PHOTOS: AR-15 Bullet Holes are Tiny – Thinner than a pencil – Not easily seen from a distance

Many are looking at distant photos of the Vegas venue and Sutherland church and don’t see holes. These images show why.
AR-15 cartridges are larger (holding the powder), but 5.56mm/.223 caliber bullets and bullet holes are tiny, less than 1/4 inch in diameter.

A standard, hexagonal, “#2 pencil” is cut to a hexagonal height of 14-inch (6 mm), but the outer diameter is slightly larger (about 932-inch (7 mm)). (source)

FrankenSkies, Weird Weather and Lacklustre Light: The New Normal

June 26, 2017

(GLARING Hypocrisy) Weather modification has drastically changed skies and weather systems across the globe, especially in the last ten or twenty years. Go anywhere in the world and it’s quickly apparent that the same heinous crimes are being committed, and no matter which terms are used — chemtrails, geoengineering, solar radiation management (SRM), stratospheric aerosol injection (SAI), and so on — the results are Frankenstein-inspired skies, weird weather and lacklustre light. The skies are streaked, smeared, filled with bizarre cloud formations, white, grey or, at best, a chalky blue. Sunshine is greatly diminished and when it shines it’s extremely rare for the earth to be bathed in warm, yellow light. The [unimpeded] golden hour, a gift for photographers, has all but disappeared. …

Google’s “Don’t be EVIL” slogan is like Fox News’ “Fair & Balanced.” Saying they are not something may fool some, but EVIL IS: buying Nik’s patented U-Point technology, developed by almost 100 brilliant Germans, and then burying it, so NO ONE WILL EVER BE ABLE TO USE CONTROL POINTS AGAIN!

Google Abandons Its Nik Collection of Popular Photo Editing Software

MAY 30, 2017

Google has quietly announced that it will be abandoning the Nik Collection from here on out. The announcement was made through a simple banner message found on the Nik Collection homepage.

“The Nik Collection is free and compatible with Mac OS X 10.7 through 10.10; Windows Vista, 7, 8; and Adobe Photoshop through CC 2015,” Google writes. “We have no plans to update the Collection or add new features over time.”

Google will no longer develop Nik Collection

Published May 30, 2017

Google will stop providing updates for its Nik Collection suite of plug-in photo editing tools. The ‘announcement’ comes by way of a banner at the top of the Nik Collection site, stating that there are no plans to update or add features to the Collection.

Google acquired Nik in 2012, taking ownership of its desktop apps as well as its popular Snapseed mobile editing app. The company began offering the Collection free of charge last year.

Why is Modern Art so Bad? — For two millennia, great artists set the standard for beauty. Now those standards are gone. Modern art is a competition between the ugly and the twisted; the most shocking wins. What happened? How did the beautiful come to be reviled and bad taste come to be celebrated? • Renowned artist Robert Florczak explains the history and the mystery behind this change and how it can be stopped and even reversed • "Let's celebrate what we know is good, and ignore what we know is not!"

BUSTED BY CAMERA: CNN Caught Handing Out Questions at Cruz-Sanders Debate

REPORT: CNN CAUGHT HANDING OUT QUESTIONS AT CRUZ-SANDERS DEBATE

Report: CNN Caught Handing Out Questions at Cruz-Sanders Debate
CNN was caught handing out an apparently edited question to a member of the audience “clarifying” what to ask Ted Cruz during the debate Tuesday night with Bernie Sanders about the future of Obamacare.
The question, read by Carol Hardaway is as follows:

“I have multiple sclerosis but could not afford insurance – without the treatment or medications I need, I had problems with walking, with my speech, and my vision. When the affordable care act was passed I moved from our home state of Texas because they refused to expand Medicaid to Maryland and within 2 weeks I started receiving treatments through Medicaid and am now well enough to work as a substitute teacher.”

