CNBC Anchors Mortified That Ron Paul Was Allowed Air Time — “This is not going as planned”

From: Infowars

CNBC anchors were left dumbfounded and acted overtly cantankerous yesterday after Congressman Ron Paul’s opening statement at the House Financial Services Committee was broadcast live to an audience of millions.

CNBC went live to the House, clearly without knowing that the Texas Congressman had the initial Republican statement at the hearing of Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke.

After the Congressman spent two and a half minutes lecturing Bernanke on sound money principles, warning that the financial crisis cannot be solved by merely creating credit out of thin air, CNBC cut back to the studio.

Anchors Erin Burnett and Mark Haines were so perturbed by what they had just heard that they immediately cut to a commercial break:

Haines: “This is not going as planned

Burnett: “No it is not”

Haines: “We were told that there would be a very limited number of opening statements, and it seems to be getting out of control.”

Burnett: “Here’s what we forgot, everybody is taking this live, you know what that means? Why would they miss an opportunity for free air time?”

Haines: “We’re going to take a commercial break and get them out of the way, so that when something really substandard [he must mean substantial?] is happening, we don’t have to interrupt them.”

Watch the video:

The Congressman’s speech was powerful and eye opening:

This is the end of an era,” said Paul, “we can’t reinflate the bubble….if we think that we can reinflate this bubble by artificially creating credit out of thin air and calling it capital, believe me we don’t have a prayer of solving these problems – we have a total misunderstanding of what credit is versus capital.”

“We Will Recover,” Says Obama. “No We Won’t,” Says Celente; Government Policies Doomed to Fail

By Gerald Celente, director, The Trends Research Institute

From: Rense.com

‘We Will Recover’ – Obama…
No We Won’t Says Celente

KINGSTON, NY, 27, February 2009 — The wealth of plain, hard facts upon which The Trends Research Institute’s forecasts are based belie the lofty promises made by President Obama’s first address to Congress.

“We will rebuild, we will recover, and the United States of America will emerge stronger than before,” said President Obama.

Said Celente, “The government has yet to fix the levees in New Orleans.  There is still a hole in the ground where the World Trade Center once stood.   Washington has started two wars it can’t win and doesn’t know how to finish.  The massive bank, brokerage, auto and insurance company bailouts have done nothing to resuscitate the sinking economy. The Troubled Assets Relief Program (TARP) that candidate Obama championed has not “relieved.”  President Obama’s $787 billion American Recovery and Reinvestment Act will not lead to recovery and the nation will not ’emerge stronger than before,'” Celente continued.

Chuck Baldwin: The Monster Eating Our Country Alive

From: News with Views, President And Congress Grovel Before The Fed

… America is being run by a private banking cartel, the majority of whom are not even citizens of these United States.

Ever since the Fed was created in 1913, America has been subjected to recession after recession, not to mention one Great Depression. Some are even predicting that the United States is now actually entering a second Great Depression. Please understand this: the Federal Reserve has manipulated every bit of this financial crisis for the express purpose of enriching the international bankers on the backs (and bankruptcies) of the American taxpayers. And what does our illustrious Congress do? They continue to give billions and even trillions of taxpayer dollars to the very same group of gangsters who created and perpetuate this financial fraud. And, as with Congress, Presidents from both major parties likewise promote and defend this chicanery.

Yet, the U.S. Constitution, in Article. I. Section. 8. Paragraph. 5., clearly gives Congress the authority “To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures.”

This constitutional requirement makes two obvious demands: 1) only the elected Congress, not some private foreign (or even domestic) banking interest, has the power to make monetary policy, 2) U.S. currency must be hard currency, i.e. gold and silver. Paper money–known as the Federal Reserve Notes–is not even legal tender under the U.S. Constitution.

In truth, the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 is itself unconstitutional. In simple terms, the Act did not amend or expunge Article. I. Section. 8. Paragraph. 5. of the Constitution; it merely ignored it. (And Congresses and Presidents have been ignoring the Constitution ever since.)

In fact, Article. I. Section. 10. Paragraph 1. of the U.S. Constitution specifically states, “No State shall . . . coin Money; emit Bills of Credit; make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts.”

