According to a high-level Russian source with ties to the military (named in the podcast below), Russia not only possesses a devastating secret weapon against the United States; they’ve already apparently put it in place off the East Coast shoreline.
The existence of this secret weapon — which could unleash a massive radioactive tidal wave that devastates cities along the East Coast — has been covered by the BBC in this article:
The Kremlin says secret plans for a Russian long-range nuclear torpedo – called “Status-6” – should not have appeared on Russian TV news. The leak happened during a report on state-run Channel One about President Vladimir Putin meeting military chiefs in the city of Sochi.
One general was seen studying a diagram of the “devastating” torpedo system. Launched by a submarine, it would create “wide areas of radioactive contamination”, the document says.
The “oceanic multi-purpose Status-6 system” is designed to “destroy important economic installations of the enemy in coastal areas and cause guaranteed devastating damage to the country’s territory by creating wide areas of radioactive contamination, rendering them unusable for military, economic or other activity for a long time”, the document says.
Nuclear Moles: Warhead-carrying underwater drones that can be timed to unleash massive, radioactive tidal waves of destruction
The weapon is known as a “nuclear mole,” and it’s an underwater drone that carries a nuclear warhead, then burrows into the seabed floor off the coast of the target country. Once buried into the sea floor, these nuclear weapons can be remotely detonated to cause a massive tidal wave that would wipe out coastal cities in minutes.
I have estimated that a series of these weapons could be detonated in a timed sequence that multiplies the amplitude of the tidal wave, causing a much larger and more devastating wave than any single weapon by itself.
In addition to the physical destruction that could result from such a weapon, the tidal wave would contain radioactive sea water, making it a “dirty bomb” in addition to the physical destruction. The “dirty bomb” aspect of such a weapon would deposit deadly concentrations of radioactive isotopes across the affected cities, leaving behind a toxic legacy of radioactive elements such as iodine-131, cesium-137 and various isotopes of uranium and plutonium, both of which have far longer half lives than iodine (approx. 7 days) and cesium (approx. 29 years).
Washington D.C., New York City, Philadelphia and Boston are all highly vulnerable to this weapon system, as they sit very close to the U.S. coastline and are well within reach of nuclear-initiated radioactive tidal waves.

I really get upset when the media keeps quoting US “intelligence agencies” that maintain that China only has 200 nuclear warheads. How can say that when they have zero access to China’s nuclear arsenal? The US had never had access. They are simply taking China’s lying words for truth because our controlled intelligence agencies are following the globalist agenda of downplaying the China nuclear threat.
But it got worse this week when the Council on Foreign Relations put out a propaganda piece in their magazine Foreign Affairs, not only repeating the bogus 200 nukes claim, but inferring that China isn’t in the least interested in joining the arms race. The piece is chock full of disinformation:
While U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin preen and compare the size of their nuclear arsenals, China has been quite modest on the subject. This macho dance doesn’t interest Beijing. Why? Isn’t bigger always better? For decades, when it comes to nuclear weapons, the answer from China has been a resounding no. The rest of the world would do well to consider their reasons why. [Oh, do tell! I can’t wait hear how this ends.]
In his last defense speech of 2016, Putin argued that his country needed to “enhance the combat capability of strategic nuclear forces, primarily by strengthening missile complexes that will be guaranteed to penetrate existing and future missile defense systems.” It wasn’t clear from the speech whether Putin seeks to improve nuclear warhead delivery systems in order to confuse American missile defense, or whether he will seek to increase the number of weapons deployed to overwhelm them, or even deploy cyber-capabilities to weaken the ability to respond. Perhaps it’s a strategy, perhaps it’s just rhetoric. U.S. ballistic missile defense efforts — particularly in Europe and Asia — have been a sore spot for both Russia and China.
The author makes it sound like the Russians are only thinking about it. Nonsense. The Russians are not only in the middle of production of the Topol M, but they are building new 15 warhead mega-missiles–the Satan-2. As with China, we have no inspectors in Russia, and even in the days when we did, our inspectors were never allowed inside the nuclear warhead plant we built for Russia nor into the huge underground factory-bunker city of Yamantau Mountain.
So why hasn’t Chinese leader Xi Jinping stripped off his shirt and flexed his strategic forces? Well, he doesn’t need to and he knows it. Decades of Chinese leaders have known it. The Chinese think about nuclear weapons in a fundamentally different way than their Western counterparts…. China was content to stick with dozens, not thousands, of warheads.
The reason the Chinese don’t flaunt it is because they want to maintain the lie that they only have a couple of hundred warheads—fodder for “useful idiots” and disarmament addicts at the CFR.
Even today, the United States and Russia believe nuclear deterrence requires thousands of warheads each, and at least three ways to deliver them. But the truth of the matter is that you can annihilate your adversary (or the planet) only so many times. In fact, some in the U.S. Air Force have argued that 311 warheads would provide nine-and-a-half times the destructive power needed to incapacitate the Soviet Union by former Defense Secretary Robert McNamara’s count.
More propaganda. In fact, you could throw all of the nukes in the world at Mt. St. Helens and you would not remove as much earth as it did when it blew off half of its top in the 1980s eruption. All these high quantities of nuclear weapons are NOT for simple deterrence, but to successfully win in a nuclear engagement where many of your weapons may be eliminated before you can launch them. Just to eliminate all of the US military and communications facilities around the world would take almost 3000 enemy warheads. As to enemy targets, many deep underground facilities like Yamantau Mountain and the missile tunnels in China would take tens of nuclear weapons to penetrate—and that’s only two targets. There are hundreds of targets.
For China, it’s not the size of the arsenal that counts, it’s how you use it. About 200 nuclear warheads are “enough.” China’s primary goal has always been to prevent the use of nuclear weapons against them. Beijing figured out that you don’t need 30,000 nuclear warheads to achieve that end — you only need enough that the risk of losing a major city in retaliation holds your opponents back. They have enough for escalation control, they have enough for deterrence, and they only need to mate their warheads to delivery vehicles to signal.
So they keep their strategic forces small and agile. With about 200 weapons, you already have increased the cost of nuclear war enough that nobody wants to start one with you. You don’t even have to spend a fortune to keep those weapons ready to go at a moment’s notice, as Russia and the United States do with their arsenals. Instead, China can invest in its conventional and not-so- conventional weapons, including a growing naval force, hyper-glide vehicles, and systems for both cyberspace and outer space. . Last, China is happy to sit back and wait until escalation is called for, so it keeps its warheads separated from the missiles it predominantly relies on as delivery systems.
More nonsense. If the CFR really thinks the Chinese don’t keep warheads on the missiles, they are idiots. The Chinese have thousands of miles of underground bunker tunnels all with rail road tracks to haul out rail mounted missiles into firing position at a moment’s notice. That said, they know their missiles are safe for now, since the US dismantled 2/3rd of the warheads on our remaining 400+ Minuteman missiles. The warheads on our submarines aren’t capable of penetrating hardened targets.
As for conventional weapons, China is in a major armament building spree, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t building new missiles and warheads in secret. This piece is simply meant to keep Americans asleep about the Chinese threat. Lastly, if China is so disinterested in nuclear missiles why does she keep building new DF-41 missiles? NATIONAL ELECTRIC GRID PROTECTION SERIOUSLY FLAWED
Many were heartened that the Obama administration was moving forward to protect the national electrical grid from electromagnetic pulses from either solar flares or EMP. However, as Michael Maloof of WND explains the new improvements are only aimed at modest protections from solar flares and not the more powerful EMP pulses.
The Obama administration, on the eve of its transfer of power, is about to impose new standards to protect the nation’s life-sustaining electric grid from solar storms. However, the new standards by a Democrat-dominated regulatory board, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, will address only solar activities. Pointedly, it will not protect the vulnerable national grid from a man-made, high altitude, nuclear detonation that could create an electromagnetic pulse.
In an email to WND, William R. Graham, who was director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy and chairman of the 2008 congressionally mandated EMP Commission, warned that the FERC has scheduled a ruling on Jan. 19 – the FERC’s planned ruling “is likely to have far-ranging, seriously counterproductive national security implications.”
“It may not be an accident that this action is being addressed on the last full day of the Obama administration rather than at a time when the Trump administration can influence the ruling,” Graham told WND.
The FERC is to finalize standards for only solar storms, or the natural-occurring slow EMP called an E3, ignoring the nuclear-weapon-generated EMP, Graham warned… [but] there is also a substantially higher, intense electromagnetic fast pulse (E1) produced only by high-altitude nuclear weapons.”
“Significantly,” Graham said, “similar commercially available equipment can be used to protect against nuclear EMP and naturally occurring GMD EMP, but comprehensive nuclear EMP protection also requires protection against E1. Graham said he has alerted the incoming Trump transition department appointees and transition-team heads to the impending FERC action.
Graham pointed out the FERC is dominated by three Obama administration appointees, although the Republican appointee slots remain empty. Despite the Trump administration coming into office in a few days, the FERC won’t realize a majority of Republicans until June 30, 2017, when the term of a Democratic appointee is scheduled to end.
Frankly, in light of unilateral disarmament and PDD-60 warning our military to prepare to accept a nuclear first strike and “retaliate afterward,” I’m skeptical the government really wants to protect the grid from an EMP strike, which will be a 20 minute prelude to a real nuclear strike.

