and other sports between 2011 and 2014:
Contrary to the public statements made by DOD and the NFL, the majority of the contracts — 72 of the 122 contracts we analyzed — clearly show that DOD paid for patriotic tributes at professional football, baseball, basketball, hockey, and soccer games. These paid tributes included on-field color guard, enlistment and reenlistment ceremonies, performances of the national anthem, full-field flag details, ceremonial first pitches͕ and puck drops. The National Guard paid teams for the “opportunity” to sponsor military appreciation nights and to recognize its birthday. It paid the Buffalo Bills to sponsor its Salute to the Service game. DOD even paid teams for the “opportunity” to perform surprise welcome home promotions for troops returning from deployments and to recognize wounded warriors. While well intentioned, we wonder just how many of these displays included a disclaimer that these events were in fact sponsored by the DOD at taxpayer expense. Even with that disclosure, it is hard to understand how a team accepting taxpayer funds to sponsor a military appreciation game, or to recognize wounded warriors or returning troops, can be construed as anything other than paid patriotism.