“Senator Cruz, can you promise me that you and the Republican leaders in congress will have – actually have a replacement plan in place for people like me who depend on their Medicaid? In other words, I like my coverage, can I keep it?”

The email is from a Gmail account, with the subject line “Your Question,” as the picture shows.
This isn’t the first time CNN has been caught “managing” questions from the audience.
Just last October, WikiLeaks revealed that CNN commentator and former chair of the DNC Donna Brazile funneled questions to Hillary Clinton ahead of a major Democratic primary debate. She was fired as DNC chair and let go as commentator shortly after the revelations came to light.
A month later, WikiLeaks again revealed that CNN was caught asking the DNC to prepare questions for Wolf Blitzer’s interview with then-candidate Donald Trump…

Gigapixel: The Inauguration of Donald Trump — Have a look around at the HUGE crowd!

Compare to these faked photos:

CBS News

The Nation

Wikipedia

Comments in the PetaPixel’s article of the same shot gives two conflicting explanations of who shot it, but it definitely is a stitched image of dozens of separate photos:
Gear used and photographer:

Canon 5DSr + 70-200 2.8L mounted on a Nodal Ninja M2 pano head and shot by hand. Supposedly shot at both 70mm and 200mm. The photographer is Tomasz Misiewicz and he did a great job in a very challenging situation. When you compare this to the previously published gigapixels from 2013 (shot by Toni Sandys) and the first one in 2009 (shot by by David Bergman) you can see how the quality of the gear, the technique and vantage point have all improved exponentially.

Alternative story:

Jim Bourg, the Washington DC Reuters photo editor sez it was shot at 12:01pm by Reuters photographer Lucas Jackson.

Was definitely stitched:

I’m curious what was used to make it. I found a guy with a seam down the middle of his face and movement so multiple shots over a period of time “Landscape Stitching” style. But the resolution is amazing.

CIA DIRECTOR ADMITS STRATOSPHERIC AEROSOL INJECTION, CHEMTRAILS

The US Air Force has been doing this since the mid-90s. We’ve had jumbo jets since the ’60s. Contrails used to disappear within a number of seconds. Now it’s hours. Our government won’t publicly admit they’re doing it, but here, Brennan admits what it does and even how much it costs.

He calls it “stratospheric aerosol injection, or SAI, a method of seeding the stratosphere with particles….”

– –

CIA Director Brennan Admits They Are Using Geoengineering around the globe. He admits they are spraying aerosol particles in the atmosphere to allegedly reflect sun light. He then finishes by stating that this technology could cause countries to rise up and oppose one another. This could be the first admission that they have a technology that can manipulate the weather, and even use it as a weapon. He states using the technology could bring good change to some areas, but do the opposite to other countries. Meaning it could devastate certain ares! Pay Attention Folks!

Full text:

Another example is the array of technologies—often referred to collectively as geoengineering—that potentially could help reverse the warming effects of global climate change. One that has gained my personal attention is stratospheric aerosol injection, or SAI, a method of seeding the stratosphere with particles that can help reflect the sun’s heat, in much the same way that volcanic eruptions do.

An SAI program could limit global temperature increases, reducing some risks associated with higher temperatures and providing the world economy additional time to transition from fossil fuels. The process is also relatively inexpensive—the National Research Council (NRC is a private, nonprofit institution in the United States founded in 1916, which produces reports that shape policies, inform public opinion, and advance the pursuit of science, engineering, and medicine.) estimates that a fully deployed SAI program would cost about $10 billion yearly.

As promising as it may be, moving forward on SAI would raise a number of challenges for our government and for the international community. On the technical side, greenhouse gas emission reductions would still have to accompany SAI to address other climate change effects, such as ocean acidification, because SAI alone would not remove greenhouse gases from the atmosphere.

