Rush Limbaugh could see a deal with prosecutors in a long-running prescription fraud case collapse after authorities found a bottle of Viagra in his bag at Palm Beach International Airport. The prescription was not in his name.
Limbaugh was detained for more than three hours Monday at the airport after returning from a vacation in the Dominican Republic. …
Under the deal reached last month with prosecutors, Limbaugh was not to be arrested for any infraction for 18 months in exchange for authorities deferring a charge of “doctor shopping.” Prosecutors had alleged the conservative talk-show host illegally deceived multiple physicians to receive overlapping painkiller prescriptions. …
For now, Limbaugh is joking about his brush with the law. He joked about the search on his radio show Tuesday, saying Customs officials didn’t believe him when he said he got the pills at the Clinton Library and he was told they were blue M&Ms. He later added, chuckling: “I had a great time in the Dominican Republic. Wish I could tell you about it.”
Bob Fletcher was on AJ the other day and had a very interesting story about Bono [second video below]. He claimed Bono had put together a Congressional hearing committee that had real subpoena powers to investigate into CIA drug trafficking.
He said Sonny actually went to Washington thinking he could do good. He quickly realized he was surrounded by crooks, everywhere. He was supposedly devastated to find out about government drug dealing. He apparently had several breakdowns over it.
Bob Fletcher is the one who submitted most of the info in a report to Sonny, as requested by Sonny.
He also mentioned that Sonny was so infurious, that he went out of his way to make sure he had secured real subpoena powers to investigate. Meaning he was going to call, by name, many different high ranking politicians and military personal, that would either have to show up and answer all the questions, or go to prison. He set up the Congressional committee, and he was the head of it, to make sure it didn’t get co-opted.
Sonny had everything set up to move forward. He went on a 10 day vacation, and when he returned he was going to pursue the Government for these crimes. He never made it back though….. (source)

What this doesn’t cover is country music, which I think is just as deceptive — in some ways even more so — because many country musicians hide behind Mom, God and apple pie, and of course, America — while they then push sex and the reverse-Christian wars in the name of God and country. The feds are attempting to silence antiwar activist Cindy Sheehan by suing her for what it says are back taxes she owes the government.
In a federal filing in Sacramento, an IRS bureaucrat claimed in a federal filing that Sheehan has refused to provide financial information for the 2005 and 2006 tax years.
On Tuesday, Cindy wrote on her blog that she learned of the government’s case against her when a reporter told her about it at a cafe in Vacaville, California.
Sheehan talked with the reporter on-camera “but I did not tell him anything that I haven’t been publicly and loudly saying since my son was killed in this bloody Empire’s illegal and immoral war in Iraq: I made a moral decision to refuse to fund the Empire’s crimes, tortures and wars. I have not been hiding from anybody and am fully accessible and easy to find,” she writes.
Cindy’s son, U.S. Army Specialist Casey Sheehan, was killed by enemy action during the illegal invasion of Iraq.

In fact, I think in many ways the most interesting candidate – I’d even vote for him if he was running against Obama – is Ron Paul. Because he’s the only one of anybody who’s saying anything intelligent about the future of the world.
How do we go on being who we are? We have an identity crisis here. But as long as we keep running this fantasy through our minds that we can dominate history, it’s not a wild card, it’s a given!
