Link Between School Shootings and Prescription Meds

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RdXSjuH8bjQ]

Since 1988, the year after Prozac was approved for adult use, there have been 46 incidents of school violence. Of these: 18 were reported to be taking psychiatric drugs or withdrawing from them at the time; 18 kids, age 11 to 19, killed 47 people and wounded 104; 9 were on antidepressants; 5 on stimulants Ritalin or Dexedrine; 1 was taking a tranquilizer; and 3 others took unspecific psychiatric drugs.

How widespread is the drugging of our children by a profession that claims they are only helping? The Journal of American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry reported a 500 percent increase between 1987 and 2002 of children age 18 years and younger. 500%!

Reports of 930 acts of violence over an eight year period were caused by individuals of all ages shown to be on SSRI antidepressants. Does this sound alarming to anyone?

FDA warning labels are now mandatory on such drugs. Why then do we as a people continue to allow these drugs to exist? According to Harvard Medical School report, “people feel like jumping out of their skins… make people suicidal of homicidal.”.

Why Does the World Feel Wrong? “I had assumed that the people who wield power feel similarly about moral issues as I do”

From: Strike the Root

Consider these events:

1. A president who started two aggressive wars, who bears responsibility for the loss of thousands of American lives along with hundreds of thousands of Iraqi and Afghan lives, leaves office as a free man without a felony record or any negative repercussions.

2. Meanwhile, the same populace that has intimate experience with lying politicians appears utterly smitten with a smooth-talking new president promising change and demanding sacrifice.

3. The Congress, which had an approval rate of 14% and which just passed a $700 billion bailout over the objections of a majority of Americans, had a re-election rate exceeding 95%.

4. Untold millions of Americans voice support of military troops as these very people are needlessly killed, injured, and separated from their families and productive work at home.

5. A general populace believed that buying unproductive assets, like housing, could make them wealthy, forever, without any coherent explanation why.

6. Researchers who pursue alternative explanations for AIDS and cancer get their funding cut and have the results of their research squelched, while others who try to improve life by providing healthful foods find themselves under attack.

Overt criminality by leaders and passive, unclear thinking by the proles have become the norm. The two go together, creating a symbiotic ecosystem of tyranny. Fraud, theft, and murder have become widespread, just as the scale of lies told and believed have reached new heights. Irresponsibility has become socialized while people in the honest pursuit of good get thwarted.

Those of us who want little more than peace and freedom don’t run the world. Pursuing freedom contradicts controlling others, so we can reason that people who pursue power have some motivations separate from our own.

I have not fully comprehended the implications of this until recently. Despite all the evidence to the contrary, I had assumed that the people who wield power feel similarly about moral issues as I do—I just couldn’t see why they commit and justify unethical behavior. I already knew that states operate according to a code that the rest of us don’t follow in our own lives. Nevertheless, I assumed that a man who acts without regard to moral laws must feel guilty about it. Then, one day, I stumbled onto this idea: Suppose he doesn’t.

With only small ambitions, he probably behaves like a common criminal, a predator. He lies to gain advantage, uses force to get his way, and steals without conscience. Not feeling guilty about unethical behavior motivates him to instigate further criminal acts.

Making a Killing: The Psychotropic Drug Scam

“The FDA admits that probably only 1% of all the adverse drug effects are actually reported by patients or physicians.”

– Dr. Gary Kohls

Psychotropic drugs. It’s the story of big money–drugs that fuel a $330
billion psychiatric industry, without a single cure. The cost in human
terms is even greater–these drugs now kill an estimated 42,000 people
every year. And the death count keeps rising. Containing more than
175 interviews with lawyers, mental health experts, the families of victims
and the survivors themselves, this riveting documentary rips the mask
off psychotropic drugging and exposes a brutal but well-entrenched
money-making machine.

From Willful Ignorance through Cognitive Dissonance to “Could I Be Wrong?”

From: 1984USA.com

[…]

Willful Ignorance, Cognitive Dissonance, & The Kubler-Ross Model

In the diagram above, the decision block labeled COULD I BE WRONG?” is the kingpin of advancing forward in consciousness and knowledge.

The $64,000 question is “Will somebody ask that question of themselves?