THE BIG PICTURE ON FOREIGN THREATS
Europe: While US globalists experienced a major backlash in the US by those tired of establishment policies, the globalists in Europe also have a major rebellion on their hands over EU open borders to refugees and the slow increase of EU mandates in social and economic affairs of member countries. The irritation of EU tinkering in member state policies and law has been growing slowly but the motivation to actually break from the growing tyranny was brought to a head by the sudden influx of millions of refugees from Africa and the Middle East.
Nothing was more shocking and threatening to Europeans than to see whole towns overwhelmed by refugees and globalist leaders ousting citizens from government subsidized apartments to make way for refugees. When the young males, which predominated among the displaced, began to prey upon women in Germany and France, the rebellion took hold and nationalist party ranks began to swell.
EU open borders policies allowed thousands of refugees to work their way north to Britain, which turned out to be the catalyst that pushed the Brexit vote over the top. This, combined with the Trump victory in the US, suddenly allowed anti-EU forces in various countries to believe that they too could beat the all-powerful EU at their own democracy game—at least at first.
The EU was successful in beating back an anti-EU challenge from the Freedom Party in Austria. They will attempt to defeat these same nationalist forces in the upcoming elections in Belgium and France. The Germans are just starting to wake up and finally have a growing anti-EU party called “Alternative for Germany,” which has doubled in size in just two years.
In the UK, globalist leaders have been able to delay and sabotage the British exit from the EU, which is still in progress. It started with handing over the reins of British government to Teresa May, (who voted against Brexit) who promptly got a bill passed in Parliament integrating EU law into British law, supposedly so that British politicians and the courts could have full authority to change those laws without going through the EU parliament. Only the most naive Brits failed to see this was a trap. It’s much harder to remove bad law once installed than stop it from becoming law.
Middle East: The other major setback for globalism was the entrance of Russia into the Syria conflict. The globalist agenda in the Middle East is very complex as I have explained recently in the WAB of December 16. It started with the need to create a war on terror that could justify limiting citizen’s rights to privacy and due process in Western countries, and Muslims were the perfect targets for provocation, having a religion and culture that tended toward a natural hostility to the West, and to both Judaism and Christianity.
Not only was the 9/11 terror attack a false flag attack used to justify the war on terror, but it was then used as a pretense to attack Iraq and Afghanistan which had nothing to do with the attack. What the incursions into those countries did accomplish, however, was generate a lot of hatred among Muslims against America, which then fed the subsequent engineered terrorist organizations like al Qaeda and ISIS—both creations of US, British and Israeli intelligence.
The subsequent Western (Arab Spring) destabilization efforts in Egypt, Libya and Syria were done not only to create more hatred against the West, feeding the ranks of terror, but to make available huge arsenals of weapons from Libya to supply the terrorist forces the West would send into Syria. That’s what the secret Benghazi annex fight was all about—competing forces trying to capture the weapons stockpiles the US was secretly exporting to Syria.
But the long term globalist agenda had nothing to do with enforcing democracy in these tribal areas or making peace. It was mostly about creating waves of refugees which would be corralled into pitiful refugee camps until they were so frustrated and full of anger that they would make a massive push into Europe—forever changing the Western culture and political landscape of the EU. Africa, being a cauldron of ethnic conflict and constant warfare has also provided a steady stream of refugees and terrorists.
Out of the constant security threat refugees and terrorists have provided, France and Germany have been able to justify establishing their own surveillance state with enhance police powers of warrantless searches and indefinite detention. That’s conflict creation at its best.
There’s one additional globalist agenda, and that’s the take-down of Iran. Why Iran? Because it is the only Muslim country trying to become self-sufficient in the full range of weaponry needed to defend itself. All other Muslim countries are beholden to either East or West.
As I have explained before in prior briefings, the globalist attack on Syria is linked to the ultimate take-down of Iran. Israel was tasked by globalist leaders to start the war with Iran, but she insisted first that Syria be taken down first since Syrian rockets and chemical weapons were the main retaliatory threat to Israel.
But US plans for a no-fly zone and attack on Syria were thwarted by Syria’s acceptance of Secretary of State Kerry’s inadvertent offer to “not attack” if Syria gave up its chemical weapons. US, British, and Israeli intelligence then took about half the rebels fighting in Syria and changed their name to ISIS and set them off on a rampage in Iraq, brandishing threats to the whole world. It would provide the West’s an excuse to get back into an attack mode in Syria, using ISIS.
All was going according to plan until Russia intervened and starting turning the tide against the US-backed rebels, and Russia remains an impediment to this global agenda in the Middle East to this day. That’s why the US intelligence has suddenly been doing everything, including inventing Fake News of Russian hacking into the DNC emails, in order to turn public opinion against Russia’s intervention in Syria. Obama has even gone so far as to expel Russian diplomat/spies in retaliation. If this happened during the middle of Obama’s term, the Russians would have retaliated with a like number of diplomat/CIA expulsions, but I don’t think Putin will retaliate. He’ll simply wait for better relations with Trump.
Although Russia is doing us a favor in Syria by blocking the globalist conflict creation agenda, Russia has an evil long term agenda, and the combat training their air crews and special forces are getting in Syria is an essential part of that agenda—to eventually take down the West militarily. RT has even revealed that the Russians have tested over 150 new weapons in Syria. They have a secret pact with China to attack the West (when they are both ready) , and eventually intend to establish their own version of global government under the heavy hand of Communism which still rules both nations under the table.
Russia and China: There are a host of internet commentators on the Right and Left that are hyping the notion that Obama is going to start WWIII by provoking the Russians in Syria, or by NATO holding exercises on the Russian border. None of that is true. Russian won’t be goaded into war before she is ready, and she and China have a lot of military rearmament to catch up on before they are ready to take on the West.
What the premature WWIII hypsters don’t understand is that the globalists want this war, but they can’t start it, or be seen directly provoking it. They have to appear as the victims of Russian and Chinese aggression and that’s why they have to wait until the other guy starts something. In fact, that “something” is a nuclear pre-emptive strike on US and NATO strategic forces. The US knows it is coming and intends to absorb that first strike in order to have the pretext to convince Americans to join in a militarized global government in order to prosecute the next war. The secret Presidential Decisions Directive (PDD-60) confirms this by telling our nuclear forces “not to rely on Launch on Warning,” but to “prepare to absorb a nuclear first strike and retaliate afterward.”
The globalist spies within Russia and China also know that neither country intends to strike civilian cities in the West first, but only military targets, trusting that this will force the West into submission without destroying the economies which China and Russia depend upon for technology and trade.
The US has been unilaterally disarming for decades, even knowing that the Russians are cheating on their end and still building weapons, because they want to feign weakness as a means of inviting an attack. I cringe whenever I hear disarmament experts pontificating in the mainstream media about how the Russians have a certain number of warheads and missiles, proving they are “nearly” in compliance with treaties. That’s pure baloney. The US has never been able to inspect Russia’s secret underground nuclear and missile factories and has no idea how many missiles or warheads are there.
Neither do we have any idea how many the Chinese have in their 3,000 miles of underground tunnel systems. I heard one “expert” say this week that China has about 200 warheads. He would only say those were intelligence “estimates.” Those are laughable given China’s massive militarization effort that has been going on for decades.
But the globalists aren’t stupid enough to absorb a nuclear first strike if that leaves them with nothing to win the war with in the long run. I’m convinced they have secret weapons and defense systems hidden away in area 51 and other secret facilities that are designed to survive this first strike and which can prevent any further attacks until the West regroups around its new global government.
I’m often asked when I think this war is going to start. No one can say for sure, because we are dealing with three separate secretive world powers who are never transparent. But military experts reading satellite data can see when there are increases in military equipment and deployed troops. However, contrary to the experience of WWII, this won’t start with troops massing on a national border.
I believe that neither Russian nor Chinese conventional forces will do any noticeable massing outside of their normal military bases. They will rely on the nuclear missiles to do the initial strike and the lack of movement in conventional forces won’t give it away. Such an attack will be temporarily paralyzing to the West and give the Chinese and Russians ample time to then move conventional forces into the invasion mode afterward.
Next, the Russians intend to do a blitzkrieg-style invasion of the Baltic States and Eastern Europe with heavy armor and infantry troops. The Chinese intend to do a massive series of airborne and naval invasions of the entire archipelago of islands to its west, starting with Japan and perhaps simultaneously occupying Taiwan, the Philippines, Indonesia and finally Australia.
Australia is a key supplier of raw materials and minerals to China—China has already bought up almost all the natural resources in Australia so they must occupy that continent to secure these operating concessions during war. They may also occupy New Zealand because of its close proximity. What would an occupation under the Chinese be like?
The Orientals have a historic reputation of being ruthless as occupiers, and I don’t expect it will be pleasant living under that occupation unless residents there make significant underground (concealed) preparations in advance and are prepared to build a successful resistance movement. This is one of the reasons I discourage Americans from retreating to those two countries. Both have significant rural areas to hide out in, but that’s a hard life when surrounded by snoops and spies looking for foreign nationals to lock up.
The best recent update on Chinese military forces was done by Bill Gertz for the Asian Times. This should leave no doubt about Chinese offensive preparations.
In this planned first strike, the West will have a maximum of 20 minutes advance notice by Satellite sensors. That said, I’m sure the globalists have spies in both countries that will let them know in advance so they can be in their underground bunkers when the missiles fly. But they won’t warn the American people any more than they encourage people to build fallout shelters to ward off the effects of future radiation. They want Americans vulnerable so they are the more easily coerced into giving up national sovereignty in favor of global government.
While I can’t tell you when, I feel strongly that the Russia/Chinese axis won’t strike until they are finished with their current modernization plans, which won’t start coming online in quantity until 2020 and won’t be finished until 2024 or 25.
The first of their newest ballistic missile, the Satan-2 with 15 warheads, won’t be coming off the line until 2018 or 19, and they won’t have the numbers to deploy until after 2020. US Minuteman III missiles are woefully obsolete, and now only have a single warhead mounted instead of three—that’s a three-fold reduction while Russia and China are building new missiles and warheads every month.
But remember that the Russians can’t just win a war with nuclear missiles—which, by the way, DON’T destroy the world many times over. The Russians and Chinese won’t strike until their squadrons of fighters and bombers are multiplied two or three times, and they both need a full blue water navy of Cruisers, destroyers and submarines plus a few aircraft carriers to control the world they conquer. China is building ships faster than Russia and with Russian economic weakness, I don’t think they’ll be able to catch up with China. In any case, a big blue water navy takes years to complete, so my timetable really hasn’t changed, nor can it change because of Western actions. Everyone just has to wait until the enemy is ready to strike and I don’t believe that will be before 2020, and more likely in the middle of the next decade.
I also still believe that North Korea will provide the trigger event; it won’t be in the Middle East. North Korea now has missiles that can reach the entire US and the nuclear warheads to make them lethal. This means that NK can strike the US directly with an over-the-north-pole shot, although I don’t think that’s how it will begin. North Korea, like any aggressor, will seek to have a provocation, and I think that will come when NK attacks South Korea and the US responds in defense of South Korea. If the US uses any of its tactical nukes on North Korea, it could give the North Koreans the excuse to launch missiles at the US. China and Russia, as allies of NK, could then easily excuse their entrance into the war.
So, if you see a full scale invasion of NK into the South, you should expect a nuclear world war within a week or so. Hopefully you will have prepared to NOT be employed by the military when that time comes, or you will be sacrificed by our own government’s failure to Launch on Warning as this attack is ongoing. In addition you should have solidified your plans to relocate out of the major cities. Even if not struck directly, the preliminary EMP strike by China or Russia will take down the grid nationwide and put cities into a panic mode within a day or two as water, electricity and supplies cease to exist. …