Can anyone not see that the Federal Reserve is an illegitimate system? I will even go so far as to say that the Federal Reserve should be regarded as a corrupt, criminal system! If I were President, not only would I do everything in my power to oppose any and all financial bailouts to these international banksters, I would instruct the Justice Department to pursue criminal charges of fraud, corruption, manipulation, and outright thievery against the Fed. Instead of padding their fat assets in a million-dollar penthouse, they should be serving most of the rest of their lives in the Big House.

Even the man who created the Federal Reserve, President Woodrow Wilson, later admitted the gravity of his sin. Years after signing the Federal Reserve Act into law, Wilson was quoted by Senator Robert Owen, Former Chairman, Committee on Banking and Currency (who was, himself, the chief sponsor of the Federal Reserve Act in the Senate, but who later vehemently repudiated it), as saying, “A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated Governments in the civilized world–no longer a Government by free opinion, no longer a Government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a Government by the opinion and duress of small groups of dominant men.”

Obviously, Wilson’s (and Owen’s) recantation was too little, too late. He created the monster that is eating our country alive–even up to this very moment.

In the meantime, Congressman Ron Paul has again introduced a bill in the House of Representatives to terminate the Federal Reserve. It is H.R. 833: To abolish the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and the Federal reserve banks. The Bill was introduced on February 3 and, to date, has no cosponsors. That’s right. No cosponsors.

Another Blow to Magic Bullet Drugs: Statins Impair Brains

From: Natural News

Statin drugs can reduce soaring cholesterol levels, according to countless ads touting these supposed “wonder” drugs, that means they are brimming with health benefits because they lower the risk of cardiovascular disease. The problem is a host of side effects from eye problems and muscle pain to heart arrhythmias and liver disorders have been linked to these widely prescribed medications. Now comes research by an Iowa State University scientist that strongly suggests statins also could be robbing brains of thinking power and memory by doing exactly what they are supposed to do — reduce cholesterol.

It turns out that statins inhibit not only the liver from making cholesterol but may also block the brain from making cholesterol. That’s a serious consequence, according to Yeon-Kyun Shin, a biophysics professor in the department of biochemistry, biophysics and molecular biology at Iowa State, because cholesterol is vital for healthy and optimum brain function. “If you deprive cholesterol from the brain, then you directly affect the machinery that triggers the release of neurotransmitters. Neurotransmitters affect the data-processing and memory functions. In other words, how smart you are and how well you remember things,” said Dr. Shin in a statement to the media.

In a study published in the February issue of the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Dr. Shin and colleagues tested the activity of the neurotransmitter-release processes of brain cells without cholesterol present to see how well they functioned. Then cholesterol was placed in the system and the scientists measured the transmitter function again. The result? Cholesterol increased the neurotransmitter function by five times.

‘Toxic’ cabin air found in new plane study

From: Telegraph

Fresh concerns about whether passengers could be inhaling contaminated air on aircraft have resurfaced, after undercover investigators claimed to have found high levels of a dangerous toxin on board several planes.

As part of an investigation by a German television network, ARD, and Schweizer Fernsehen (Swiss television), 31 swab samples were taken secretly last month from the aircraft cabins of popular airlines.

These were analysed in laboratories at the University of British Columbia, under the supervision of Prof Christian van Netten, a leading toxicologist.

Twenty-eight were found to contain high levels of tricresyl phosphate (TCP), an organophosphate contained in modern jet oil as an antiwear additive, which can lead to drowsiness, headaches, respiratory problems or neurological illnesses.

Scientists refer to the condition as Aerotoxic Syndrome. Dr Mackenzie Ross, a clinical neuropsychologist at University College London, says the illness may be affecting up to 200,000 passengers each year.

A Telegraph Travel investigation last February revealed that hundreds of incidents of contaminated air had been reported by British pilots.

Scientists and pressure groups claim that the toxins enter the cabin as a result of the “bleed air” system that is used on modern aircraft.

Air is drawn out of the compression section of the engine and cooled. It then enters the cabin, where it mixes with recirculated air that has passed through filters designed to remove bacteria and viruses.

