Registered nurse and talk show host, Joyce Riley, discussed the epidemic of violent & murderous episodes involving Gulf War vets, who have typically not found adequate support from the government. Dr. Doug Rokke, a retired Major of the U.S. Army also joined the conversation. Rokke created a U.S. Army Depleted Uranium (DU) Training film, but the DoD failed to ever show his video because of the severity of consequences from DU. A multitude of weapons contribute to DU, including bunker buster bombs, cruise missiles, cluster bombs, and tank & aircraft rounds, he stated. Symptoms from exposure include skin rashes, chronic fatigue, mood swings, memory loss, immune dysfunction, abdominal pain, and blurred vision, he detailed, adding that war zones have become thoroughly contaminated.
In addition to DU, battle fatigue, exposure to experimental vaccines, and toxic environments all contribute to an alarming level of PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) and physical/psychological illnesses suffered by vets, Riley reported. The VA fields an astonishing 450 suicide calls a day, and out of 600,000 troops who served in Desert Storm, over 300,000 have serious medical problems, she cited. Regarding such cases, “these are people who had something happen to their brains, their bodies; they come back and then they are kicked to the side of the curb, and told ‘gee, we don’t see anything wrong with you,’ and then they’re out of the military,” she lamented.
In addition to high suicide rates, vets with PTSD have killed family members, and afterward report that they were in a fog, and have no memory of committing murders, Riley noted. The VA often gives PTSD sufferers antipsychotic or SSRI drugs, which she believes ends up accelerating their levels of aggression and problematic behaviors (this page documents some of the cases). Further, according to Senate Report 103-97, “during the past 50 years, hundreds of thousands of our military have been experimented upon without their knowledge or consent,” Riley pointed out. …

With the passage of the National Defense Authorization Act, the US government can accuse people of domestic terrorism and effectively remove them from their families without any kind of due process, thus trampling on the Bill of Rights, Quayle lamented. “We are, let’s face it, under a state of de facto martial law right now,” with our rights stripped away, a militarized police force, and intrusive surveillance, he continued. Further, he suggested that the US government is tracking citizens’ purchases using various algorithms, and eventually plans to remove guns from homes.
A report has emerged that there could be 14,000 excess deaths in the US linked to Fukushima radiation. The seriousness of the situation in Japan has been hushed up in the mainstream media, Quayle noted, adding that according to his source, there are possible plans for the evacuation of Tokyo. Regarding vaccinations in the US, which eventually may be made mandatory, he believes they put people’s health into a compromised state, and are ultimately part of the elite’s plan to reduce the population. Chemtrails are another method being used to attack people’s immune systems, he suggested.
Quayle said he is keeping an eye on volcanic activity in Iceland, because it could potentially set off the mid-Atlantic ridge in the Azores, causing a huge tsunami. We are seeing antipodal quakes, where seismic activity in one location can trigger a quake on the opposite spot on the globe, he stated. Weather modification technology and scalar weaponry may be increasing climate problems, and quakes, he added. People need to take survival preparedness seriously, and should make sure they have a “bug-out bag”– a portable kit containing items needed to survive for 72 hours when evacuating from a disaster, Quayle advised. A classic interview by Professor Antony Sutton, who taught economics at California State University, and was a research fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution.
In this talk, Prof. Sutton goes into his impeccable research on how a close-knit group of Western financiers and industrialists (centered around Morgan and Rockefeller in the US, and around Milner and the City financiers, in the UK) created and sustained their three supposed enemies right from the very beginning: Soviet Russia, Nazi Germany, and FDR’s Fabian socialism.
Particularly, he goes into how Wall Street/City of London financiers used their banking institutions and their industrial enterprises to:
1) Help finance and sustain the Bolshevik Revolution. Build up Soviet industry during Lenin’s Five-Year Plans, both through finance, technology/industrial transfers and technical assistance. Continue to build the Soviets throughout the entire Cold War, through the same kinds of deals. This included the Korea and the Vietnam eras, during which American troops were being killed by… Western-made Soviet equipment.
2) Build up Nazi Germany, both financially and industrially;
3) Get FDR into power in America as their man, and even draw up the New Deal policies, especially FDR’s National Recovery Act — designed by Gerard Swopes of General Electric and deeply welcomed by Wall Streeters Morgan, Warburg and Rockefeller.
Sutton was not a wild speculator. He was a distinguished academic researcher who documented his conclusions impeccably in his several works. Not being able to counter his research, the establishment (including academia) simply attempts to ignore it, and pretend it isn’t there.
The purpose for these Wall Street policies was very simple: to create, and globalize, what Sutton calls Corporate Socialism. A system under which everything in society is ruled by the state, and the state is, in its stead, controlled by financiers who, hence, get to rule and manage society, to their liking. In other words, to get society to work for the financiers, using a socialist state as an intermediary.
This is what we now know as the globalization economic model. As a result of all the clashes of the 20th century, most notably WWII and the Cold War (fought between powers that were manipulated and controlled by these banker cliques), the world has been ‘globalized’. Meaning that it has been entirely taken over by these financiers, and is ever closer to being completely ruled by them, through not only the national states and national central banking systems, but mainly through supranational agencies and institutions.
Go into Professor Sutton’s books, most notably the Hoover Institute’s series on Western technological/industrial transfers to the Soviets and the ‘Wall Street’ trilogy. If you have a difficulty in purchasing the original books, you’ll find most of them are easily available online, on pdf form.