Meanwhile, Russia continues to violate all of its disarmament treaties, while the US fails to call them on it. Furthermore, we continue our unilateral disarmament in order to feign weakness and invite a future nuclear strike on US military forces. Bill Gertz follows the Russian cheating problem regularly at the Washington Free Beacon.
U.S. nuclear arms inspectors recently discovered that Russia is violating the New START arms treaty by improperly eliminating SS-25 mobile missiles, American defense officials said.
During the recent visit to a Russian missile base, U.S. technicians found critical components of SS-25s—road-mobile, intercontinental ballistic missiles—had been unbolted instead of cut to permanently disable the components. Additionally, American inspectors were unable to verify missiles slated for elimination had been destroyed. Instead, only [empty] missile launch canisters were inspected.
This may not seem like a big thing, but this is typical of Russian cheating—going through the motions but keeping the missiles secretly in storage, rather than destroying them.
On-site inspectors also reported they were unable to verify that Russia had completed all New START treaty cuts to launchers declared eliminated by Russia between 2011 and 2015.
“Russia will meet their treaty elimination goals by using empty launchers from retired and retiring missile systems,” said one official. “They’re basically cutting up launchers that don’t carry missiles anyway.”
Asked about the April verification problems, State Department arms verification bureau spokesman Blake Narenda declined to discuss the matter, citing treaty secrecy rules. “The New START treaty forbids releasing to the public data and information obtained during implementation of the treaty,” Narenda said in a statement.
Nonsense. The language doesn’t prohibit the publication of complaints about non-compliance. These kinds of statements prove the US is covering for Russian cheating.
On Capitol Hill, House Armed Services Committee Chairman Mac Thornberry said the potential New START verification problem highlights the larger issue of the Obama administration’s poor record in pressing Russia to abide by its treaty obligations.
“Whether it’s Russian violations of the Open Skies Treaty, the Biological and Chemical Weapons Conventions, or multiple violations of the INF treaty, this administration has proven singularly unconcerned with arms control compliance,” Thornberry told the Free Beacon.
And that’s because the globalists who control this administration don’t want Russia disarmed. And, it’s not just the Obama administration. All Republican administrations have covered for Russia as well. Of course, even if the US did demand Russian compliance, we have no agreement with China, Russia’s future partner in war, and their weapons systems are very lethal.
Schneider, former Pentagon director for strategic arms control policy, said Russia has avoided complying with its treaty commitments. “They have violated all of the major arms control treaties and will continue to do so because we impose no penalties,” he said.
And here’s more evidence of the coverup:
Last Saturday, Anita Friedt, principal deputy assistant secretary of state for arms control verification and compliance, gave a speech that gave no suggestion there are problems with New START verification.
“Buttressed by this robust verification architecture, New START treaty implementation is proceeding well and both the United States and Russia are expected to meet the treaty’s central limits when they take effect in February 2018,” she said.
That’s a bold faced lie and she knows it.