However, these “recirculated air” filters do not remove fumes or vapours from the engine. So if engine oil or hydraulic fuel leaks, toxic chemicals can contaminate the air supply.

The Boeing Dreamliner 787, due to be launched next year, will be the first passenger jet since the mid-1950s to use air supplied from another source. It has previously been deemed to be too expensive to do this.

Scientists, former pilots and aviation pressure groups have accused the industry of knowing about the problem for decades and doing little to tackle it. …

Devvy Kidd — Joseph Biden: Liar, Cheat, Traitor — NWO Globalist

From: News with Views

Back on December 18, 2006, I wrote a column on Joseph Biden’s decision to once again run for president. Biden has now been tapped as Marxist Barack Hussein Obama’s choice for vice-president. One columnist wrote this was akin to a Watergate suicide. Biden was dropped like a hot potato by the DNC in 1998 when he ran for president because Biden was exposed as a liar and cheat, although now it seems to be a qualifier for both the Democrat and Republican parties. I’m not a Republican and I would never vote a despicable person like Juan McCain. Like Obama, Biden plagiarized someone else’s speech. Biden also plagiarized in law school; NY Times article back in 1987.

Some boob tube pundits have remarked that Joseph Biden is a “cultural Catholic.” A what? There is no such thing as a cultural Catholic. You either follow Church doctrine or you’re a heretic. Biden believes Roe v Wade should stand, but believes life begins at conception. So, while Biden believes a baby is a human life at conception, he believes it’s okay that nine men on the U.S. Supreme Court ruled it’s legal to kill that human life. Biden believes that sodomite and lesbian marriages are inevitable, but doesn’t support them. However, he is considered to be pro sexual deviants and their causes. (Voted yes to expand unconstitutional hate crime laws to ‘sexual orientation.’) The Catholic Church forbids abortion and the abomination of sodomy and lesbian sex. Clearly, while professing to be a ‘practicing Catholic,’ Biden has cherry picked which of God’s laws and the Church he will uphold. […]

In the interview cited above, Biden also makes this statement which I pointed out in my December 18, 2006, column cited above: “Well, I was 29 years old when I came to the US Senate.” It’s also in his official bio here: “Joe Biden has represented the state of Delaware in the United States Senate since 1972, when he was elected at the age of twenty-nine.”

Wait one minute. Art. 1, Sec. 3, says: “No person shall be a Senator who shall not have attained to the age of thirty years…..” The fraudulent ratification of the Seventeenth Amendment did not change the age requirement in the U.S. Constitution. How did he get “elected” to office when he clearly did not meet the age requirement? In his own words, Biden says he was elected at age 29, not 30.

Joseph Biden is also a traitor. I don’t use that word lightly, but Biden has clearly shown by his own words and actions over the decades that he is for a one world government: a one world banking system, one world religion (new age), one military force, world regional government. Joseph Biden by his own words and actions has been a participant in bringing these united States of America into a one world order and for that, he is a traitor:

His full speech is here [entitled: On the Threshold of the New World Order: The Wilsonian Vision and American Foreign Policy in the 1990s and beyond – ed.] and every American should read Biden’s run off his mouth about the “military dimension of America’s new world order agenda.” How he goes on about how we must look to the ‘vision’ of Woodrow Wilson and Harry Truman in laying the groundwork for a new world order and “complete the task.” Wilson signed the unconstitutional Federal Reserve Act, December 23, 1913. As for Truman, I believe this sums it up: “When Franklin Roosevelt died during the closing days of WWII, it fell to Truman to end the war and formulate policies for the new world order.” The Smithsonian Treasury: The Presidents (1991), pg 72

Suzanna Gratia-Hupp: What the Second Amendment is REALLY For

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhozRN87VRA]Suzanna Gratia Hupp second amendment

Uploaded on Feb 3, 2009

Suzanna Gratia Hupp explaining what the second amendment is all about. It’s heartbreaking to listen to her story and how she lost both parents. She left her gun in the car and was not able to protect her family in the Killeen, TX shootings, which killed 23 people. Why did she leave the gun in the car ? She left it in the car to avoid the chance of being arrested with a felony charge, carrying a gun in her purse was a felony in the state of TX back then. there are people who use shootings to ban guns, guns don’t walk into restaurants or schools, people do, it’s up to good people to protect others and themselves from bad people. Evil can only prevail if good people do nothing. The second amendment is a Constitutional right and I respect those who decide not to use that right, as much I respect others to respect my decision to use that right as a law abiding citizen.

