(NaturalNews) One of the most common question I’m asked these days is also one of the easiest to answer: Is Alex Jones for real? In a word, yes.
But there’s more to it than that, of course. The whole story doesn’t become fully apparent until you’re hanging around Alex Jones in person, at his studios in Austin, and talking with the entire crew of mission-driven people who produce the InfoWars / PrisonPlanet material that has grown into a global media giant (and a force of truth to be reckoned with).
As someone who is a regular in-studio guest on the Alex Jones Show — and an occasional fill-in host on the few days when Alex isn’t hosting the show himself — I’ve had the opportunity to spend some time with Alex Jones behind the scenes. Off the air.
And that’s where this story begins to get even more interesting. Because Alex Jones is the same authentic person off-air as he is on-air. Alex isn’t an act, in other words. He’s the real deal, and the authenticity of who he is and what he believes comes through 100 percent whether he’s speaking to an audience of millions or just chatting with you in the hallway.
Perhaps that’s why we get along so well. I have zero tolerance for B.S. in the people I choose to support or spend time with, and spending time around Alex makes it apparent that he feels exactly the same way. That’s probably why so many of our heroes are the same people — people who aren’t afraid to tell the truth and don’t pull any punches: Gov. Jesse Ventura, Rep. Ron Paul, Paul Craig Roberts, Gerald Celente and so on.
It’s also probably why neither one of us wears makeup on camera, and we don’t dress up with a special on-camera wardrobe (I usually show up at his studio with my blue jean ranch shirt). Alex doesn’t wear a bunch of bling, and he doesn’t drive some fancy car to try to impress people on the road. He’s here to share his analysis on what’s really happening with the world, and he doesn’t try to sugar coat it or spice up the ratings by hiring some supermodel to mindlessly read a teleprompter (CNN, anyone?).
Authenticity in every sentence
With Alex, whether it’s on the air or off, you don’t get a teleprompter-reading, focus-group researching, makeup artist pretender. You get a live, authentic human being with all his passions, strengths, flaws and quirks all rolled into one. A real person, in other words. Not some pretender who modifies his position based on what the polls say. Alex tells you what he truly believes, not what he thinks you want to hear.
And that’s the core trait of Alex, when you get right down to it. This man speaks from his heart in every word he says. In those words, if you listen carefully, you’ll find Alex’s deep-rooted compassion for all humankind. He cares deeply for the future of the human race. In fact, he’s one of the most caring and generous people I’ve ever met. He cares so much that he’s willing to put his life on the line to help protect freedom for YOUR children.
He also understands human civilization. He’s an avid reader of history and can cite the year and the people involved in nearly every major event throughout world history, from modern times all the way to the Roman Empire. Because he understands human history, he also knows just how fragile complex societies really are, and he’s fully aware of how quickly and easily “good government” devolves into police state tyranny. It has happened countless times throughout history, and through his radio show and websites, Alex is simply reminding us all to wake up and pay attention… because it’s happening again!
Is Alex Jones a government agent?
Hilariously, this is one of the repeated bizarre accusations leveled against Alex Jones — no doubt by people who themselves are government agents trying to spew disinfo. The accusation goes like this: Alex Jones must be a government agent because no one achieves success at the level Alex has achieved unless they’re working for the globalists in some way.
Except there’s one problem with that piece of fiction: Only LAZY (and corrupt) people make it to the top with the help of the globalists (people like George Bush, get it?). In great contrast to that, Alex Jones is the hardest working person I’ve ever met. He’s earned every ounce of his radio and internet success through 16+ years of blood and sweat. He works three times as hard as any mainstream news reporter or TV news personality you’ve ever seen, and he’s sacrificed time with his family in order to put more time into InfoWars coverage of important global events.
He sacrifices the quality of his own life, in other words, to bring you more videos, special reports, documentaries and ongoing coverage of things that truly impact not just your life today, but our collective future. He technically deserves something like the Congressional Medal of Honor, but of course the President would never award such a high honor to an actual patriot who exposes the lies and corruption of Big Government.
I have no doubt that Alex has a pivotal role to play in what is soon to become American history: Virtually everything he’s telling you right now — the coming financial collapse, the FEMA camps, the police state crackdowns — is about to become a documented fact of history. Read this story again in three years and you’ll see what I mean.
How does Alex see the future? It’s not voodoo…
Alex has been right on so many things for so long that people often forget he’s actually one of the best current events analysts on the planet. When he says something that’s two or three years ahead of the curve, it often sounds to mainstream people like he’s nuts or something, but if you just wait to see what unfolds, you’ll realize oh my God, Alex was right!
For one, he told the world that Rick Perry would run for President two years ago (if not sooner). He called the 2006 / 2007 housing bubble crash. He call the government 9/11 a hoax long before the thousands of architects and engineers proved him right. He has accurately called every major event in the world — the Oslo “terrorist” hoax, the distortions on the war in Libya, the FBI staging fake terror events in the USA, Obama’s plot to destroy America’s economy with the help of the global banksters, and so much more. Going back through the archives of Alex Jones’ shows (www.PrisonPlanet.TV) is like reading the works of a prophet of some kind who saw visions of what was coming and simply told people what he saw.
Except Alex will be the first to tell you don’t call him a prophet. He doesn’t ask for any special recognition or credit, and his analysis of world events comes through hard work and razor-sharp intelligence, not through some spooky crystal ball. He’s just GOOD at seeing through the veil of government lies. He’s so good that at times it seems like he’s psychic. But he isn’t. He’s just really, really good at reading between the headlines and understand the real plots, motivations and schemes behind Big Government’s propaganda campaigns.

