“He [Sen. Gary Stevens] sits right behind me on the floor, so does Natasha von Imhof. … Natasha loves to disparage me behind me. Just imagine her sitting right behind you: ‘You’re going to fail.’ ‘This isn’t going to work.’ ‘This is so stupid.’ … ‘Put your mask up.’ ‘Put your mask up.’”

Alaska Senators debate the Permanent Fund dividend

[Anchorage] Suzanne Downing: “It ought to be scary that we’re this close to electing a Marxist like Forrest Dunbar”

It looks like Anchorage, Alaska may have dodged the bullet this time, but:

“It ought to be scary to people that we’re actually this close to possibly electing a Marxist like Forrest Dunbar. That ought to tell us what trouble we’re in.” – Suzanne Downing at minute-1:25:00 on The Dan Fagan Show, 5/12/21 [Morning after the election, Dunbar leading by approx. 100 votes; late votes likely to give the lead to Bronson]

Note: nationally, conservatives didn’t heed the 2016 warning. In the 2016 national election, Hillary almost beat Trump, which should have been a HUGE alarm and wake-up call to the conservatives, especially regarding voter fraud. Instead, they went back to sleep. Biden then successfully stole the election in 2020, likely signifying the end of America.

Anchorage election today! My Thoughts and ‘Dan Fagan Show’/Tuesday 4/6/2021

Anchorage election today! Because of mail-in voting, we may not know the results for a few days unless Bronson and Dunbar are way ahead, which is what may happen. Then they’ll runoff a month from now. The school board election is crucial. I voted for Judy Eledge, Sami Graham, Kim Paulson and Elysa Vakalis, the conservatives, the first three solidly pro-real-education.

Very interesting to me: Suzanne Downing, ‘Must Read Alaska’ says 11% of Alaskans work for non-profits, which are mostly leftist organizations.

One of the “conservative” candidates, Bill Evans says he’s for vaccine passports.

Dave Bronson is TOTALLY for freedom for the people, and no Covid mandates at all!

Freedom fighter, assembly person Jamie Allard called in. What a champion she is!

Too many of those who have government jobs vote liberal for selfish reasons.

And then there are so many people who support everything Fauci and our Dr. Zink says.

It’s going to be tough for Bronson to win at the end, because of the over-the-top Covid fear, and the total blackout on vitamin D and the treatments that work.

If Dunbar gets in, we’ll have a tyrant, the LGBT marching mayor. Jamie Allard said this about Dunbar at 45:30:

“He has been leading the charge on the [Anchorage] Assembly, and has put us in this predicament [Covid lockdowns and mandates].”

I’ve been praying everything through that I can think of in the Spirit, but Satan has successfully deceived so many with Covid.

It will be to be tough for truth to prevail over fear based on many lies, pushed by the leftist media and our governor who says whatever Dr. Zink tells him to say.

If we do end up with the tyrannical, pro-LGBT mayor, Forest Dunbar, will the pastors then be willing to get right with those they’ve hurt and actually teach what the Bible says, or step down, so the real Christianity will happen, overcoming the evil with good, finally?

Dave Bronson is on at 37:20. A few minutes later, Jamie Allard blesses us with her perspective; then Suzanne Downing of ‘Must Read Alaska’ chimes in!

Murkowski was denied communion over her stand on abortion

Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski was denied communion over her consistent pro-abortion stand in Washington D.C. The archbishop banished the priest, transferring him from Anchorage to Soldotna, Alaska.

Dan Fagan: Murkowski was denied communion over her stand on abortion

Sometime in December of 2019, Murkowski was attending mass at Our Lady of the Snows in Girdwood.

Fr. Robert Whitney, based out of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Anchorage, was saying mass as a visiting priest.

Murkowski approached Fr. Whitney during mass with her hands out ready to receive communion but was denied the wafer. Fr. Whitney instead said a blessing over the senator. Murkowski did not make a scene and went back to her seat.

Anchorage-Juneau Archbishop Andrew Bellisario, well-known for his Leftist beliefs, was so upset with Whitney, he transferred him out of the much larger St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Anchorage to the much smaller Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Soldotna.