It’s the Demopublicans/Republocrats, who (except for Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich & a few others) are controlled by the global elite — whose goal is to destroy America, to bring us into the one-world government in which no one can buy or sell without taking the mark, prophesied in Revelation. Lia’s mother continued, “Initially, I tried helping her find other topics to speak on, but, in the end, she was adamant. She just felt she wanted to continue with the topic of abortion. So she forfeited her chance to compete in order to speak on something she was passionate about.”

Lia’s teacher was so impressed by the speech that she allowed her student to advance as the winner. Lia presented her speech to judges in front of her entire school on Feb. 10.

The school principal and teachers called Lia’s presentation the “obvious winner” – but the judges suddenly disqualified her the following day “because of the topic and her position on abortion,” her mother said.

Lia’s father later revealed that the judges had a “big disagreement.” One was offended by the speech and voluntarily stepped down while the others reversed their earlier decision – declaring her the winner.

John Williams: When to Expect $Hyperinflation$$$$$$$$$$$

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9aMmjwaWtsE]

Respected economist John Williams, editor of ShadowStats.com, a popular website that tracks real inflation figures, is advising that people hoard physical gold as well as food items in bulk so that they have some means with which to barter as the economic crisis turns ugly.

Three or four years into the future I think we could be in a hyperinflation, within the current year you’re going to see much higher inflation than most people are looking at,” Williams told MarketWatch.

Williams said that his definition of hyperinflation would be a situation in which a $100 dollar bill would become more functional as a piece of toilet paper than a store of value. …

At least as far back as April 2008, six months before the collapse of Lehman Brothers and Bear Stearns, Williams predicted that the world economy was entering a phase of “hyperinflationary depression” that would peak in 2010.

In a hyperinflation special report, Williams said that the U.S. was on an irreversible course of “financial armageddon” that would likely lead to “extreme political change and/or civil unrest”.

Jim Rogers: Why Bailouts are ‘Terrible Economics,’ ‘Horrible Morality’ and They’re Not Going to Work

From: PrisonPlanet

In an interview with Sir David Frost on Al Jazeera television, veteran investor Jim Rogers pinned the blame for the economic crisis squarely at the feet of the Federal Reserve, and said that the World Bank and the IMF should be abolished, not given more power, if a recovery is to be made.

Rogers strongly slammed Obama’s stimulus package, pointing out that more good money was being thrown after bad, and that the bailouts were only making things worse. The veteran investor said that the U.S. was following the same disastrous policies as Japan in propping up companies that should be allowed to fail, and that the same consequences would be reaped as much as 20 years into the future.

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxOyLrHRMHg]

The way the system is supposed to work, when times like this come, the solid people, the competent people, take over the assets from the incompetent people and then you start over again from a sound base, this is what South Korea did, this is what Russia did, and they did fine. What they’re doing this time is they’re taking the assets away from the competent people and giving them to the incompetent people and saying now you compete with the competent people with their assets and their money – it’s terrible economics and [it is horrible morality—not that politicians care about morality—but – ed.] it’s not going to work, it hasn’t worked before and it’s not going to work this time,” said Rogers.

Rogers said that price had to be paid for 15 years of excess, but that the crisis could have been overcome in two or three years had zombie companies and banks been allowed to go to the wall.

“The central bank in the United States, the Federal Reserve, would not let people fail,” said Rogers, pointing out that had former Fed chairman Alan Greenspan let Long Term Capital Management fail in 1998, both Bear Stearns, Fannie Mae and Lehman Brothers would still be in business, “because people would have taken such a hit, and so many people would have been fired, these bozos that were doing this sort of thing, that you would not have had these problems.”