“THE SAKER” COMMENTS ON RUSSIAN INTENTIONS
While I applaud Russia’s willingness to expose the globalist agenda in Syria and unmask US collusion with ISIS, I am under no illusions about Russia being benevolent or that it intends to use its growing mass of nuclear weapons for deterrence only.
A former Russian linguist that was hired by US intelligence years ago but is now retired has been plying the internet with his “insider” knowledge about foreign affairs, with a decided pro-Russian slant. He goes by the name “The Saker” (a type of bird) but his real name is Andrei Raevsky and he’s now revealed himself, but I believe he is a full pro-Putin plant within the US intelligence community. His latest post is blatant propaganda that belies all the moderate opinions he has offered over the years to lure in naive readers:
We are absolutely and categorically certain that Russia will never attack the US, nor any EU member state, that Russia is not at all interested in recreating the USSR, and that there is no “Russian threat” or “Russian aggression.” Much of Russia’s recent economic success has a lot to do with the shedding of former Soviet dependencies, allowing her to pursue a “Russia first” policy. But we are just as certain that if Russia is attacked, or even threatened with attack, she will not back down, and that the Russian leadership will not “blink.” With great sadness and a heavy heart they will do their sworn duty and unleash a nuclear barrage from which the United States will never recover. Even if the entire Russian leadership is killed in a first strike, the so-called “Dead Hand” (the “Perimetr” system) will automatically launch enough nukes to wipe the USA off the political map.
No person, even a Russian mole within the US, could know the full intentions of Putin and the secret leadership who runs the post-Soviet state with such assuredness, any more than any highly placed intelligence official know the intents of the globalists who run our government relative to a future war scenario. These things are guarded secrets held only at the very top.
The Saker and his two other Russian colleagues in the US who signed this statement also show their ignorance of globalist intentions when they postulate that the US intends to strike Russia first. They will not. They are trying to induce a Russian and Chinese strike by feigning weakness in order to justify goading Americans into joining a militarized global government.
The Dead Hand system, is no more than a Launch on Warning system, just like the US used to practice before PDD-60 instructed US missileers “not to rely on it” but prepare to absorb a nuclear first strike and then retaliate. It is still in force today. The Russians do intend to launch on warning, but they won’t have to. The US won’t strike first, because that would make them the aggressors and would not justify entrance into a NWO.
Russia is not only building up its nuclear forces but its conventional forces as well, so it is obvious it intends to survive a nuclear exchange and resort to conventional weapons in the aftermath. It’s also back into building another aircraft carrier, with a ski-jump ramp instead of a catapult. While cheaper to maintain and operate, the ski-jump works only with lightly loaded jets limiting their use to air to air combat and not bombing sorties. Because of Russia’s continuing bombing role in Syria, it is possible Russia is modifying this carrier to test out its new mission of air to ground support in the Middle East. It is also interesting that Russia made such a big deal out of it “pulling out its ground attack aircraft” from Syria, when it only removed about half the aircraft. It is still very active in the ground attack battles in Syria.

RUSSIA BUILDING NEW WARHEADS, WEAPONS SYSTEMS
Bill Gertz, the most consistent American journalist watching out for legitimate security threats, had a fairly comprehensive piece this week on Russian rearmament. While the US is doggedly working to implement nuclear disarmament, the Russians are backing out of those same one-sided treaties and rearming at an alarming pace.
Russia deployed 153 strategic nuclear warheads over the past year under the New START arms treaty while the U.S. military pared its nuclear forces by 57 warheads, according to State Department figures released last week.
Defense officials disclosed last week that Russia is doubling the number of strategic nuclear warheads and remains over the 1,550 warhead limit set by the 2010 New START arms treaty.
Russia’s Defense Ministry announced last month that its nuclear forces will add 20 new SS-27 Mod 2 missiles, known as Yars, this year. New SS-N-32s, called Bulava by Russia, also are being fielded. Both missiles can be equipped with up to 10 warheads each. The SS-N-32s are deployed on new Borei-class missile submarines.
Additionally, the latest data released by the State Department on Friday shows the Russians added six new missiles over the past year, while reducing its launchers by 34 nuclear missile launchers or bombers [all obsolete].
For the United States, 20 missile launchers or bombers were eliminated over the past year under the treaty, along with eliminating 44 systems, either intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs), sub-launched missiles, or nuclear-capable bombers. [In contrast to the Russians, the US isn’t replacing any of its missiles that it test fires with new ones. In addition, we have replaced all the triple warheads on the Minuteman III missiles with a single warhead. Russia’s newest heavy ICBM missile will carry 15 warheads—and is called the SARMAT.]
The treaty requires the United States and Russia to reduce their arsenal of deployed strategic warheads to 1,550 by February 2018… The large Russian warhead buildup, combined with official statements from Moscow questioning the utility of continued adherence to the treaty, are raising concerns about a break-out from the treaty limits.
And well we should be concerned. It’s a given among realists that the Russians will back out of the treaty by Feb. 2018. We will be in full unilateral compliance by then, and the Russians will have at least double that number when they withdraw.
“Whether or not the Russians pull the plug on New START, the number of Russian warheads will be much larger than 1,550,” Schneider said, noting state-run Russian press reports put Moscow’s long-term warhead level at 2,100, while a U.S. think tank estimates the Russians will deploy around 2,500 WARHEADS by 2025.
Additionally, Russia will be emboldened to pull out of the New START treaty by the FAILURE of the United States to address Russia’s VIOLATION of the Intermediate-range Nuclear Forces Treaty, Schneider said. The treaty bans the construction of intermediate-range ballistic and cruise missiles. Russia breached the accord with a NEW SS-N-8 cruise missile, U.S. officials have said.
Schneider, now with the National Institute for Public Policy, also said the estimates of Russian warheads do not include announced plans by Moscow to build at least 50 new Tu-160 NUCLEAR BOMBERS. “That will push the number to over 3,000 when this program is completed,” he said.
The US hasn’t produced a new missile for 20 years and has no intention of doing so. The Russians are deploying their latest rail-launched, mobile ICBM, the RS-26 that cannot be effectively targeted with a pre-emptive strike or counter strike by missiles. While the world is focused on ISIS due to all the false flag attacks on Europe, the real enemies are building weapons that can reach the US. Sadly, only Bill Gertz is sounding the warning, and none of the mainstream media is picking up his warning.

The brief this week is coming a day early because Christmas falls on a Friday this year and I have a special holiday recommendation for your Christmas enjoyment. The last briefing of every year I reserve for a big picture overview of where we stand relative to the ongoing assault on our liberties. More than any other year in history, the US has lost a tremendous amount of goodwill in the world over its falsified war against terror. The entire world seems to be waking up to the fact that Western pretensions against terror are a fraud and Russia is clearly gaining in world leadership as several beleaguered nations are now appealing to Russia for help against terror instead of the US or NATO. At home in the US the Powers That Be (PTB) who control both political parties are up against a major rebellion in Republican ranks as the clear majority of conservatives don’t trust anything the establishment media says or what Republican leaders tell them. I will also cover the continuing threat of economic instability and war.