Alaska State Sen. Lora Reinbold’s sister defends her from Dan Fagan’s unfair hit-piece at Must Read Alaska

In the now-private Save Anchorage Facebook group, Alaska State Senator Lora Reinbold posted her sister’s comment responding to Dan Fagan’s hit-piece on Lora Reinbold published by Must Read Alaska: Reinbold wonders if Dunleavy should step aside, calls his mandates ‘socialist’

[Must Read Alaska’s Facebook post with comments]

Lora thought her sister’s comment was deleted by Must Read Alaska, but it was being held for moderation. It’s now there, but truncated. So here is the entire comment.

Dear Fellow Alaskans,

I’m Lora Reinbold’s identical twin sister, Lisa. Dan Fagan just attacked her fiercely in an article, even though she has supported his radio show many times. I posted comments to the article but within moments my comments were censored. I must come to her defense since she endlessly defends her beloved Alaskans.

I’m proud the faithful way she fulfills the oath she took to defend our constitution. She knows you miss your freedoms that our leaders have tried to suppress. She is not a snowflake when facing challenges in defending your freedoms like so many others. Senator Reinbold is a true freedom fighter! She doesn’t put on a mask for her fights or fall victim to masqued lies! When a virulent storm brews she won’t tell you to stay home and be safe. In contrast, she will tell you to face it boldly.

My oldest sister, on the other hand, who happens to be in healthcare, has influenced political leaders to mandate mask wearing so everyone looks sick. It helps a few businesses but hurts most others in an incalculable way economically and socially.

In regard to religious freedom, for Dan to infer that the decisions made by our political leaders haven’t impacted churches is not based in reality. Where does he go to church? Is he back living in New Orleans which he also claims to be home?

Thousands of people of faith are suffering immensely!

I tried to reach out and share the perspective I formed after talking to hundreds of Alaskans with the Governor but to no avail.

No one has ever broken my trust in government more than Dunleavy. He falsely declared an emergency when one person was positive for the novel corona virus! We were not in an emergency and that is a fact.

(The 1964 earthquake was a true emergency.) Leading by fear or what “could happen” is not healthy. If he would perhaps stop looking through a microscope and pick up a telescope he would be able to see all Alaskans better. I’ve never seen Alaskans in more distress during the past half century than I have in 2020 under the conjured “mandates”.

On masks, Alaska Gov. Dunleavy tells local leaders to use power they say they don’t have

Sad 🙁 So Alaska’s governor appears to be a tyrant after all?

Dan Fagan was hoping Dunleavy would use his bully pulpit to stand up to Berkowitz. Now we see he supported Berkowitz’s mask mandates, and says other leaders should impose them, instead of telling the people about vitamin D3, C and zinc, led by Dr. Zink.

High Senate stakes: Voters feel frayed and betrayed

PART II: GIESSEL, COGHILL, VON IMHOF

Alaska voters, especially conservative Republicans are angry, frustrated, and feeling betrayed. On Tuesday, many will look for revenge at the polls. Incumbents beware.

Two years ago, conservatives voted in one of their own when they chose Mike Dunleavy as their governor. Dunleavy promised to return to issuing a full yearly permanent fund dividend check. He also said he’d restore the money former Gov. Bill Walker took from Alaskans by ignoring the statutory formula that determined each year the size of the check.

Dunleavy’s plan was to stop the raiding of the fund to feed the insatiable overgrown beast that is Alaska state government.

Most of Dunleavy’s promises never materialized. He certainly could have employed better strategy and been bolder in trying to fulfill his promises. He also could have used his line-item veto pen more.

At one point he secured $130 million in cuts to the bloated university system. The cuts motivated university leaders to find new efficiencies like possibly consolidating campuses. Something that should have been done years ago. It was a major win.

But at the last minute, Dunleavy, possibly spooked by the recall targeting him, reversed most of the $130 million in cuts to the university. For his conservative supporters, it was like having your wind knocked out.

But Dunleavy is not a dictator with unlimited powers. Most of the blame for the governor failing to deliver on many of his promises belong to a hostile House and Senate. Especially since both bodies were made up of majority Republicans.