The way the system is supposed to work is when you make a mistake you go broke, he refused to let people go broke, he saved his friends and now we’re all having to pay for them,” added Rogers.

Asked if he had any respect for the World Bank and the IMF, Rogers responded, “Zero….the best thing that would happen would be if we could abolish the World Bank and the IMF, they were set up in 1945 and ‘46 with very sound goals and very sound aspirations – they have far far far left behind those aspirations and goals, they’re now run by people who do little more than take care of themselves….look at their projects and you would be mortified.”

In response to a question about what if any sectors would be profitable amidst the crash, Rogers advised people invested in stocks to “get yourself a tractor and learn how to farm”.

‘Coast’ Recap 2/12/09: UFO Wars — See UFOs with Night Vision Optics

From: Coast to Coast AM

Check out Ed Grimsley’s aerial video footage, captured through night vision.

Recap

UFO Wars

Appearing during the middle half of the show, UFO researcher Ed Grimsley spoke about his observations of spacecraft, some of which appear to be conducting wars. As a teen in 1961, he said he first saw UFOs firing at each other in the night skies, while he was staying at a campsite. Years later, he sought out night vision equipment to look for UFOs– he currently uses 3rd generation military-grade PV7 night vision goggles (estimated cost between $3000-$4000).

Grimsley reported seeing crafts of different shapes and sizes, and estimated that some of the vehicles were hundreds of miles out in space. One craft, he said, was moving at around 5,000 mph and traversed through a blue crystalline tube, an energy field that it projected in front of itself. In describing battles between ships, he said they fire laser beams or ball energy on each other, and the weapons seem to travel 3-4 times faster than what he first observed in 1961.

Celente: The People Who Will Survive This Greatest Depression…

Transcribed by Jeff Fenske from Dr. Bill Deagle’s Nutrimedical Report, 2/9/09

“The people that are going to survive
this Greatest Depression
are going to be healthy:
physically
,
emotionally,
spiritually,
as well as financially.”

– Gerald Celente

.
…..
.

“I don’t have to tell you the health of this nation.

You look back at photos of people during the Great Depression. They weren’t riding around at Wal-Marts on these electric carts to get around.

They were self-sufficient, and they were in much better shape, physically, emotionally and spiritually. There was more of whole-health healing going on back then than there is now.”

– Gerald Celente

AMAZING!!! Historians Twist History of the Great Depression(s) to Make Gov’t Intervention Appear Desirable

Transcribed by Jeff Fenske from: Tom Woods and Burton Folsom on Glenn Beck “Meltdown” 02/09/2009

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXxNRNOjCM8]

Thomas Woods:

“There’s the case of the Great Depression of 1920, which no one’s ever heard of, because the government at that time didn’t do anything to try to get us out of it. They did the exact opposite of what every Keynesian blockhead, today, tells us to do. …

Here you have a depression that was worse in its first year than the first year of the depression of ’29, and yet, in no time the country was back on its feet, setting production records once again. All the bad malinvestments of the preceding boom were all cleared out, and you had a robust recovery.

Whereas in 1929 and thereafter, what did you have? Tinker, tinker, tinker, year after year after year. And regardless of the fact that in the media you hear, even today, that: ‘Herbert Hoover sat back and did nothing during the Great Depression.’ If only he had! Everything he did made it worse, so that in 1932, when F.D.R. was running against him, his Vice Presidential nominee actually said: ‘Hoover is leading the country down the road to socialism.’ Everybody knew he was intervening. And so year after year after year, the depression persists. You’ve got double-digit unemployment.

Maybe there’s a lesson here. The one time the government said, in American history, ‘we’re going to roll up our sleeves and solve this thing,’ the thing would not go away. They would not allow the recovery to take place.

[…]

If we [had] let the market set interest rates, you don’t have these crazy asset bubbles.”

Glenn Beck:

“When I read things like both of your gentleman’s books…. I read the history of this country. Woodrow Wilson was a nightmare. F.D.R. not anything like what I thought he was, and what’s being taught at school. Burton, why are we not taught the truth?

Burton Folsom:

Historians are committed that you need to centralize power in Washington.”