On the geopolitical side, the technology’s potential to alter weather patterns and benefit certain regions at the expense of others could trigger sharp opposition by some nations. Others might seize on SAI’s benefits and back away from their commitment to carbon dioxide reductions. And, as with other breakthrough technologies, global norms and standards are lacking to guide the deployment and implementation of SAI.
I could go on, and on, and on, but rather than talk about the things that I find fascinating, let me stop here…

These Photos Show What a Peacock Feather Looks Like Up Close

Peacock feathers are designed [by God – ed.] to dazzle and attract a mate, but they’re equally amazing when viewed from up close. Canadian photographer Waldo Nell photographed one through a microscope, and the resulting photos look like colorful abstract art.

Nell shot the photos through an Olympus BX 53 microscope and a Canon Rebel T3i DSLR. Each image is composed of hundreds of photos that were stacked and blended to create single images with higher resolution and greater depth of field.

Nell works as a software engineer, but he’s also an “avid photographer interested in the extraordinary.”

**** PIXELATION ALERT ***** For some unknown reason this version of my video has become pixelated after I uploaded it to YouTube. I also have a smoother version 2 posted at the top of http://www.aurorahunter.com.

Night 11 of the Aurora Hunt was The Night! Here’s an 8-minute video containing my 1st ever real-time aurora footage shot with the Sony A7s II mirrorless camera (with Nikkor 24mm/f1.4 lens). This is the ACTUAL SPEED the northern lights were dancing. I was on a 2-1/2 week aurora hunt which took me 750 road-tripping miles from my Anchorage home to the Brooks Range of Northern Alaska. November 1, 2015 was scary windy with snowdrifts forming on the Haul Road but the aurora explosions that filled the sky were fantastic! I’ve been aurora hunting for a living since 1997 and this blew me away. Hope you enjoy.
Cheers, Todd ~ AuroraHunter.com

Todd also said this in a comment on his Facebook page:

“I started the 11 day count when I departed from Anchorage. A few days to Fbx, then a couple days up the Haul Rd to Coldfoot. Then I truck camped a couple nights north of Wiseman along the Dietrich River (beautiful!). Drove up and over Atigun Pass and camped toward Galbraith Lake out by Toolik Field Station. That’s where the North Slope begins. I’ve driven the 100+ mile leg up to Prudhoe/Deahorse but not this time. I prefer the rough & rugged topography of the Brooks Range….although if you’re looking for caribou & muskox the Slope is good for that. When I start to run low on gas & camper propane I make my way back south and celebrate and top off my reserves in Coldfoot Camp. This truck stop is a lot more inviting when coming home than when you’re going up. …”

ART DOES HEAL: Scientists say appreciating creative works can fight off disease — UC Berkeley studies show great nature and art boost the immune system, lowering levels of chemicals that cause inflammation that can trigger diabetes, heart disease, arthritis and Alzheimer's • AWE, WONDER and BEAUTY promote healthier levels of cytokines

Art does heal: scientists say appreciating creative works can fight off disease

Researchers from California University in Berkeley say studies show great nature and art boost the immune system

Great nature and art boost the immune system by lowering levels of chemicals that cause inflammation that can trigger diabetes, heart attacks and other illnesses.

In two separate experiments on more than 200 young adults reported on a given day the extent to which they had experienced such positive emotions as amusement, awe, compassion, contentment, joy, love and pride.

Samples of gum and cheek tissue – known as oral mucosal transudate – taken that same day showed those who experienced more of these – in particular wonder and amazement – had the lowest levels of the cytokine Interleukin 6 which is a marker of inflammation.

Psychologist Dr Dacher Keltner, of California University in Berkeley, said: “That awe, wonder and beauty promote healthier levels of cytokines suggests the things we do to experience these emotions – a walk in nature, losing oneself in music, beholding art – has a direct influence upon health and life expectancy.”

Cytokines are chemicals necessary for herding cells to the body’s battlegrounds to fight infection, disease and trauma but too many are linked with disorders like type-2 diabetes, heart disease, arthritis and even Alzheimer’s.