Not just courage, but brains, too
On top of all that, Alex is just plain smart. This throws some people, because I’ve seen more than a few high-brow Ivy-League snobs leap to the conclusion that Alex isn’t very bright because he doesn’t talk like a Harvard smarty pants. But underneath that Texas tone, and behind the occasional growl or on-air scream, Alex Jones is nothing less than a research genius. His ability to remember a vast array of events, dates, sources and names, and then tie them all together in sweeping explanation of what’s really going on is deservedly legendary. There aren’t very many people on our planet who have the ability to assemble hundreds of related facts and then immediately see the plot behind those facts.
He’s so good at this that if the U.S. government actually had any brains, it would try to hire Alex as an intelligence analyst. He would never accept the job, of course. He’d rather analyze intelligence data for the people — We the People — instead of working for any government.
That’s because he’s authentically dedicated to protecting freedom in America. With Alex, it’s not just some casual talk. It isn’t a spin line. It’s his life. He lives it, and defends it, and would die for it if necessary.
Very few people alive today understand their role in history, but Alex knows his very well: He’s going to keep sounding the alarm bells until enough people wake up to take back their freedom or we’re all overrun by government tyrants and end up facing a firing squad. Either way, Alex knows he did his duty, and that’s more than I can say for nearly every member of the U.S. Congress and most of power-hungry bureaucrats running government today.
Too much fear?
Does Alex focus too much on the fear and the problems of the world? That’s one of the most common criticisms leveled against him (and leveled against myself, too). To answer this, first realize that somebody has to sound the alarm. If we are to all wake up and realize what’s being done to us (by the Fed, with vaccines, fluoride, chemtrails, etc.) then somebody needs to raise the red flags. That’s what Alex does, and he’s the best there is at getting it done.
In fact, I dare say that if you listen to Alex Jones and read Jim Marrs, you will have one of the best-informed views of real world events of anybody on the planet. (You might want to read NaturalNews, too, if you’re interested in health freedom.)
To those who criticize Alex Jones for sounding the alarm, I ask, “What have YOU done for the Republic lately?”
For most people, the answer is nothing. Most people sit around and do absolutely nothing while their freedoms are stripped away, their savings are stolen and their health is ruined by a criminal medical establishment. Taking action, you see, takes courage, and courage is hard to come by these days. That’s where Alex really shines: He’s never afraid to raise the big issues, ask the big questions and put his own life and reputation on the line to find answers that ultimately benefit us all.
Alex is the warrior who stands guard at the village entrance, protecting us from marauding dragons (and the King’s tax collectors). He puts his own life on the line to protect others — even when most of those other people have no idea they’re being protected in the first place.
People of principle
Personally, I feel honored to know Alex and to be a guest on his show from time to time. That’s why I fill in as a host whenever he asks me to. I never ask for compensation, and I never exploit his show for any kind of personal gain. I fill in for Alex because it’s an honor to work with the InfoWars team and be part of this ever-expanding freedom movement that’s already shaping the future of our world. There aren’t too many people in the information industry I would volunteer to help, but Alex has earned my respect.
Far from being a publicity seeker, Alex is a principled individual. He believes in liberty, justice, the Constitution and fundamental human rights (such as the right to grow our own food). He rightly believes that the grave injustices being carried out today by corporations and governments really are something to scream about. And he’s already decided that no matter what personal risks he might be taking in spearheading the release of this information, living a life with purpose is far more meaningful than just sitting back and accepting the status quo like the mainstream zombies who take their vaccine shots, eat their processed foods and allow themselves to be hypnotized by television news.
We need more people like Alex Jones in the world, I believe. He’s a defender of justice and a protector of society. He’s earned every inch of success that he has achieved, and if our world were more just, people like Alex would be heralded as sacred truth tellers who wake us from our sleepwalking lives and bring us back to our senses. If anything, Alex is a de-hypnotist whose words can break the spells of Big Government propaganda and give us back our reason — and our senses — at a time when clarity of mind seems to be in short supply.
I’m happy to know Alex, because before I met him, I was beginning to wonder if I would ever meet anyone who shared my passion for the truth, my desire to expose government fraud and my sense of duty to the People. Alex represents all that and more, and he’s a Great American — a true patriot — along the lines of Paul Revere.
What have YOU done for the Republic lately?
To those who would question or criticize Alex, I dare ask: What have YOU done for the Republic lately?
Most people live their lives obsessed with their own selfishness; chasing tail, coveting bling, puffing up their own egos, achieving “personal success” but not even making a dent on the big issues that really matter: Freedom, truth, justice, exposing fraud, protecting the innocent…
I know LOTS of people who are “successful” in terms of how much money they’ve collected for themselves. They mistakenly think they’re successful because they’ve collected more “stuff” even while the world around them is crumbling. But few people care enough to do anything about it. Most people are cowards who refuse to take a stand against the FDA, against government tyranny, or even against their local city council’s water fluoridation schemes. Only the brave few are willing to step forward and challenge tyranny in the name of freedom and justice.
Alex Jones is one of those people — and perhaps the most effective of them all. Alex and I don’t agree on every single thing (we famously had very different views on the movie Avatar, and I’ve been meaning to buy Alex some little Avatar action figures as a joke…), but I find that on the big issues that really matter, Alex Jones is spot-on accurate. He even taught me a thing or two about the fraud behind the climate change scare mongering: Those polar bears aren’t drowning, folks. They’re swimming! In a response to a question asked by Infowars correspondent Robert Wanek at Iowa State University during the recent Ames straw poll, Ron Paul said that the federal government was preparing for civil unrest and martial law in the United States.