FOREIGN AFFAIRS
The biggest threat to the stability of the Western world this year has been the sudden rise in refugees overflowing Europe’s borders. What people don’t see (because the news media never covers it) is that these could have been prevented from reaching Europe. Most of the refugees leaving Syria have come through Turkey, and then by boat to Greece or other parts of coastal Europe. The Turkish government obviously knew about these hundreds of thousands of desperate people as they headed for the coast. They did nothing to stop them, nor contain them. They didn’t even warn Europe of the coming onslaught. That’s because Turkey is part of the globalist plot to flood Europe with Muslims.
Contrary to what they say, stopping them is relatively easy. A simple sting operation could shut down the illegal armada of life-threatening ships ferrying people to Europe. You simple have a few government agents pose as refugees, find out which boats or are accepting refugees (at extortionary prices) and arrest the captains as they accept the money. The same tactic would stop the “coyote” guides taking illegals across the border from Mexico to the US. The Mexican government could shut down that pipeline in a month with sting operations.
The reason they don’t go after these facilitators is that these governments are willing participants in the globalist agenda. Globalists want to flood the US and Europe with illegals in order to create conflict, water down conservative voting patterns, and destroy western culture and religion.
Despite all the protests of people in the US and Europe, the PTB won’t be sending anyone back and they will only make a token effort to slow the flow. This ultimately will create the excuse for the government to crack down on anti-immigration organizations and brand them as perpetrators of hate.
The war on terror continues to exhibit evidence of government driven black operations. Both the terror attack in Paris and the mass shooting in San Bernardino were false flag operations that involved Muslim patsies to take the blame but shielding the taller Caucasian military hit-men who actually did the shooting, as I’ve documented in recent briefs.

The purpose of the Paris attacks was to justify French emergency powers that allow unlimited surveillance, warrantless searches and detention without cause—plus the excuse to intervene militarily in Syria. The purpose of the San Bernardino mass shooting (a state with heavy gun restrictions) was to show that even tough gun laws don’t stop mass shooting—hence the need to confiscate all assault weapons, as the NY Times and the Huffington Post demanded.
Both false flag attacks heightened the public’s resistance to the wholesale admission of Muslim refugees. But, predictably, the establishment was able to demand more tolerance notwithstanding, and flat out refused to stop the flow or send refugees back home. In almost every way, it is more humanitarian and less costly to provide refugee facilities in Muslim countries than to allow such mass migrations to enter Europe, where there will always be cultural conflict.
The biggest setback for the globalists this year was the intervention of Russia in the conflict in Syria. As I’ve documented many times in the WAB, ISIS is a creation of US and British intelligence—a black operation to give the US the excuse to get back into Syria and bring down Assad. There is no such thing as moderate Syrian rebels; they are all radicals and in the employ of Western puppet states like Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Bahrain and Qatar; and led by Israeli-trained Arab provocateurs. That’s why ISIS has never attacked any of the forgoing countries.
Russia was not ignorant of what the US was doing—using fomented terror to overthrow governments and create chaos. It happened in Egypt and Libya and now Syria is in the globalist crosshairs. Putin saw an opportunity here to intervene, save Syria, and embarrass the US, as well as throw a monkey wrench in the globalist agenda.
One of the globalist strategies is to get a negotiated settlement that will oust Assad through a skewed electoral process, now that Russia has successfully halted the US surrogate war against Syria. RT had an excellent exposee on the upcoming peace conference and the critical issue of “who are the so-called peaceful rebels” who are going to represent the opposition.
The 20 non-Syrian countries participating in the Vienna process will ultimately decide 1. which Syrians will speak for the opposition at future talks, and 2. which Syrians will instead be labeled ‘terrorists’ to be slaughtered on the battlefield.
The Saudis shrewdly tried to grab front-runner advantage for their favorite Syrians by hosting a highly-publicized meeting in Riyadh that cobbled together a 34-member opposition ‘turnkey solution.’ But several countries balked at some of the Riyadh-cooked opposition, which consists of groups or individuals they think should be on the ‘terrorist’ list instead of the negotiating table.
Others on the Saudi shortlist don’t appear to be ‘representative’ of anybody, let alone the ‘Syrian people.’ They include several former heads of the now widely-discredited Syrian National Coalition (SNC), once viewed by Syria’s foes as the country’s ‘legitimate’ government-in-exile.
Meanwhile, US globalists are scrambling to figure out how to deter the Russian intervention, hoping to make it too costly for the Russians to stay, as in Afghanistan. The US assigned Turkey to shoot down a Russian SU-24 fighter/attack plane specifically so they could force Russia to bring in their latest defensive missiles and electronic jamming equipment. The US needs to know what the Russian top of the line equipment is capable of. This was one way to get the Russians to expose their hand and eavesdrop firsthand on Russian operations. Putin had wanted to avoid this by putting in second line equipment, without air defenses. The shootdown force him to expose his high tech military hand.
Lots of pundits were predicting an imminent confrontation between Russia and Turkey that would quickly escalate to WWIII—Turkey being a NATO member. However, Putin has not risen to take the bait, and won’t—because he isn’t ready to take on the West.
But what Putin has done in Syria has led to a dramatic increase in Russian leadership throughout the world. The US has been embarrassed numerous times by Russia documenting that the US has not been serious about attacking ISIS—particularly the oil well heads and transport trucks that send that oil to markets (like Israel). In addition, Russia and various European journalists have documented how Turkey is the conduit for both support and export oil revenue for ISIS. Turkey being a NATO member and US ally adds to the scandal of the West supporting ISIS.
Iraq was the first to turn to Russia for help eradicating ISIS on its territory, and now several other countries including Libya, Egypt and Bulgaria have started making appeals to Russia as the US “protection racket” has been totally ineffective in stopping terrorism. The list will continue to grow as other countries tire of US pressure and control.
In the big picture sense, all of this continues to downgrade the reputation of the US as the world’s peacekeeper and increase the world’s reliance on Russia for military muscle. This is essential to allowing Russia and China to stake out the moral ground to justify an eventual attack on the West, increasingly viewed as the “bully of the world.”
However, war is not imminent. Russia and China are still in a major building program for missiles, aircraft, ships and high-tech defense systems that won’t be ready until the early to middle of the next decade. Of course, one needs to be prepared early because the Russians may be lying about their rearmament timetable (beginning to middle of next decade). They don’t necessarily have to wait until full rearmament to launch a nuclear pre-emptive strike. Also, we don’t have any inspectors that have been inside Russia’s most secret weapons/bunker underground city, Yamantau Mountain, so they could be a lot farther ahead than they are saying.
Additionally, we have no way detailed knowledge of the state of China’s weapons systems. We do know what they are trying to develop, but we know little about how much is deployed. From hypersonic weapons to stealth fighters, China is busy trying to invent, borrow or steal any advanced technology it can. Even Russia, though in a temporary alliance with China to eventually take down the West, is leery of the Chinese Dragon. Both these communist nations intend to take down the other after the West is subdued.
I continue to stand by my contention that North Korea is the likely trigger event for WWIII—not the US–Russian hostilities in the Middle East or Ukraine. The latter would only justify a conventional confrontation, and only a nuclear pre-emptive strike on American military assets would justify sufficient panic to talk people into joining a militarized global government.
The North Korean threat, in contrast, cries out for a nuclear response from all parties—not only because North Korea has nuclear weapons and will use them to protect her turf during the war, but China will come to NK’s aid.
Because of the severe disadvantages of the South Korean and US troops vs the North (50K vs 2 million men under arms), the US would be forced to use tactical nukes (which are in South Korea) to stop or blunt the attack. That could easily allow China to justify a pre-emptive strike on America in response to US “first use.” If I’m right, any invasion of the South by the North Koreans is likely to produce a nuclear exchange within a week. Watch for it.
…several key factors:
1) Neither Russia nor China intends to strike civilian targets and get labeled as war criminals. They intend to first hit only military and communications targets and then blackmail the West into submission. Remember, they want to bring the West under their own version of the NWO, not destroy the West’s engine of production and innovation.
2) The destructive nuclear first strike will be preceded by an EMP strike which will take down the entire electrical grid from anywhere from 6 weeks to six months or longer. This means you will have to deal with massive social unrest, pillaging and mass migrations out of the cities—which will collapse without electricity or government services.