Conservatives thought the stars were finally aligned with Republicans controlling the House and Senate and governor’s mansion. But the Republicans in name only in the House showed us who they really were and organized with the Democrats. It gave the big government, labor union boss, non-profit cabal, deep-state, and lobbyists pleasing party control of the House. It was a major victory for the Juneau swamp.

Then the Senate fell. President Cathy Giessel, long considered a reliable and consistent conservative morphed into something nobody recognized. Giessel became the governor’s chief antagonist and leader of the resistance.

April 28: Only 4 people in Alaska hospitals with Covid-19; only 37 in Alaska’s hospitals throughout this event!

Finally I got a number of current hospitalizations for Covid-19 patients in Alaska, but still don’t have the written source. Big Pharma and Big Media have been hiding these numbers, pushing fear by focusing on every single death (now a total of 9 statewide), confirmed cases and the Alaska Airlines Center’s overflow emergency beds!

– –

This morning on KENI radio, Dan Fagan said there are only “four people that are currently hospitalized in the state of Alaska as a result of Covid-19. … Four people and we’ve shut down the state.”

And we’ve only had 37 total hospitalizations in the entire state of Alaska due to Covid-19 throughout this entire event — “cumulative,” according to Alaska Department of Health and Social Services Coronavirus Response.

“I think we’ve got four people now — that’s what I read this morning — four people that are currently hospitalized in the state of Alaska as a result of Covid-19. … That’s four people, and we’ve shut down the state.”

Alaska has only since yesterday, 4/27/20 started to lift the unconstitutional lockdown bans. Big Pharma, the media, and our government have needlessly done much harm to Alaskans and Alaska.

How the Murkowski dynasty and machine forced me off the air

By Dan Fagan
Publisher
The Alaska Standard

Is the Murkowski machine behind the Murkowski dynasty really powerful enough to force the number one rated talk show host in the state off the air on the Friday before the election?  As my newfound friend and supporter Sarah would say, you betcha!

Yes it is true former Channel Two news director John Tracy, with the backing of Murkowski’s campaign manager Kevin Sweeney, convinced KFQD general manager Dennis Bookey to take me off the air just four days before election day.

Bookey will join me on the show today to explain why he did what he did. Tune in to hear his thinking on the decision.

[…]The third party in all of this is Murkowski campaign manager Kevin Sweeney. Tracy admits checking with Sweeney and getting the green light before calling to force me off the air. Is it reasonable to assume Sweeney first checked with Murkowski before giving Tracy the okay? Yes. But we will never know for sure. What we do know is the move was a stupid one and will only hurt the Murkowski campaign.

Because the truth of the matter is what I and the 200 or so who signed up as Senate write-in candidates did is a good thing. The state decided to illegally assist Murkowski by printing a list of write in candidates and these protestors were not going to stand by and do nothing. They were determined to minimize the state’s effort to cheat on behalf of Murkowski. I would assume those throwing tea in Boston Harbor more than 200 years ago were criticized for being inappropriate. But these patriotic Americans filing to run for the Senate are proud to take the heat from the liberal elite class.

The state’s attempt to illegally hand out a write-in list to help Murkowski is the latest example of voters watching their government trample on the law and constitution. With Obama Care, bailouts, the illegal hiring of legislators, the building of a crime lab at five times what it should cost, voters are feeling hopeless, helpless, and without the ability to make a difference. They fear they have no option but to sit by as politicians waste trillions and mortgage our kid’s future.

When a caller on Thursday’s show suggested we fill that illegal write-in list with a bunch of names to minimize the state’s attempt to assist Murkowski, I thought it was a great idea. Once folks who registered started calling in, you could hear the enthusiasm in their voices. All of a sudden they were not helpless anymore. They stood up against a government out of control. They realized in this case, they could make a difference. It was inspiring.

It’s time as Alaskans and Americans we stand up to the elite class running our government and pandering to special interests at our expense. Thursday’s write in campaign was a start. Of course the media and liberals like John Tracy will throw a hissy fit and try to exert their power. But enough is enough! We must take our country back no matter how hard the fight, no matter how uphill the battle, no matter how long the struggle. Consider the alternative.