Paul was asked for his opinion on whether H.R. 645 (The National Emergency Centers Establishment Act) could lead to Americans being incarcerated in detention camps during a time of martial law.
“Yeah, that’s their goal, they’re setting up the stage for violence in this country, no doubt about it,” responded Paul.
The National Emergency Centers Act or HR 645, first introduced in January 2009, mandates the establishment of “national emergency centers” to be located on military installations for the purpose of providing “temporary housing, medical, and humanitarian assistance to individuals and families dislocated due to an emergency or major disaster,” according to the bill.
The legislation also states that the camps will be used to “provide centralized locations to improve the coordination of preparedness, response, and recovery efforts of government, private, and not-for-profit entities and faith-based organizations”.
Ominously, the bill also states that the camps can be used to “meet other appropriate needs, as determined by the Secretary of Homeland Security,” an open ended mandate which many fear could mean the forced detention of American citizens in the event of widespread rioting after a national emergency or total economic collapse.
The legislation was referred to Committee and did not proceed any further, but it was not rejected in a vote and can be re-introduced at any time in a new session of Congress.
As we reported yesterday, in the aftermath of the UK riots, police departments in the United States are being trained to deal with rioting and civil unrest.
Back in 2008, U.S. troops returning from Iraq were earmarked for “homeland patrols” with one of their roles including helping with “civil unrest and crowd control”.
In December 2008, the Washington Post reported on plans to station 20,000 more U.S. troops inside America for purposes of “domestic security” from September 2011 onwards, an expansion of Northcom’s militarization of the country in preparation for potential civil unrest following a total economic collapse or a mass terror attack.
The United States has continuity of government plans in place should martial law be declared by the President. However, the details of those plans have been so tightly guarded that even Congressman and Homeland Security Committee member Peter DeFazio (D – OR), who has the necessary security clearance, was denied access to view the material when he requested to do so back in July 2007.
“I just can’t believe they’re going to deny a member of Congress the right of reviewing how they plan to conduct the government of the United States after a significant terrorist attack,” DeFazio told the Oregonian at the time, adding, “Maybe the people who think there’s a conspiracy out there are right.”
Congressman Paul has warned about preparations for martial law before, telling the Alex Jones Show, “They’re putting their back up against the wall and saying, if need be we’re going to have martial law.”

Love may indeed be the reason the media ignores Ron Paul. Under this theory, the media is merely trying to provide us with loving protection from Paul and those challenging libertarian ideals:
Such as the view we shouldn’t be eager to be groped in airports or to fund another war in the Middle East, or that we should legalize drugs rather than fight the drug wars, or the wild idea that a coffee shop waitress should not be expected to pay taxes on her tips.