Back in the 70s, Admiral Rickover, the “father of nuclear navy,” had to answer the question before the U.S. Senate: “How long would our aircraft carriers survive in a battle against the Russian Navy?” His response caused disillusionment: “Two or three days before they sink, maybe a week if they stay in the harbor.”
The reason for the greatly reduced lifetime of the aircraft carrier in a battle against the Russians is a deadly danger below the water: modern submarines — especially Russian ones — are so powerful and difficult to locate that they can send large battleships and aircraft carriers to the bottom of the sea in the blink of an eye. The weakness of the U.S. Navy, therefore, is their vulnerability when they compete with an enemy that — using the language of the Americans — dominates the seas below the water surface. Of course, the U.S. military analysts are aware of this weakness, so one wonders why the U.S. Navy still adheres to the doctrine “the bigger the better” and continues to rely on an armada of aircraft carriers and large battleships.
Colonel Douglas McGregor, a decorated combat veteran, author of four books, a PhD and military analyst, gives the answer: “Strategically, it makes no sense, but the construction of large ships, of course, creates a lot of jobs.”

Rickover’s answer, on the record in a hearing of the Armed Services Committee of the U.S. Senate, was, “About two days.” The committee, needless to say, went on to approve buying more carriers.
Another lesson is that diesel-electric subs can be as effective or more effective than nuclear boats in same situations. The U.S. Navy hates the very idea of non-nuclear submarines and therefore pretends they don’t count for much. You can buy four to eight modern diesel-electric submarines for the cost of a single American “U-cruiser” nuke boat.”

So the threat of Russian submarines, torpedoes and anti-ship missiles is well known by the Americans — a fact which Roger Thompson’s book, Lessons Not Learned: The U.S. Navy’s Status Quo Culture [link – ed.], also points out. A brief excerpt:
As Howard Bloom and Dianne Star Petryk-Bloom advised in 2003, both the Russians and Chinese now have the deadly SS-N-22 Sunburn missile at their disposal. This massive long-range missile, equipped with nuclear or conventional warheads, is extremely difficult to detect or destroy. According to Jane’s Information Group, it is more than capable of destroying any U.S. aircraft carrier. More to the point, Timperlake (a Naval Academy graduate) and Triplett warned that the Sunburn missile is designed to do one thing: kill American aircraft carriers and Aegis-class cruisers.
The SS-N-22 missile skims the surface of the water at two-and-a-half times the speed of sound until just before impact, when it lifts up and then heads straight down into the target’s deck. Its two-hundred-kiloton nuclear warhead has almost twenty times the explosive power of the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima. The U.S. Navy has no defence against this missile system. As retired Admiral Eric McVadon put it: “It’s enough to make the U.S. 7th (Pacific) Fleet sink twice.”

..the events of April 2014 when the ultra-modern destroyer USS Donald Cook was paralyzed by a single SU-24.
For those readers who unfortunately missed the story, here it is: At the beginning of April last year the Americans sent the USS Donald Cook into the Black Sea, with the permission of Turkey, to protest against the Russian annexation of Crimea and to demonstrate their military strength. The destroyer was equipped with the most advanced Aegis Combat System, a naval weapons systems which ensures the detection, tracking and destruction of multiple targets at the same time. In addition, the USS Donald Cook is equipped with four large radars, whose power is comparable to that of several stations. For protection, it carries more than 50 anti-aircraft missiles of various types.
According to the “Montreux Convention,” non-Black Sea state warships are permitted to stay in the Black Sea for no longer than 21 days. The Americans, of course, ignored this rule, and Russia responded by sending an SU-24. The Sukhoi was unarmed but equipped with the latest electronic warfare device, called Khibiny.
When the SU-24 approached the destroyer, all radar and control systems, information transfers, etc., of the USS Donald Cook were suddenly paralyzed by Khibiny. In other words, the seemingly superior Aegis system was completely off — like when you turn off your TV with the remote control.
Subsequently, the Sukhoi simulated 12 missile attacks at low altitude on the virtually blind and deaf USS Donald Cook….

Those 345 MPH Supercavitating Torpedoes: Did You Know?

The Peoples Republic of China reportedly bought 40 Shkval rocket torpedoes from Kazakhstan [71] in 1998. An improved version of the Shkval may be capable of a 300 knots speed (345 mph). France, the U.S., and Germany have also undertaken supercavitating torpedo development.
With a range of at least 3 to 4 miles, Shkval torpedoes reduce reaction times to travel that distance from 3 minutes to perhaps 40 seconds.

2.1 FOREIGN HELP FOR HI-TECH WEAPONS
Russian Assistance for Supercavitating Underwater Weapons
Supercavitating underwater weapons move through water at very high velocities, at speeds up to greater than sound. They are able to do so because they form an air bubble, or cavitation, around the structure. Once launched, there is little defense against such high-speed underwater weapons. They are envisioned for use as torpedoes, anti-torpedoes, anti-mine or as missiles that travel underwater and then air-launch near the shore to defeat anti-missile defenses.[69] Russia is a leader in supercavitation technology and in 1977 fielded the Shkval (Squal) rocket torpedo, which can achieve speeds up to 200kts, or 100 meters per second (230 mph) through water. An advanced version of the Shkval is reportedly capable of 300kts speed.[70] This version reportedly was being tested on the Russian Oscar-class SSGN Kusk that sank in August 2000. The U.S., France and Germany also have supercavitating weapons research programs.
In August 1998 the PRC was reported to have purchased 40 Shkval rocket torpedoes from Kazakhstan.[71] This could indicate that the PLA also has programs underway to develop supercavitating underwater weapons. A Taiwanese source notes that the PLA has used these weapons to aid the development of its own supercavitating weapons, which may be in testing.[72] Developing such weapons would be consistent with the PLA’s efforts to adopt new technologies and to build weapons that exploit the weaknesses of the U.S. U.S. sources reportedly have confirmed that a PLA Navy Officer perished on the Kurskwhen it sank.[73] There is speculation that he was there to observe the testing of a new version of the Shkval.