Without doubt, the United States needs the means to defend itself from terrorists.
Without doubt, the United States should not, in providing for that defense, violate the constitutional principles that define a free people possessed of rights that no government can take away at its discretion.
That’s what provisions of the National Defense Authorization Act do.
They give the president authority to order the military to detain U.S. citizens, on U.S. soil, suspected of terrorist or related activities. And that detention can be without end, for the duration of a war that may have no end, without legal representation, formal charges, the right to face accusers or the right to a trial.
This is flat wrong and patently, dangerously un-American. …
What’s stunning is that the Senate voted 93-7 in favor of these provisions, which were crafted in closed-door meetings without public hearings. We’d like to say that Sens. Mark Begich and Lisa Murkowski were principled enough to be among the seven opposed, but regrettably that was not the case.

Begich and Murkowski have broken this oath. I call on them to repudiate their votes on Senate Bill 1867, the Defense Authorization Bill; they have compromised the freedoms our Constitution guarantees.
SB 1867:
• Compromises the requirement for warrants, probable cause and an oath of affirmation guaranteed by the Fourth Amendment.
• Nullifies the requirement for a grand jury and allows for the deprivation of liberty without due process of law guaranteed by the Fifth Amendment.
• Suspends habeas corpus, and allows for indefinite interment, in disregard of the Sixth Amendment.
• Allows for the indefinite denial of bail, in contradiction of the Eighth Amendment.
• Allows all of these assaults without the oversight of courts or representation for the accused.
Our senators’ votes for this assault on our Constitution are shameful. That 91 other senators joined them is no excuse for breaking their oath.

A number of readers have asked me when did I undergo my epiphany, abandon right-wing Reaganism and become an apostle of truth and justice.
I appreciate the friendly sentiment, but there is a great deal of misconception in the question.
When I saw that the neoconservative response to 9/11 was to turn a war against stateless terrorism into military attacks on Muslim states, I realized that the Bush administration was committing a strategic blunder with open-ended disastrous consequences for the US that, in the end, would destroy Bush, the Republican Party, and the conservative movement.

Yesterday as part of the National Defense Authorization Act, the U.S. Senate voted to repeal the Constitution and its Bill of Rights by authorizing the U.S. military to operate on U.S. soil, conduct secret kidnappings of American citizens and throw them in secret military prisons where they will be “legally” tortured, interrogated and murdered.
All that is required for this to take place is the allegation that you are somehow linked to something resembling “terrorism.” There is no due process and no evidence whatsoever required. You think they won’t do it again? Then why did they just pass a bill declaring the entire USA to be a “battleground” and opening the door for the military to operate in U.S. cities and streets?