WILLFULLY IGNORANT: A large consortium of people are, as Biblically mentioned, Willfully Ignorant. They actively exert force and pressure to remain in a condition of being uninformed or unaware, willfully. What is stupefying is that they exert more energy and waste more time to remain in this state than it takes to become informed and aware of what’s going on in the first place.

COGNITIVE DISSONANCE: Cognitive dissonance is a psychological state that describes the uncomfortable feeling when a person begins to understand that something the person believes to be true is, in fact, not true. Cognitive dissonance is often associated with the tendency for people to resist information that they don’t want to think about, because if they did it would create uncomfort, and perhaps require them to act in ways that depart from their comfortable habits. They usually have at least partial awareness of the information, without having moved to full acceptance of it, and are thus in a state of denial about it. This “irrational inability to incorporate rational information” is perhaps the most common perception of cognitive dissonance.

THE KUBLER-ROSS MODEL: This model was introduced by Elisabeth Kübler-Ross in her 1969 book “On Death and Dying”. The stages have become well-known as the “Five Stages of Grief”. Kübler-Ross originally applied these stages to any form of catastrophic personal loss (job, income, freedom). They can also be applied to the process of “coming to grip with reality” in accepting devastating truth. Kübler-Ross also claimed these steps do not necessarily come in the order noted below, nor are all steps experienced by all people, though she stated a person will always experience at least two.

The stages are:

1. Denial: “It can’t be happening.”
2. Anger: “Why me? It’s not fair.”
3. Bargaining: “Just let me live to see my children graduate.”
4. Depression: “I’m so sad, why bother with anything?”
5. Acceptance: “It’s going to be OK.”

Are You Mentally Ready To Learn The Truth?

If you can’t make a conscious effort to overcome your mental programming, you cannot leave the little circle of “those who are fooled all the time.”

John McCain calls JFK’s assassination an “intervention”

From: InfoWars

From the final presidential debate of the campaign. terrifying during the debate was the moment when John McCain was comparing himself and Obama to Goldwater and Jack Kennedy when he described JFK’s assassination as something like this: “the intervention…” (eyes open wide, eyebrows high, grabs nose) “…err tragedy in Dallas…”

Of course it was an intervention– in economic terms it would be a “correction” from the point of view of the continuing government, to replace the errant president.

Intervention” is a well known C.I.A. term for an assassination operation, and also commonly phrased in terms of military interventions.

Why Do People Lie? Fear, Lack of Love & Greed

From:geocities.com/changes1611, Why Do We Lie?

There are probably as many alleged “reasons” as there are people. But in the simplest of terms, they all fall into one or more of three groups: fear, greed and hate.

1. Fear (of being rejected, and fear of losing something [greed]):

“One other point to make, in identifying who may be an individual who lies, is a simple characterization of the perpetrator. Kashy and DePaulo, in a 1996 study, attempted to diagram the “liar”. It was found that those who tended to lie more were individuals who were more concerned with self-presentation and were more sociable. …

2. Fear of conflict:

“Behavioral scientist Wendy Gamble, associate professor at the University of Arizona’s School of Family and Consumer Sciences, has studied lying among school children, finding that children show a surprisingly sophisticated understanding of lying as a communication and relationship tool. “Children are very savvy in using deceit to preserve and maintain relationships. They learn that this behavior helps avoid conflict.” …

4. Fear (of being unpopular):

What makes charismatic liars so effective is that they believe their own lies.
“They are not acting,” says Ford. “People with a strong sense of personal identity have difficulty being good actors. Good actors can pretend. They can change their identity.”
The truly charismatic liars are more believable because they actually feel they are telling the truth.

As well, we are more inclined to believe what physically attractive, famous and powerful people tell us, whether it’s true or not, he explains. Ford places this behaviour in the “transference” category. “When we think people have a certain authority over us or that they are better than us, they remind us of our parents so we accept anything they say without question,” he says.

And lying, as an acceptable, even admirable, social skill, is gaining popularity, explains Ford.
Politicians who walk away unscathed from their lies and continue to be adored by their public reinforce the message it’s okay to lie under certain circumstances. Who can forget the words of the world’s most charming prevaricator, former U.S. president Bill Clinton: “I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky.”

Ford is convinced there are a number of forces conspiring to turn us into liars. He blames the media, particularly television, for spreading the word that lying is not only useful but fun….

5. Fear (Self-protection, Fear of Truth):

“Each of us in our way selectively chooses what we wish to say,” says psychologist Charles Ford, author of Lies! Lies!! Lies!!!, “or we choose not to provide the whole truth.”