RUSSIA HAS CONSTRUCTED MASSIVE UNDERGROUND SHELTERS IN ANTICIPATION OF NUCLEAR WAR

Did you know that the Russians have a massive underground complex in the Ural mountains that has been estimated to be approximately 400 square miles in size?
In other words, it is roughly as big as the area inside the Washington D.C. beltway.
Back in the 1990s, the Clinton administration was deeply concerned about the construction of this enormous complex deep inside Yamantau mountain, but they could never seem to get any straight answers from the Russians.
The command center for this complex is rumored to be 3,000 feet directly straight down from the summit of this giant rock quartz mountain. And of course U.S. military officials will admit that there are dozens of other similar sites throughout Russia, although most of them are thought to be quite a bit smaller. But that is not all that the Russians have been up to.
For example, Russian television has reported that 5,000 new emergency nuclear bomb shelters were scheduled to have been completed in the city of Moscow alone by the end of 2012. Most Americans don’t realize this, but the Russians have never stopped making preparations for nuclear war. Meanwhile, the U.S. government has essentially done nothing to prepare our citizens for an attack. The assumption seems to be that a nuclear attack will probably never happen, and that if it does it will probably mean the end of our civilization anyway.
Needless to say, the Russians are very secretive about their massive underground facility at Yamantau mountain, and no American has ever been inside. The following is what Wikipedia has to say about it…
Large excavation projects have been observed by U.S. satellite imagery as recently as the late 1990s, during the time of Boris Yeltsin’s government after the fall of the Soviet Union. Two garrisons, Beloretsk-15 and Beloretsk-16, were built on top of the facility, and possibly a third, Alkino-2, as well, and became the closed town of Mezhgorye in 1995. They are said to house 30,000 workers each. Repeated U.S. questions have yielded several different responses from the Russian government regarding Mount Yamantaw. They have said it is a mining site, a repository for Russian treasures, a food storage area, and a bunker for leaders in case of nuclear war. Responding to questions regarding Yamantaw in 1996, Russia’s Defense Ministry stated: “The practice does not exist in the Defense Ministry of Russia of informing foreign mass media about facilities, whatever they are, that are under construction in the interests of strengthening the security of Russia.” Large rail lines serve the facility.
Back in 1996, the New York Times reported on the continuing construction of this site. U.S. officials were quite puzzled that the Russians were continuing to build it even though the Cold War was supposedly over at that point…
In a secret project reminiscent of the chilliest days of the cold war, Russia is building a mammoth underground military complex in the Ural Mountains, Western officials and Russian witnesses say.
Hidden inside Yamantau mountain in the Beloretsk area of the southern Urals, the project involves the construction of a huge complex served by a railroad, a highway and thousands of workers.
Within the U.S. intelligence community, there was a tremendous amount of debate at that time regarding the purposes of this facility, but what everyone agreed on was that it was going to be absolutely massive…
A report in Sovetskaya Rossiya said the project involves construction of a railroad, a modern highway and towns for tens of thousands of workers and their families.
“The complex is as big as the Washington area inside the Beltway,” said an American official familiar with intelligence reports.
A couple of years later, a top U.S. general said that he believed that the complex at Yamantau had “millions of square feet available for underground facilities”…
In 1998, in a rare public comment, then-Commander of the U.S. Strategic Command (STRATCOM) Gen. Eugene Habinger, called Yamantau “a very large complex — we estimate that it has millions of square feet available for underground facilities. We don’t have a clue as to what they’re doing there.”
It is believed to be large enough to house 60,000 persons, with a special air filtration system designed to withstand a nuclear, chemical or biological attack. Enough food and water is believed to be stored at the site to sustain the entire underground population for months on end.
A few years after that, in 2003, there was an article in the Washington Post by Bruce G. Blair in which Yamantau was mentioned as a potential key target for U.S. nuclear war planners…
Die-hard [U.S.] nuclear war planners actually have their eyes on targets in Russia and China, including missile silos and leadership bunkers. For these planners, the Cold War never ended. Their top two candidates [i.e., targets] in Russia are located inside the Yamantau and Kosvinsky mountains in the central and southern Urals.
Both were huge construction projects begun in the late 1970s, when U.S. nuclear firepower took special aim at the Communist Party’s leadership complex. Fearing a decapitating strike, the Soviets sent tens of thousands of workers to these remote sites, where U.S. spy satellites spotted them still toiling away in the late 1990s.
But the Russians have not just been building giant underground facilities deep in the Urals.
They have also been constructing thousands of new underground bomb shelters in major cities such as Moscow.
The following is an excerpt from an RT article in 2010…
Nearly 5,000 new emergency bomb shelters will be built in Moscow by 2012 to save people in case of potential attacks.
Moscow authorities say the measure is urgent as the shelters currently available in the city can house no more that half of its population.
In the last 20 years, the area of air-raid defense has been developed little, and the existing shelters have become outdated. Moreover, they are located mostly in the city center,which makes densely populated Moscow outskirts especially vulnerable in the event of a nuclear attack.
In order to resolve the issue, the city has given architects a task to construct a typical model of an easy-to-build shelter that will be located all over the city 10 to 15 meters underneath apartment blocks, shopping centers, sport complexes and parks, as in case of attack people will need to reach the shelters within a minute.
Of course all of this construction cost the Russians a lot of money.
One estimate put the cost at “anywhere from half a billion to a billion dollars”…
Though the bunkers are supposed to be designed to shelter the population in the event of a nuclear attack, government officials say it’s only a precaution and they do not expect such an attack or nuclear outbreak (e.g. Chernobyl) to occur. Neither RT or the Russian government provided estimates for the cost of the facilities. A Popular Mechanics article that reviewed a number of different types of bunkers and building practices had varying prices depending on the type of shelter. Since the proposed Russian bunkers would hold roughly 1000 people each (based on the population count and other details), one could estimate that the lowest price point for a bunker this size, with basic necessities like bathrooms and reserve food for a day or two, may run in the area of around $100,000 – $200,000. This would put a conservative price tag for 5000 shelters anywhere from half a billion to a billion dollars. A significant investment, indeed.
So what about us?
Has the U.S. government constructed any bunkers for the survival of the general population in the United States?
Of course not. In the event of a nuclear war, I guess they just expect pretty much all of us to die.
The Russians also recently finished work on a brand new national defense center in Moscow that contains extensive underground facilities…
Russia is launching a new national defense facility, which is meant to monitor threats to national security in peacetime, but would take control of the entire country in case of war.
The new top-security, fortified facility in Moscow includes several large war rooms, a brand new supercomputer in the heart of a state-of-the-art data processing center, underground facilities, secret transport routes for emergency evacuation and a helicopter pad, which was deployed for the first time on Nov. 24 on the Moscow River. The Defense Ministry won’t disclose the price tag for the site, but it is estimated at the equivalent of several billion dollars.
In addition, the Russians have also been developing a new anti-ballistic missile system that is designed to keep U.S. nuclear missiles from getting to their targets in the first place.
The U.S. doesn’t have anything like the S-500 that is currently being developed by the Russians. At the latest, it is scheduled to be deployed in 2017, but there are rumors that it is already starting to be deployed today. The following comes from military-today.com…
The S-500 is not an upgrade of the S-400, but a new design. It uses a lot of new technology and is superior to the S-400. It was designed to intercept ballistic missiles. It is planned to have a range of 500-600 km and hit targets at altitudes as high as 40 km. Some sources claim that this system is capable of tracking 5-20 ballistic targets and intercepting up to 5-10 ballistic targets simultaneously. It can defeat ballistic missiles traveling at 5-7 kilometers per second. It has been reported that this air defense system can also target low orbital satellites. It is planned that the S-500 will shield Moscow and the regions around it. It will replace the current A-135 anti-ballistic missile system. The S-500 missiles will be used only against the most important targets, such as intercontinental ballistic missiles, AWACS and jamming aircraft.
Sadly, most Americans are not interested in this stuff at all.
These days, most Americans just assume that the Russians are “our friends” and that a war with Russia could never possibly happen.
What they don’t realize is that the Russian people see things very, very differently. Today, 81 percent of Russians have a negative opinion of the United States. Our interference in the conflict in Ukraine has made the Russian people very angry, and there are many over there that now believe that a shooting war with the United States is inevitable.

Joel Skousen has been warning about the Russia/China attack for decades. I’m very glad Mike knows this much. Please listen. Joel believes Russia and China won’t EMP and nuke US until China has built enough ships and weapons. Russia is much further along. Joel thinks we probably have seven years or more. But as Mike says, things are getting VERY SERIOUS! We’re outgunned. They’ll even be able to take out our aircraft carriers. Our mainstream media is intentionally hiding our vulnerability, including to EMP.