The TV people are happy to do the work for you, and tell you what notions are fit for public debate. Thinking for yourself is really, really hard, and it’s just easier to watch TV and listen to discussions about Bachmann’s hair.
Another possible reason why the media is ignoring Paul could be fear rather than love. Perhaps Democrats and Republicans are afraid of him.

MURDER AT WAL-MART
Tired of being broke and stuck in an unhappy marriage, a man took out a large insurance policy on his wife, with himself as the beneficiary, and then arranging to have her killed.
A ‘friend of a friend’ put him in touch with an underworld figure who went by the name of ‘Artie.’ Artie said his going price for snuffing out a spouse was $5,000. The husband said he was willing to pay, but wouldn’t have the money until he could collect the insurance. Artie insisted on being paid at least something up front, so the man opened his wallet, displaying the single dollar bill that rested inside. Artie reluctantly agreed to accept the dollar as down payment.
The next day, Artie followed the woman to the local Super Wal-Mart Store. He surprised her in the produce department and strangled her with his gloved hands. As the poor woman slumped to the floor, the manager of the produce department stumbled onto the murder scene. Unwilling to leave any witnesses behind, Artie strangled the manager as well.
Both murders were captured by the store’s security cameras and observed by the security guard, who immediately called the police. Artie was caught and arrested before he could leave the store.
Under intense questioning at the police station, Artie revealed the whole sordid plan, including his unusual financial arrangements with the husband who was quickly arrested. The next day, newspaper headline declared: ARTIE CHOKES 2 for $1 @ WAL-MART!

Amidst the media blackout, if you were to ask the average person on the street in the U.S. what is happening at Fukushima, they would most likely say that the situation is under control. however, the ground under the Fukushima nuclear facility is beginning to crack as the nuclear core is melting down into it, and deadly radioactive steam as begun spewing from the fissures. As one Fukushima worker emailed to his friend earlier this mont:
“A lot of the cracks came up in the ground, massive steam is coming up from there. It’s too smoggy here, can’t see a thing. It seems like nuclear reaction is happening underground. Now we are evacuating. Watch out for the direction of wind. …”
“There have been 3 meltdowns at the 6 reactor site, and the vessels have failed. What seems to be happening now is that the corium; this melted reactor core, has burned through the reactor floor of the reactor building, or buildings – and has now burned into the earth and, reaching groundwater, is creating steam.
“They’ve been looking to contain this accident by building tents over the reactor units, which is kind of ludicrous in and of itself and shows the desperation measures that are now being employed. But now it’s coming up out of the ground through cracks around the facility – so the accident is now much more seriously out of control than they are willing to admit….
“The readings we’re seeing ares off the scale for the instrumentation the workers are using – which is 10 sierverts per hour … or one million millirem per hour. To put this in perspective – according to the NRC, the permissible dose of radiation for the public is one hundred millirem per year….
“We were involved in an NRC hearing on July 28th where they admitted that fuel fragments were found over one and a half miles away from the facility. According to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, those fuel fragments did not come from the spent fuel pools on top of the buildings that we’ve been talking about but were fragments ejected from the cores in those explosions. … The only thing that’s controlled is the information.”

The power and influence of Standard and Poor, stimulus packages have been a bust, Europe mired in toxic waste, the dream of the Euro gone, global growth headed lower, oversold stock markets, the inflationary depression set to continue unabated. Markets have certainly fallen quickly. It was only on 12,721 on July 21 and now we are looking at a low close of 11.269 after a 500-point PPT arrangement. There is no question investors didn’t like the bill encompassing debt extension, nor the perceived cuts to be made. That was followed by a long awaited fall-in the debt rating of the US by the S&P. At the same time the financial and economic conditions in Europe worsen with Italy officially joining the ranks of near insolvency. These events were accompanied by calls for the president to bypass the Constitution or to use the 14th Amendment to bring about the debt extension. Under a façade of political wrangling as a cover the real impetus for the standoff became obvious. The whole exercise was not only about debt extension that could have been settled in 15 minutes, but about cutting individually paid for plans, such as Social Security and Medicare, which will eventually lead to a corporatist fascist dictatorship. This super-Congress is very reminiscent of the 13th century “Star Chamber”, the Soviet Politburo, or Adolph Hitler’s 1933 “Enabling Act.”

Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke was confronted yesterday by Congressman Alan Grayson about which foreign banks were the recipients of Federal Reserve credit swaps, but he was unable to provide an answer as to where over half a trillion dollars had gone.
Asked which European financial institutions received the money, which was handed out by The Federal Open Marke More..t Committee (FOMC), a component of the Federal Reserve System, Bernanke responded, I dont know.
Half a trillion dollars and you don’t know who got the money? asked Grayson.
As we have previously reported, the destination of trillions in bailout funds remains hidden after the Fed refused to disclose where it had gone despite a lawsuit filed by Bloomberg.
Bernanke said the Fed had a long standing legal authority to hand money to foreign banks under section 14 of the Federal Reserve Act, a claim contradicted by Bernankes own report, as Grayson soon highlighted.
Grayson said that he had investigated one of the arrangements, a $9 billion dollar package to New Zealand, which works out at $3000 dollars for every citizen of New Zealand.
Seriously, wouldn’t it have been better to extend that kind of credit to Americans rather than New Zealanders, said Grayson.
The Congressman then implied that handing money to foreign institutions was unconstitutional, reading from Article I, No money shall be drawn from the treasury, but in consequence of appropriations made by law.
Do you think its in the spirit of the Constitution for a group like the FOMC to hand out a half a trillion dollars to foreigners without any action by this Congress? asked Grayson, to which Bernanke responded that Congress had approved it with the Federal Reserve act of 1913. Grayson responded that in 1913, the entire GDP of the U.S. was well under half a trillion dollars.
Is it safe to say that nobody in 1913 contemplated that a small little group of people would decide to hand out half a trillion dollars to foreigners?, asked Grayson, to which Bernanke again claimed that the authority had been used numerous times before.
Grayson debunked this claim by pointing to Bernankes own report, which stated that the entire amount had been handed out starting from the last quarter of 2007, and the amount given out before that to foreign banks was zero.

As I trained to practice medicine, I became convinced without a doubt that life begins at the moment of conception. I never performed an abortion, and I never once found an abortion necessary to save the life of the mother. In fact, I successfully helped women struggling with their pregnancies to seek other options, including adoption.
I am running to Restore America Now, and by that I mean that it’s time to protect and promote the basic God-given rights inherent in the promise of America.
We must pass on our heritage of liberty to the next generation – not tens of trillions of dollars in debt and liabilities.
We must stand for life – not allow millions of innocent children to continue to be slaughtered with the government’s approval.
We must follow the Biblical mandate of using honest weights and measures – not printing money out of thin air in almost complete secrecy and then handing it over to oppressive dictators.
We must only send our men and women to fight for our country when the mission is clear, every necessary tool needed to win is provided, and we respect the Constitution by declaring war.
Once war is declared, it must be waged according to Just War principles. We should only fight when it’s in our national security interest, and we should no longer do the corrupt United Nation’s bidding by policing the world.

Ron Paul is getting more publicity out of not getting publicity in the wake of his virtual tie with Bachmann in the Ames poll than he’s gotten to date. Suddenly everyone’s noticing the “mainstream” media is trying very hard not to notice the twelve-term Texas congressman and libertarian icon, despite his success in quadrupling his previous Iowa showing and barely being edged out by Bachmann. Jon Stewart’s takedown of the Ron Paul media blackout is devastating, and, for the most part, funny. Barring that crack about Paul being “the ‘Patient Zero’ of the Tea Party” – likening tea partiers to HIV-positives is offensive on so many levels, I don’t know where to start – Stewart’s critique of the anti-Paul bias in the mainstream media is 100 percent accurate. Roger Simon, writing in Politico, found it “amazing” and “disturbing” that “Paul almost wins the thing and he remains poison.”
To us long-time Paul-watchers, who have witnessed this media blackout in operation for years – and are way beyond being merely “disturbed” by it – there is nothing in the least bit amazing about the media’s hostility to Paul. The latest snub is merely a repetition of what has been the Party Line, a line that – like Paul himself – crosses ideological boundaries, and Stewart’s takedown – which spliced together footage of both CNN and Fox News anchors, wearing identical smirks, disdainfully dismissing Paul – showed this red media/blue media united front in action.

This past Saturday at the GOP straw poll in Ames, IA several members of Minnesota We Are Change took to the Iowa State University to cover this critical event in this years election process. Along the way we ran into former presidential hopeful and Fox News host Mike Huckabee. He quickly turned our question about Ron Paul’s second place finish in the poll, to an opportunity to smear Ron Paul and discredit his non-interventionist foreign policy. Then When I asked Mr. Huckabee about the 1953 coup that led to our Iran hostility , as mentioned in the Iowa Debate by Ron Paul, he ignored it and continued ranting about Paul’s foreign policy stances and small chances of being taken seriously by america. In closing we attempted to ask Mike about the CFR and got no response.
