I have reached the sad conclusion that this failure to defend was done on purpose.

The IDF had no rapid reaction forces at all in the area, giving Hamas a full 6 hours … plenty of time to take over entire villages… and capture over a hundred hostages and haul them back into Gaza.
Israel allowed this attack to happen by purposefully removing troops and leaving the Southern sector of Israel devoid of strong military units to justify a stronger war footing. …
Terror is also a convenient excuse to justify keeping PM Netanyahu in power. He’s been beset by a decade of investigations for corruption, taking huge sums of campaign money from various entities illegally, and evaded all attempts to impeach him. He even pushed through a recent limitation on the Supreme Court that eliminated the court’s ability to overturn bad law, which was very unpopular in Israel.
Israel is a deeply divided society, like the US. Israel’s own Deep State government pushed mandatory vaccination for Covid on nearly everyone, propagandizes about climate change, digital currency and has heavy handed regulation in an inflationary economy.
Of course, Netanyahu is now safe from prosecution because he’s leading the charge in an “all-out war” against Hamas.
The coming battle in Gaza could kill as many civilians as the entire Russia/Ukraine war.

It’s worse, there was a stand down order to the now erased Gaza Division – the murderous farce started at 0400 not 0630… It took the murderous zombie horde no less than an hour to get to towns…
No IAF action for at least 6 hours, while the hordes freely came and went unbothered and freely through the border “checkpoints”. . .
Former intelligence IDF soldier: “The current government [in Israel] is highly corrupt … This ‘surprise’ attack seems like a planned operation on all fronts … How come there was zero response to the border and fence breaching … There is no way, in my view, that Israel did not know of what’s coming.”
Journalist… Efrat Fenigson shared her key insights, concerns, and questions from Israel regarding the conflict with Hamas.
“Apparently, Israeli defense forces that were supposed to be around Gaza were placed around the West Bank because of security concerns so that the Gaza envelope was left unoccupied with military. They say around 60 to 80 percent of that area was left without the IDF forces that were supposed to be there,” she continued.
“A year ago, there was a military operation in Gaza to prepare for such events. And ongoingly, there are trainings for these kind of scenarios. This raises serious questions for me, anyway, about Israeli intelligence. What happened? Two years ago, there was a successful deployment of underground barriers with sensors to alert exactly on these kind of terrorist breaches,” she added.
“Israel has one of the most advanced and high-tech armies. How come there was zero response to the border and fence breaching? I cannot understand that. Personally, I served in the IDF 25 years ago in the intelligence forces. There’s no way, in my view, that Israel did not know of what’s coming. A cat moving along the fence is triggering all forces,” she continued.
“What happened to the strongest army in the world? How come border crossings were wide open? Something is very wrong here. Something is very strange. This chain of events is very unusual and not typical for the Israeli defense system,” she noted.
“A point about the situation in Israel in the past few years, which I wanna make is related to and those who follow me know that there’s a general sense of insecurity in Israel, there’s political and social instability and unrest, public funds are being misused on agendas such as COVID, climate judicial reform, abolishing cash and many more,” she added.
“The current government is highly corrupt in my view, while the previous one was no better,” she stated.
I don’t care about having a popular opinion, I care about exposing evil forces – wherever they are. To me this surprise attack seems like a planned operation. On all fronts. This is a failure to protect the people of Israel, for sure, perhaps the biggest failure since the Yom Kippur war exactly 50 years ago, if not bigger. – by the way – is it a coincidence it’s exactly 50 years ago, almost on the day? The Yom Kippur War was on Oct. 6th 1973,” she continued.

The largest foreign flotilla to approach American shores patrolled the coast of Alaska last week. Nearly a dozen Russian and Chinese warships came dangerously close to the Aleutian Islands. The warships were shadowed by four U.S. naval destroyers and a P-8 Poseidon aircraft.
