Here’s how RFA will work: On one end, emerging journalists will apply to be part of RFA. On the other, newsrooms will apply for a journalist. RFA will pay 50 percent of that journalist’s salary, with the newsroom paying 25 percent and local donors paying the other 25 percent. That reporter will work in the local newsroom for a year, with the opportunity to renew.
Of course, while the press release above tries to tout the shared financial responsibility of these 1,000 journalists, presumably as a testament to their ‘independence’, it took about 35 seconds to figure out that the primary funder of the journalists’ salaries, RFA, is funded by none other than Google News Lab.

I and others have long claimed that the US secretly armed ISIS along with other falsely labeled “moderates” in Syria and elsewhere. Now, we know how they do it. The Deep State took advantage of the phoney fall of the Soviet Union to make deals with former Soviet states to buy Soviet-era arms and ship them to terrorist organizations under Deep State control. The Russian arms made sure it wasn’t obvious that terrorists were being armed by the West. The dark side of the CIA bought weapons from Bulgaria and other former Soviet states and then shipped them to terrorist destinations using the little known national airline of Azerbaijan–Silk Way Airlines. To make sure the arms were not traceable, Azerbaijan agreed to put each flight under the cover of diplomatic immunity—a violation of international law. Now, due to the heroic efforts of one investigative journalist from Bulgaria, a woman, this complex scheme has been uncovered. For her efforts she has now been fired as a reporter.
Dilyana Gaytandzhieva was a Bulgarian investigative journalist working in Syria were she uncovered and filmed nine underground warehouses “full of heavy weapons with Bulgaria as their country of origin.” After investigating she was shocked to find they were transported under diplomatic cover. Not only were arms being shipped to Syria, but also Afghanistan, Pakistan (to arm the Taliban) and even African countries like the Congo.

Oliver Stone said Israel had more involvement in the US election than Russia. But the mainstream media kept this statement from the public.
Reports have surfaced that during his heated exchange with Stephen Colbert, Oliver Stone responded to statements from Colbert repeating the tired narrative about Russia interfering in the US election by bringing up an elephant in the room that many media outlets have totally ignored.
Stone said of alleged and thus far totally unproved Russian interference,
“Israel had far more involvement in the US election than Russia, why don’t you ask me about that?”
Colbert, quick to end that part of the discussion replied,
“I’ll ask you about that when you make a documentary about Israel”
This section of the interview was edited out of the final broadcast, but multiple sources, including many pro-Israel sources testify to the existence of the in-studio exchange.
Few could reasonably deny that the pro-Israel lobby in the US is extremely power, well funded and influential.
Oliver Stone touched on a deeply important issue, one that clearly did not fit the anti-Russia stance of Stephen Colbert and his producers.
This sets a bad precedent. Where will this end up if the people don’t stand up?

What sort of campaign could he be running? After all, we’d seen the Greta von Susteren Fox News interview (Sept. 9, 2009, just a few days after Traficant was released from prison). Here’s some of what Traficant had said, “I believe that Israel has a powerful strangle hold on the American government. They control…the House and Senate. They have us involved in wars of which we have little or no interest. Our children are coming back in body bags. Our nation is bankrupt over these wars, and if you open your mouth, you get targeted. And if they don’t beat you at the polls, they’ll put you in prison… It’s an objective assessment that no one will have the courage to speak about. They’re controlling much of our foreign policy. They’re influencing much of our domestic policy. Wolfowitz as Under Secretary of Defense manipulated President Bush #2 back into Iraq. They pushed definitely, definitely to try and get Bush, before he left, to move into Iran. We’re conducting expansionist policy of Israel and everybody’s afraid to say it. They control much of the media…”
WAS IT POSSIBLE somewhere in Ohio someone could say such things and not be ostracized, denounced, trounced? Actually, no. There really was no campaign. Few in the political business dared have anything to do with him, donate to him, invite him, quote him. Only a maverick Tea Party organizer offered him an evening campaign event. Otherwise, the popular sheriff and then Congressman was pretty much shunned. And yet he came in a close third on Nov.2, 2010, with over 30,000 votes.