Lying to protect yourself is the most common sort of lie, psychologists agree. Another common lie is self-deception. You convince yourself that red traffic light was still yellow to protect yourself from feeling like a lawbreaker. …

6. “Social lies, or white lies, are so common most people wouldn’t even call them lies. The intent is not to deceive, but to respect the other person’s sensitivity.”

This is a lie we tell ourselves for any one or all of various reasons.

One reason is that often we are afraid to tell the truth because we fear losing something. We don’t know how to be both absolutely truthful and how to demonstrate love at the same time. We fear that if we tell the absolute truth we shall hurt or end the social relationship. This lying is not out of love or sensitivity, but out of selfishness. We do this with family, close friends, employers and coworkers, or in any relationship where we feel we have something to lose by telling the truth.

Another reason is that we don’t really care but we still wish to avoid an unpleasant or dangerous situation. … We claim sensitivity, but the fact is that we are too insensitive and contemptible of others to be able to tell the truth.

In some cases, we may know from previous experience that the person really doesn’t want the truth. They are practicing self-deception and do not want to be disturbed in their fantasy. For us to lie to them makes us an enabler of their self-deception in the same way that we can enable alcoholics or drug abusers. The fact that others choose to lie to themselves does not require that we participate in their lying. We make a choice to participate or not, depending upon our own fears or insensitivity. We choose to participate in their lying because we fear losing something or because we don’t really care enough to hold up the truth. Again it comes down to fear or insensitivity. Insensitivity is a lack of love, or in other words, hate.

“Open rebuke is better than secret love.
Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.”
(Pro. 27:5-6).

The Power of Conformity (From Candid Camera)

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cC7zoI5yBVY]

Candid Camera was a popular television program in the US in the 1960s.

The program used the classic methodology of naturalistic experiments in social psychology as the source of its humorous scenarios.

The resulting programs were not only entertaining, but also potentially instructive.

For example, how independent is the average person when confronted with the all-powerful “consensus of the group?”

Not very.

Creating a consensus quickly is the goal of every “shock and awe” propagandist.

That’s why it’s often true that “a lie makes it half way around the world before the truth gets its pants on.”

Professional liars have their stories worked out well in advance and then pump them out hard and fast long before thoughtful, honest analysts have the chance to ask even the first question.

Once the consensus is pointing in one direction, it becomes very difficult to take, hold and promote a contrary point of view, even if that point of view is accurate and the consensus is completely false.

Dr. Blaylock: The Chemical Dumbing Down of America—”That’s What They Want”

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8kgJfw699E]

“Were developing a society because of all these different toxins known to affect brain function.

We’re seeing a society that not only has a lot more people of lower IQ, but a lot fewer people of higher IQ. In other words: a dumbing down, a chemical dumbing down of society.

So everyone is sort of mediocre. That leaves them dependent on government, because they can’t excel.

We have these people of lower IQ who are totally dependent. Then we have this mass of people who are going to believe anything they are told because they can’t really think clearly—and very few people of a very high IQ have good cognitive function who can figure this all out.

And that’s what they want.

So you can kind of piece it together as to why they are so insistent in spending so many hundreds of millions of dollars of propaganda money to dumb down society.”

Older Brain Really May Be a Wiser Brain

From: The New York Times

When older people can no longer remember names at a cocktail party, they tend to think that their brainpower is declining. But a growing number of studies suggest that this assumption is often wrong.

Instead, the research finds, the aging brain is simply taking in more data and trying to sift through a clutter of information, often to its long-term benefit.

The studies are analyzed in a new edition of a neurology book, “Progress in Brain Research.”

Some brains do deteriorate with age. Alzheimer’s disease, for example, strikes 13 percent of Americans 65 and older. But for most aging adults, the authors say, much of what occurs is a gradually widening focus of attention….

Antidepressants Now Most Prescribed Drug Of All

From: Rense.com

This past week the CDC released some very shocking news – antidepressants are now officially the most prescribed drugs on the market today.