CHINESE NAVAL PROJECTIONS BY 2020
More and more analysts are beginning to wake up about China—though our government continues to both criticize China and downplay and deny and threat. Prashanth Parameswaran writing for The Diplomat reports on China’s projected developments for their blue water navy by the year 2020—when I’ve predicted China will first begin to have the firepower to think about attacking the West.
Much has been written about China’s ongoing efforts to become what President Xi Jinping called a “great maritime power” and how the United States should respond… In a recent paper delivered at a two-day CNA conference on Chinese maritime power, seen by The Diplomat, Rear Admiral Michael McDevitt, a senior fellow at the Center for Naval Analyses (CNA), projects what China’s ‘far seas’ navy will look like in 2020 and how it would rank alongside the United States and other players – Britain, France, Japan, India and Russia. Getting a sense of the PLAN’s ‘far seas’ capabilities is important since it tells us the extent to which it might be able to project power further from China’s shores.
According to his projections, on paper by 2020 China’s navy will already increasingly look like a smaller version of the U.S. Navy and will be “the second most capable ‘far seas’ navy in the world.” In five years, the PLAN’s capabilities would dwarf most other navies – China would have as many aircraft carriers as Britain and India, more nuclear attack submarines than either Britain or France, and as many AEGIS-like destroyers as all the other non-US navies combined. China would have two aircraft carriers, 20-22 AEGIS like destroyers and 6-7 nuclear attack submarines, while United States would have eleven aircraft carriers; 88 AEGIS like destroyers; and 48 nuclear attack submarines.
Despite this, the US keeps helping the Chinese military train alongside the US in exercise after exercise. Alex Newman of The New American explains:
In 2013, the Obama administration shocked the world by inviting Communist Chinese troops to the United States to train with American forces for the first time in history. Ostensibly aimed at practicing “disaster management,” the U.S.-Communist China military exercises raised widespread alarm among national security experts. And while the Pentagon downplayed the risk and denied in comments to The New American that any weapons were involved, Chinese officials were boasting of “weapon demonstration, technique exchange, and cooperative action.” Earlier in 2013, a senior Chinese general, who in 2005 threatened to destroy hundreds of U.S. cities with nuclear weapons, led a “military exchange program” delegation to Washington, D.C. from Beijing.
The next year, again for the first time in history, Obama offered further opportunities for Chinese forces to gather sensitive intelligence on how the U.S. military works — this time by inviting Beijing’s Navy to participate in the “RIMPAC war games.” Hosted off the American coast by the U.S. Pacific Command, RIMPAC is the largest multinational maritime exercise in the world. And by allowing the Chinese regime’s ships to participate, Beijing was able to gather important insight into the U.S. military’s “tactics, techniques and procedures” (TTPs), according to analysts. Beijing was invited again this year, even as it steps up its aggressive actions against U.S. Navy ships in international waters… Beijing is taking full advantage of the opportunities to learn about the U.S. military and how it operates, too.
The West is ever eager to placate China in order to keep the world asleep to the inevitable and lethal threat she presents. Incredibly, despite a record low snow season in China’s mountains (which normal disqualifies anyone bidding on the Winter Olympics),
IOC President Thomas Bach… announced to the world on Friday in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia that Beijing won the bid to host the 2022 Winter Olympic Games, making the Chinese capital the first city to host both summer and winter Olympics.
He said the IOC’s decision meant tremendous to China. “It is about 300 million people who are expected to benefit from the 2022 Winter Olympics. This awards us a great opportunity to promote winter sports among them. It will be a marvelous project, an everlasting legacy. It will be an unprecedented feat pulled off by China and IOC, ” he said.
Yes, a marvelous propaganda stunt on behalf of China—just as the Beijing Summer Olympics were. Hitler took similar advantage of the 1936 Olympics to showcase the glories of Nazism. The only upside to this kowtowing to China is that it almost certainly guarantees that China will not go to war with the West until she gains the full propaganda value of these Olympics in 2022. So, you have at least that much time to prepare. Don’t put it off, however; it can easily take 10 years just to get your garden and animal skills where you can produce (most) of your own food.
The Chinese stock markets continue to slide. Beijing’s amateurish but massive interventions in the markets have not paid off. Chinese shares suffered their biggest one-day drop in over eight years this week, but still the market is up 70% over last year, so it is just a bubble bursting, not a collapse. Part of the renewed downward slide is from investors discovering that China lied about its debt levels so local billionaires are liquidating their assets and shifting them to Western or other Asian markets.

Moscow follows China in seeking maneuverable high-speed missiles

Moscow is developing a new, ultra-high speed strategic attack vehicle similar to China’s hypersonic weapon, according to military analysts.
However, unlike high-profile strategic bomber flights and large-scale nuclear war games that U.S. military commanders have called provocative, details about the Russian hypersonic vehicle remain one of Moscow’s closely held military secrets.
The Russians have been developing the new Yu-71 vehicle for several years and conducted the most recent flight test in February, according to an article published this month in Jane’s Intelligence Review.
A Pentagon spokeswoman declined to comment on the Russian hypersonic test.
The unsuccessful flight test was believed to have been released into near space from atop an SS-19 missile that was launched from the Dombarovsky missile base in eastern Russia. The vehicle is part of Moscow’s secret Project 4202 missile program, the Jane’s report says.
Jane’s concludes that Russia over the past five years has stepped up the secret program as part of efforts to defeat U.S. missile defenses that were designed to counter predictable ballistic targets.
Hypersonic vehicles, however, are very difficult to track and target because they move in unpredictable ways at speeds of up to 7,000 miles per hour.

Beijing launches huge program as tensions with U.S. build
China is set to retrofit thousands of merchant ships for military purposes so they can be used in the event of a war, another disturbing indication of growing tensions between Beijing and Washington.
Shipping industry publication TradeWinds reveals that China is preparing a new fleet of “war-ready ships” to serve as “a reserve military logistics wing” in the event of a naval conflict.
The new policy will apply to “containerships, ro-ros, multipurpose ships, bulkers and other ships,” with shipbuilders receiving a government subsidy to pay for the cost of making the vessels “militarily useful.”
According to American Maritime Congress president James Caponiti, the move is another sign that Beijing is intensifying its military build-up while Washington stands idly by.
“Do we really want China to be that much more capable?” he asked.
Explaining the decision to retrofit merchant ships with military technology, People’s Liberation Army researcher Cao Weidong said, “Modern naval warfare often requires the mobilisation and deployment of a large number of ships while the mass production of naval ships in peacetime is not economically sensible.”
How soon is China expecting to have to engage in “naval warfare”?
Tensions over Beijing’s military fortification of islands in the South China Sea have been building in recent weeks, with Beijing repeatedly issuing warnings to U.S. surveillance planes flying over the region.
An editorial in the Communist Party state mouthpiece Global Times last month that warned “war is inevitable” if Washington doesn’t halt its demands that Beijing stop building artificial islands.
Experts have warned that an accidental collision between aircraft, similar to a 2001 incident which sparked an international controversy, could spark a deadly conflict. According to Michael Auslin, a war between the two superpowers is more likely than at any point in the last 20 years.
Billionaire investor George Soros also wrote an article for the The New York Review of Books this week in which he reiterated his warning that Beijing may seek to provoke a conflict with the United States.
“The US government has little to gain and much to lose by treating the relationship with China as a zero-sum game. In other words it has little bargaining power. It could, of course, obstruct China’s progress, but that would be very dangerous. President Xi Jinping has taken personal responsibility for the economy and national security. If his market-oriented reforms fail, he may foster some external conflicts to keep the country united and maintain himself in power,” writes Soros.
“This could lead China to align itself with Russia not only financially but also politically and militarily. In that case, should the external conflict escalate into a military confrontation with an ally of the United States such as Japan, it is not an exaggeration to say that we would be on the threshold of a third world war.”