Anchorage Daily News refuses to cover story because it could help Joe Miller

By Dan Fagan
Publisher
The Alaska Standard

Editors note*** Almost a day after the story broke nationally the Daily News finally covered the story whitewashing it of course.***

The Anchorage Daily News is refusing to cover a story that has already hit the national media.

KTVA, Channel 11 News employees were caught on tape conspiring or at the very least hoping they could dig up some dirt on the Miller campaign. You can read about the story on a number of national media outlets website including the Wall Street Journal. The Daily News? Not interested.

Here’s the Wall Street Journal’s version of the story the ADN is censoring.

Employees at a CBS affiliate in Anchorage left an accidental voicemail for an aide to GOP Senate candidate Joe Miller in which they discussed and laughed about the possibility of reporting on the appearance of sex offenders at a Miller rally. And they chatted about responding with a Twitter alert to “any sort of chaos whatsoever” including the candidate being “punched.”

Jerry Bever, general manager for KTVA, said in a statement that a call to Miller spokesman Randy DeSoto to discuss the candidate’s planned appearance on a newscast wasn’t disconnected after the conversation ended. The call took place during a KTVA staff meeting to plan coverage of that evening’s Miller rally in downtown Anchorage.

Mr. Miller is opposed by fellow Republican Lisa Murkowski, who is running as a write-in candidate after being defeated by Mr. Miller in the August primary, and Democrat Scott McAdams.

Mr. Miller’s campaign released the recording over the weekend, saying that KTVA reporters were heard “creating, if not fabricating, two stories” about Mr. Miller.

On Sunday, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin fumed about the KTVA recording during an appearance on Fox News Sunday. She told host Chris Wallace that Mr. Miller “has had to put up with up against the GOP machine and the Democrats and the liberal media in Alaska. It’s no wonder that the numbers are tightening in that race.” She also said, “We have the tape, Chris, and I can’t wait till it busts out all over the nation to show what it is that we — kind of what I put up with for two years now with the media — but what Joe Miller is faced with in dealing with somebody who feels — Lisa Murkowski – so entitled to that seat that she and some of her people, including some complicits in the media, will do anything. They will stop at nothing…”

Sarah Palin stands up for Dan Fagan, Anchorage talk-show host who was pulled after creatively protesting Alaska Court’s decision to allow sore looser, Lisa Murkowski’s name to be on a write-in list

From: Facebook

Lisa, are you going to shut down my Facebook page for writing this?

by Sarah Palin on Friday, October 29, 2010 at 9:20pm

Yesterday, Lisa Murkowski’s hired guns threatened radio host Dan Fagan, and more importantly, the station that airs Fagan’s show, with legal action for allegedly illegal “electioneering.” The station, unlike Murkowski, who is flush with millions of dollars from vested corporate interests, does not have a budget for a legal defense. So it did what any small market station would do when threatened by Beltway lawyers charging $500 to $1000 an hour – they pulled Dan Fagan off the air.

Does all this sound heavy handed? It is. It is an interference with Dan Fagan’s constitutional right to free speech. It is also a shocking indictment against Lisa Murkowski. How low will she go to hold onto power? First, she gets the Division of Elections to change its write-in process – a process that Judge Pfiffner correctly determined had been in place without change for 50 years. She is accepting financial support from federal contractors, an act that is highly questionable and now pending before the FEC. And today, she played her last card. She made it clear that if you disagree with her and encourage others to exercise their civic rights, she’ll take you off the air.

The concept of “electioneering” involves several issues, but typically refers to campaigning at the polls, which is appropriately banned. Under federal law, it can also mean paying for advertising on broadcast media during a federal election cycle, and it requires disclosures if done by groups and corporations. Fagan used satire to mock Murkowski’s write-in efforts and encouraged Alaskans to run as write-in candidates. That is not illegal. That is free speech.

Individuals like Dan Fagan have a fundamental right to speak their minds without threats from the incumbent Senator from Alaska.
