Is the debate over the Shroud of Turin over? Many Christians believe it was the burial cloth of Jesus and even non-Christian scientists struggle to explain how the image of a man was imposed onto it. But some scientists have claimed that carbon dating has proven it is much younger than previously thought. However, Shroud of Turin Research Project Official Photographer Barrie Schwortz joins Glenn to explain why he’s refuting that claim. According to Schwortz, who was once a “total skeptic” of the Shroud, the carbon dating was improperly done. Instead, he believes the most plausible explanation is simple: “This is the burial shroud of the historic Jesus of Nazareth.”

In this episode, we welcome Brittni De La Mora to the show. She was a porn star for seven years and was seen as one of the most successful and sought-after porn actresses in the world during her career. She seemingly had it all: she was young, rich, and famous, but, as with many of the people inside of that industry, she was also miserable. She found herself in an endless cycle of shame, drug abuse, and suicide attempts. That was until Christ stepped in and saved her and delivered her from the sex industry. She and her husband now run Love Always Ministries which directly ministers to men and women in the sex industry and people trying to overcome addiction to porn, masturbation, and sex. She also has a book called A Call to Purity, which she co-wrote with her husband Richard, who is a pastor himself. Brittni and Richard also co-host a podcast and YouTube show called Let’s Talk Purity. In this interview, we discuss her chaotic upbringing which led her to the sex industry, the misconceptions that the public has about porn and the workers therein, the levels of violence and rape that occurs on porn sets, the high levels of human trafficking involved with sex workers, why she left the porn industry, how Christ revealed Himself to her, what it was like talking to her now-husband about her past life, how shame and depravity have fueled and not crushed her, how she is able to share the Gospel with women that are still stuck in “the life”, and much more.
It’s the difference between the old and new covenants. The 6th commandment, ‘Thou shall not commit adultery’ meant sex outside of marriage. In the New Testament Jesus says that lusting in one’s heart after women is adultery – Mt. 5:27-29. Prager is Jewish.
The Holy Spirit helps us overcome when we completely submit to God (cold turkey to lusting 100%), resist the Devil and the lust demon flees, even homosexual lust! >>> FREEDOM!!!

I just saw a meme that claims whales’ throats aren’t large enough to swallow a human, specifically Jonah in the Bible story (Jonah 1 & 2), but sperm whales’ throats are large enough, and about 200 live in the Mediterranean Sea today.

An extinct sea creature could have also swallowed Jonah. I highly recommend James Perloff’s book, Missing Saints, Missing Miracles to read historical accounts of incredible miracles that most people have never heard of, including with large, now extinct creatures.
Jonah also likely died while in the belly of the “great fish” for 3 days, a type and symbol of Jesus’ body being in the grave for 3 days.

Today we’re joined by Nancy Pearcey, author of “Love Thy Body” and“The Toxic War on Masculinity: How Christianity Reconciles the Sexes,” for part two of our discussion on the biblical view of the body and the philosophy of “toxic masculinity.” We start off with the reality that one’s view of God determines one’s view of masculinity. We look at ancient philosophers as well as Charles Darwin, who all believed in an innate inferiority of women. Meanwhile, it’s Christians who have been trying to champion the dignity of women – it’s Christianity that gives a rich, full understanding of masculinity that no other ideology does. We discuss the importance of the physical strength of men and how while feminism calls them to repress it, Christianity calls them to redirect it to something that fulfills its purpose.

It’s encouraging that Alex is more humble spiritually; though, he still isn’t getting right with the many people he’s hurt (required for real Christians, Mt. 5 an. Paul made sure he was right with God and everyone – Acts 24:16), including many former employees, and isn’t yet dedicated to following the Holy Spirit no matter what, largely because even Rodney Howard-Browne teaches “once saved always saved,” and doesn’t teach reconciliation holiness, being right with all to have clear consciences when we see Jesus face to Face. But this is an improvement.