[…]

And why is that news shocking? Let’s take a look at the facts:

#1 In 2004 the FDA began to warn the public that they were seeing an increase in suicides among youth with the use of antidepressant medications. We now have medical studies showing that antidepressants:

– are of no more benefit than a sugar pill

– produce fatal birth defects from heart malformations and PPH (Primary Pulminary Hypertension)

– produce mania which includes: wild spending leading to bankruptcy, sexual compulsions, pyromania leading to arson, another form of mania leads to compulsions for alcohol

– keep patients from forming or maintaining meaningful romantic relationships and that marriage relationships of 40 + years suddenly end with the numbness that comes from these drugs thus destroying many families via divorce.

– increase chances of breast cancer by 7 times

– induce LSD flashbacks and LSD like reactions

– produce amazingly high incidents of psychotic breaks leading to an increase in Bipolar Disorder of over 4000% in one decade!

– double the level of cortisol with one dose (steroid effect)

– produce Diabetes, Alzheimer’s, Autism, Fybromyalgia – all of which have skyrocketed in the last two decades that these drugs have become so widely used

– produce pedophilia while we now have an epidemic of female school teachers seducing male students

– dramatically increase suicide

– so strongly affect memory that “amnesia” is listed as a “frequent” side effect leaving many patients with severe memory loss and false memories leading them to falsely accuse others of various abuses

– produce serious weight gain leading to many additional health problems

– reports are that approximately one third of pregnant women are now taking antidepressants as their baby’s brains form in the womb leaving us to ask what the end result might be

Forty-Fold Increase in Bipolar Disorder in Children in Just 10 Years!

From: Natural News

The diagnosis of children with bipolar disorder increased 40-fold in the time period between 1994 and 2003, a new study published in the Archives of General Psychiatry has revealed.

Bipolar disorder, formerly known as manic depression, is a term applied to a condition in adults in which a person swings between severe manic highs — characterized by high energy, little sleep, and frenetic activity — and depressive lows, characterized by not only negative emotions such as sadness, anger and guilt, but also by disrupted sleep and eating patterns, irritability, chronic pain and even suicidal thoughts. Diagnosis of children with the disorder was very rare until the mid-1990s….

Skousen: Anti-Depressants Suppress the Conscience Part of the Brain

World Affairs Brief February 25, 2005 Copyright Joel Skousen. Partial quotations with attribution permitted. Cite source as World Affairs Brief

ANTI-DEPRESSANT DRUGS RAISE THE THREAT OF SUICIDE

Shankar Vedantam of the Washington Post writes, “Adults taking popular antidepressants such as Prozac, Paxil and Zoloft are more than twice as likely to attempt suicide as patients given sugar pills, according to an analysis released yesterday of hundreds of clinical trials involving tens of thousands of patients.” Previously there was a clear link only to teens and suicide, and only when withdrawing them from use of these drugs. What makes these new revelations so important is the breadth of the study: “The examination of 702 controlled clinical trials involving 87,650 patients is the most comprehensive look at the subject and is particularly telling because it counted suicide attempts and included patients treated for a variety of conditions, including sexual dysfunction, bulimia, panic disorder and depression.”

As I have reported before, having talked with problem teens that have used these drugs, anti-depressants suppress the portion of the mind that relays the warnings of conscience, allowing dark spiritual forces full sway to influence and depress. In my opinion, suicide is always accompanied by some form of Satanic depression. That’s what makes suicidal people so resistant to change, or resistant to accepting love and help from others.

Cell Phone Radiation Triggers Measurable Brain Cell Changes in Mere Minutes

As little as 10 minutes on a cell phone can trigger changes in brain cells linked to cell division and cancer, suggests a new study conducted by researchers from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel and published in the Biochemical Journal.

Previously, advocates of cell-phone safety have maintained that the phones cannot cause brain damage because the microwave radiation that they emit is at a level too low to heat the body’s cells. But in the new study, changes in biological processes began at an energy level even lower than that used by a typical phone, even without heating occurring.

The animal studies have also documented considerable evidence of direct toxic effects of fluoride on brain tissue, even at levels as low as 1 ppm fluoride in water (Varner 1998). These effects include:

— reduction in nicotinic acetylcholine receptors;
— reduction in lipid content;
— impaired anti-oxidant defense systems;
— damage to the hippocampus;
— damage to the purkinje cells;
— increased uptake of aluminum;
— formation of beta-amyloid plaques (the classic brain abnormality in Alzheimer’s disease);
— exacerbation of lesions induced by iodine deficiency; and
— accumulation of fluoride in the pineal gland.