The other thing I’m fed up with in all this — so I’m going to voice it right here — is all the liberals who whine about those of us who defend liberty and work to protect the U.S. Constitution and its Bill of Rights. A lot of liberals say they think the Constitution is “outdated.” Well guess what? Sen. John McCain agrees with you! And he’s trying to make it legally obsolete so U.S. troops can kidnap you at gunpoint and you have no legal right to say no.
People, the Bill of Rights is the only thing keeping you alive right now, especially for the liberals who don’t usually own firearms to protect themselves. It’s the Republicans who are trying to destroy the Bill of Rights these days, don’t you get it? All the liberals and progressives reading this should be opposing McCain and the other treasonous Republican Senators who are pushing this “indefinite detainment of American citizens” tyranny.
We should ALL be Constitutionalists — Republican and Democrat, conservative, liberal, libertarian and the undecided. Do you understand that without the Bill of Rights, we are nothing but a military dictatorship run by a bunch of bankster criminals?
Get this through your thick skulls, all you Anderson Cooper-watching zombies: Suppose this bill gets signed into law by Obama, who says “I’ll never use it on American citizens.” But then suppose an evil globalist like Newt Gingrich gets elected into office in 2012. Care to guess what he’ll do with this bill? He will simply declare marijuana to be a “tool of terrorism” and then unleash the U.S. military on California pot dispensaries, using armed troops to round up everybody who smokes a little weed, then throwing them in secret U.S. military prisons where they are subjected to torture. No charges, no public defense attorneys, no due process, no accountability whatsoever. All 100% legal because it was voted into law by the traitorous U.S. Senate.
You think this couldn’t happen in America? Wake up, people: The Patriot Act was passed with the promise that it would “never be used against Americans” and was only for “terrorists,” right? The whole point of the Bill of Rights was the limit government power so that it could not engage in secret arrests, torture, assassinations, indefinite detention and other tactics used by nations like North Korea, China and Cuba. But with this Senate bill, the USA will become a lot like North Korea, which is filled with secret prisons. All the things we in the USA complain about other nations doing to their innocent citizens — illegal arrests, torture, etc. — will be LEGAL under U.S. law!
Gee, does that mean the UN should now invade the United States and fund rebels to overthrow our government in the same way that it did with Egypt and Libya? The complaints against the tyrant dictators of those nations, by the way, pale in comparison to what the United States is about to unleash on its own citizens. So I’m curious of Hillary Clinton will organize a United Nations invasion of America to “protect the innocent protestors” like we do with other nations?

There is a bill in the Senate that is attempting to keep torture alive as an interrogation technique. The National Defense Authorization Act is being debated in Congress and if passed, American citizens could be detained without a court hearing anywhere in the world. President Obama stated he will veto the bill if it should pass. Is Senate Bill 1867 threatening the US constitution? Members of Congress can legally make trades on non-public information they obtain during their official duties, CBS News’ ’60 Minutes’ reported on Sunday night.
Branded ‘honest graft,’ lawmakers can use market-moving information that they learn in congressional committees to trade on the stock market — actions that likely would carry stiff jail and civil penalties if they did not hold public office.
In one example, Steve Kroft reports that Rep. Spencer Bachus (R-AL), now the chair of the House Financial Services Committee, bet against the market in the days before the 2008 financial crisis hit — after getting ‘apocalyptic briefings’ from Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke and then-Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson.
Kroft also raises questions about the trading patterns of Speaker of the House John Boehner and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi — and the real estate purchases of other senators and representatives.
The report relies heavily on the work of Peter Schweizer, a fellow at the conservative Hoover Institution, whose work ’60 Minutes’ independently verified.
“This is a venture opportunity,” Schweizer told ’60 Minutes.’ “This is an opportunity to leverage your position in public service and use that position to enrich yourself, your friends, and your family.”

Washington, D.C. is a town that runs on inside information – but should our elected officials be able to use that information to pad their own pockets? As Steve Kroft reports, members of Congress and their aides have regular access to powerful political intelligence, and many have made well-timed stock market trades in the very industries they regulate. For now, the practice is perfectly legal, but some say it’s time for the law to change.

There is a bill in the US Senate called the National Defense Authorization Act and it could be voted on as early as this week. This bill gives the president the authority to indefinitely imprison American citizens without a court hearing, both domestically and abroad.
